In the end the Ice Cream Glove is not all that bad... it's the price that makes it scary to buy. I don't think it's the worst thing you could spend money on, you just need to know what you are getting. You are paying for flash, not performance.

This has to be one of your best videos ever. The editing and filming especially are impeccable. When you applied the hot water treatment, did it result in any of the bleeding of the pink or black colors?
I don’t know enough and don’t want to make assumptions but I’ve always had a sketchy vibe from Aria. Great video that answered many of my questions and suspicions. They seem to be more of a marketing company than glove company to some degree. Certainly a unique and fun design. Keep it up👍

I just received a custom Fastpitch glove from patriot glove company, and I am beyond impressed. Not only am I impressed with the design and craftsmanship, but I love the fact that the glove is made here in the USA.

Do you believe that it is truly Japanese kip leather? Wouldn't that be a very good quality leather generally? I just ordered the limited release "Pushin P" so hopefully it holds up. Thanks for the great review.......

I just got a bloodline edge the other day, I absolutely love it so far, the leather is like nothing I’ve ever felt before and I’ve had pro preferreds, hohs, 44s, a200s, a2ks and while ids different, I would say I prefer it. The ONLY complaint I have about it is that the palm liner feels loose. I don’t personally mind it but it is something to keep in mind.
Just got a wilson A2000, A12 model it's a nice glove. You should review it for outfield + pitchers
Just FYI, Aria didn't come up with the Ice Cream design (the rest of their food stuff sure) but it was the collaboration between Lazer Pro and Athlete's Brand that came up with the design first and then Aria swiped it, marked up the price and marketed the shit out of it.
From my understanding it’s actually the guys from athletes brand that started Aria, I’m not 100% sure but I think that may be correct
@@ballgloveking hmm I didn't know that, you might be right but from what I understood they were separate things. Hard to confirm because the Aria brand likes to keep their founders anonymous.
@@ballgloveking I wish Lazer Pro their original manufacturer because I feel like their older gloves always looked more crisp but I still haven't gotten my hands on any of their stuff.
@@SanFranFan30 The Ball Glove King is correct, we did invent the Ice Cream Glove and gave Athletes Brand and Lazer Pro the license to use the ice cream glove for sale first. This is why they don't sell the Ice Cream glove anymore. They used a different factory that just wasn't up to the quality we needed or that Jazz Chisholm required. The glove leather was chosen by Jazz, and the single hinge closure was also chosen by Jazz so this glove is built for Jazz.

What size did u get because I totally agree my red cherry dipped is a 11 3/4 and i love the shape and it closes thumb to ring finger. But my 11.5 sucks the shape is horrible the welting is all crooked going up the thumb but i got to say some are hit are miss.

Seems like the laces have a bunch of stretch to them creating that sloppy web.
The laces aren’t great yeah, I’ve also learned that some of the problem is the shape of the glove. It’s like a funnel to the web so balls keep stretching out that leather

Such a great vid! I'm having the same issues with the palm color fading on my 44pro. Is there anything I can do to get the color back or even just prevent it from continuing to happen?
Apply a light coating of conditioner to maintain the leather. Most ballglove leathers use a compression process to apply a dye. Depending on the color, the dye molecules can dissipate over time if the leather has extended exposure to UV or isn’t properly conditioned.

I got the gloves and I had to replace it in 2 months the leather on the pocket looks exactly like the guy in the video cuz I got the same blue one. The design is fire but I should've just bought a Wilson or a heart of the hide
The blue damaged glove after 6 months that same thing is happening to my sons navy 44 and we take care of our gloves in my house.

I have custom 11.25 a2000 that seemed to be poor quality and was stamped 1799. Leather has some similar wear to these aria gloves after 3 months of general break in. The glove feels off. Any ideas?
That’s odd bro I’m not so sure. Often people don’t take care of their gloves well so that could be it. Or just a fluke of some kind

What do you think of an 11.75 glove at 2nd base? I used to play 3rd on my team but now I'm a 2nd baseman, it's a 44 glove with a shallow pocket I see people saying you shouldn't use more than a 11.5
They're talking out the arse. A number of fantastic second basemen used 11.75. Dustin Pedroia and Brandon Phillips are two that come to mind, despite their game models for sale being 11.5. What you need at second is a shallow pocket for quick transfers. You field with palm and heel of the glove and not the pocket anyway. You should be very comfortable with your glove up the middle. If that glove is bigger than average, then so be it. I'm by no means a good player by pro standards, but coming from experience at middle infield (especially at second) and being under sized, I've played with both and like both. Use what you're comfortable with and what you play well with.
@Island Monkey Yeah, when I customized the glove I made sure to give it a shallow pocket. I just like the extra length to be able to field it cleanly with a little less effort
Folks...these are 44s (from someone who opened one up) with a different highly marketed buzz. Over priced.
Factory makes gloves for several small brands.
can you pretty please do a review on the bible glove or is it the same? I couldn't find any cool pitchers mitts for Christmas so I asked for this and I really hope its good quality because I don't want to have it break on me in a couple months. I love how it looks too so that would be shameful.

Out of nearly 10k gloves sold this past year, we've only had around 15 gloves break. We offer a 1 year defect warranty and a 30 day return policy so that you can see the quality yourself. the Bible glove is the game glove of big league pitcher Luke Weaver, and around 50 minor league players as well.

This leather is worse than 44’s for sure. I know they are both referred to as kip leather but it is different grades of kip leather
The same way that pro preferreds are kip but they are clearly higher quality than 44 leather
for $400, you should be getting leather thats at least 44pro quality and will last you a while.
For $400 you should be getting A2K or PP Leather
Right, I understand that they need to use somewhat cheap leather to make it affordable but it’s gotta get better!

Only problem with Nokona is that their least expensive glove is around $400.
