"He's going to grab all the marbles and its our job to hide them." "Thats not how you play marbles Jack." "But that's how you keep them!" Love that line.

Jack Donaghy was such a great character that it made me wish that Alec Baldwin wasn’t Alec Baldwin. As rich and handsome as Jack is, there is a good and generous heart underneath it all.
And I liked that he's a conservative and a Republican. The writers of 30 Rock did not mock him for his political believes, but rather overexaggerate this character trade in a loving and respectful way
Good God, Lemon! I've been looking for a mentor like this for AGES (or maybe just a real person like this in my life to look up to). He actually offers his knowledge to you for free and you DECLINE? I don't understand.
Either it's the pot or is Alec Baldwin saying, "I do, do" and Liz lemon/Tina Fey being visibly amused by it the funniest thing? There HAS to be a story behind that line! I just noticed she tilts her head up slightly in anticipation of the line and her subsequent joy after hearing it.
Yes. I came back to this just to remind myself of how hilarious he was on this show. Ahole losers on social media love nothing more than a good lynching, like theyre so perfect, like they have never made mistakes. The tragedy was just that, or the complete negligence of the prop guy, but i dont want to blame them either, because nobody really knows what the hell happened. The only thing i know is that Alec Baldwin did nothing intentionally.
Why 30 Rock is not available on any of the OTT platform in India anymore? It used to be on Amazon prime but for years now it says currently not available. Its there on Peacock but that is not available in India. DO SOMETHING. !!!!!!!
@@JimboRustles What are you, some 12 year old gamer geek? its not funny that a woman is dead because someone put live ammo in a gun. Why is nobody going after the person who did that? “Smug 40 year old bridesmaid. What a treat for everyone.” 🤣 🤣
Bridesmaid Liz is pretty cute, tho.
“Never go with a hippie to a second location.” “It’s after 6. What am I? A farmer?”
Words to live by every day
Works for me
really thought the very first scene in this clip was going to be the farmer joke. so hilarious and epically timeless advice.
Hilarious. I just was thinking my 2 favorite quotes from the show, those were them.
Also I heard on podcasts that these are both direct Lorne Michael's quotes. So, yeah guy is a genius
"He's going to grab all the marbles and its our job to hide them."
"Thats not how you play marbles Jack."
"But that's how you keep them!"
Love that line.
"Life is about minimizing regrets" I consider that a good observation.
Actually said this to a friend once. Didn’t know it was a line on this show 😅
Jack Donaghy was glorious. His wisdom was unparalleled, his sanity was questionable, but he was glorious
Except when he acted like “Rat King” was a title and not a tangled mess of rats with knotted tails
He was a functional alcoholic with a great voice.
And his aim was deadly.
He's like an eagle. A handsome, insane eagle.
It's Jack Donaghy > Hercules > Highlander > God.
"you've got to ... .. admire his persistence" lol. love how he transitions from serious convo to absolute ridiculousness
I love how afterwards he says “is he in a business meeting” lol
“It’s called POWER CLASHING and I do it because I can” don’t know why but that line has always stuck with me 😂
Jack and Lemon are pretty much the best duo in comedy history.
I agree
Jack Lemon was good too 😁

Baldwin has always been a very physical actor. It's all over Hunt for Red October.

Find And Watch Alec Baldwins Impersonations Of President Donald Trump .
Me too, I saw him in Glengarry Glen Ross and always thought of him as the hardass with the always be closing speech
The casting and writing were impeccable. Baldwin delivered masterpiece after masterpiece. Absolutely loved this show
The subtitles for Jack speaking French are one of the best jokes in this compilation
Life is about minimizing regrets. Now that hit hard.
It hit the cinematographer even harder.

Jack is a good friend. He listens and gives advice from life experience.

Too bad he’s careless with guns.

Jack Donaghy is definitely one of the greatest TV show characters of all time!
Why do I get the feeling that Jack’s insight and advice is spot on? It’s funny…cruel…even a bit psychotic but still spot on? Such a scary thought.
The writing is so tight in this show
You miss every shot you don’t take. Alec never misses.
