Great range test Dan👍 just under 900m is really good for this little drone, pity that RX drone app is not up to par with the telemetry, i have used it a couple times on drones and it acts weird as well with the readings being not that accurate.
People always put the fault in the app !! Its not the app its the drones fault !!!! Thats why when you choose and see a review off a more expensive one ,the rx drone app works well !!! And what about this chinese copy and paste brands make their one optimized app ??? No offcourse not ,they su..k at making software and only like to copy products style !! But no substance or quality! From this stores for drones only gonna trust eachine or mjxrc bugs in the future !!! To many refunds and wasted time with this garbage !
Thanks so much for the awesome informative videos buddy. Was surprised to see the RTH actually worked there because my one goes 50 to 100m away from where it took off. My distance telemetry also shows much higher than it actually is so I think that's a factory error on all of them
@@Van_City Given that it found its way back, I'd guarantee it's the app. Clearly the GPS is good on board or it would get lost. I'm also wondering if it's a slope distance, but even that doesn't account for the size of the distance error so the app is obviously at fault whether due to poor programming or deliberate obfuscation is debatable.
MY friend never trust the ones they receive ,because bangood know this is gonna be used for reviews !So they test and give them the good ones ! But for the rest off us buyng there you receive whatever they put together and dont expect quality assurance and testing !!! IM was in a shenzen factory for cheap phones and that dont exist ! They sell you even if the battery is inflated and the thing dont turn on !!!! Mine when i turn the gps on it goes crazy like a dumb alcohlic dancing !!!!This chinese stores dont have regard for quality or beeing honest!!! We cannot never trust in the description off their products !! Sometimes they dont even correct the product page and are selling one model and you have the description off another model more expensive to fool you !!!
Thanks for that range test. There are so many cheap drones flooding the market it's hard to know which one is actually any good. Awesome drone for such low price. The S6S drones I see on aliexpress have range listed as only 500 meters and image transmission distance of only 200 meters. So your range test actually beats the specs (as they are currently listed). Or could there be multiple variants of S6S drones out there?
I don’t believe there are multiple variants. A big factor when it comes to range is where you fly and how much wifi interfere there is in the area. Thanks for watching have a great weekend

I would currently be very interested in a test AE-10 mini drone from the same manufacturer! Under 250 grams, GPS/Glonass, brushless motors, 25 minutes of power and 4K/EIS resolution even with videos for less than 100 Dollar sounds too good to be true.
Yeah with such a low price point it should only be considered a beginner drone and most likely would not be comparable to the performance of a Mavic Mini

@@gvibes69 I now own this drone (AE10) and I have to say, not bad. She manages a good 20 minutes in the air. The GPS keeps them safely in the air. Home function actually worked on every attempt. Flying up to the limit of visibility (I would not dare to do more with this drone) is feasible. The videos are foreseeably unusable because of the missing gimbal. But photos are about mobile phone level, so passable. The remote control doesn't look high quality, but it works. All in all, the price/performance ratio is right. Still not comparable to DJI drones, but much better than the first copies a few years ago.
What's that distance like 3 to 4 foot ball fields at yer longest? So like 500 meters realistically cause unless u got the eyes of an eagle u cant see thar drone @ 1500m lol? Is that normal that it will come back like that or is that rare also os it supposed to come home when it loses signal.
Is the b6 the same drone as this one or slightly better or slightly worse? Cause I got the b6 coming which looks EXACTLY the same but if it's not imma send it back and get this one
If you’re on a budget and looking for a drone that takes decent pictures and has good flight time then this one’s ok. If you’re looking for DJI quality then this one I would not recommend
Bought two drones based on youtube reviews but forget this guys have afiliate links, and make money from people buying from bangood or aliexpress ! The drones are choosed by this stores handpicked has the best ones ,working properly and tested properly beforehand, because they know this is gonna be reviewed ! But unfortanely we the common folk , dont have the same luck ! Since the chinese dont have any quality assurance in their warehouses and manufacturing, we receive almost all products with issues and damaged batteries !!! This drone i was expecting something half decent but battery is only 12 minutes indoor, doing nothing, and when i turn on gps with 12 satellites ( suposedly) and calibration offcourse, the guy became crazy going all sides beeing impossible to control !!!! It lose control off fpv after 30 meters lol ! Even my no gps helicopter has more video frames (25) and better fpv range more or less 80 meters !Not even tested the radio signal because im gonna ask for refund ! But i guess is gonna be like 100 meters or less ! My toy drone denver dro 200 is only 75 grams and its much better to control in the wind and with is coreless 716 motors put this garbage in the dust and have three speeds ( this turtle s6s only has two speeds ) and this crap is so slow turning left or right so great for brushless motors ,lolz ! But hey ,maybe they last more than one week beeing brushless ! People dont buy this crappy brands !! They send you this in a storage bag instead off lacred in a proper card box with the brand name ,so you dont know if the product is used or not , choose at least a brand like mjxrc and their bugs drones or eachine ,at least you can contact them directly by phone or email and buy parts in the future ! Yeah bangood give me the refund for the first garbage drone, the gd89 plus, and i stayed with the drone ( but a motor died after one week basically with no flyting time ) thats why they dont even want return off this garbage and give you the money because they know they are not worth the hassle ,and gonna die after 2 weeks anyway, soo... The helicopter ky202 that actually is the best off all !!!They "forget" to give me my second battery ( people complaint they do that alot) only the youtube reviewers receive their batteries ! and now this one im having another ticket for replacment or refund !!! But even they give you the refunds ,having all this hassle and sending videos for proof!!!I want something to have fun and not have to waste my time and passing almost 3 weeks and not having a drone for flying !!! At least my denver drone (danish brand) works well ! And thats the diference this brands over delivered ,they put the desciptions off the drone in the site or box and in this case i have more functions that they say , like a 360 and not only 4 way flips ,and a batery for 9-10 minutes when they say is for 6-7 and even go more than the 15-25 meters distance ,going more than 30 !!! With this chinese ones, is always underdelivering ,you have to expect much lower battery life or distance that they say in their decription !!! Yeah my denver drone dont have fpv or big functions but at least it works and i can have fun !!!!And it only 22 euros soo !

Dont do any quality assurance ( only for the youtubers for reviews) even a simple thing like put the internal antenna in a vertical postition to only have the resistance off the small plastic in uupper place off the controller ! but no !! they put that in a horizontal position in one off the cases was inside the joystic beeing covered even more !!!This shows no regard for quality ,and putting the antenna wire in a vertical position give you right away alot more signal !! So ridicolous !!! Or instead off creating fake plastic antenas outside , why they dont make a bigger cable for the antena and put the cable outside in one off this fake plastic ?? Its that hard ??? But no ! They only want to fake and trick people instead off giving a quality product to people !

I made it just over 800m, it is normal for it to return like that and will try to home if it loses signal
