I almost didn't make it due to an emergency situation at home, but thankfully that was resolved and was able to see the 9:30pm showing last night(which actually ended starting at like 10pm). This was filmed on November 3rd 2022

I'm glad to see my favorite Nighttime Spectacular return to WDW in Florida.
If you ask me, the pathway, in DHS, leading up to the "stadium-like" seating area where the show takes place makes "Fantasmic" all the more exciting to see.
This is such a must do and one of the reasons that WDW is so special. This video brings back favoured memories. Goosebumps and tears. Thank you.
The new sections injects some new energy into the show but that Dragon!! Still a puppet on stick and from your angle it's even more evident. But it is great to have the show back. Thanks for getting the vid 4K.
Haha yea, the dragon definitely is not good but I’m also just glad the show is back! Disney could have easily just scrapped this show and replaced it with something different, so I’m very appreciative that didn’t happen. It’s my pleasure as always Andrew, thank you so much 😃

Never got the chance to see the old Fantasmic show before COVID. Booked for 2023 and I couldn’t be more excited to see the new show!!!
Incredibly nostalgic. I'm really happy with the new segments added. Some much needed love to Show Yourself from Frozen 2.
Just wish the villain segment had more new villains, the bubbles had new themes, and the dragon could get some more love, but enjoyed it.

Great video!! IT was such a HUGE COMEBACK!! The music, the magic and the mouse! The new Scenes were terrific!! I definitely loved Mulan. So Happy Elsa and Moana were added! They deserved it! I was also glad the cannon shot was takes out since it was a load BOOM!! What did you think? Thanks so much for filming it!! Love you Mickey!!!😃👍🏻

This was such a fun video to watch! My favorite is at Disneyland, but this one at Hollywood Studios is quite amazing as well! The Fantasmic music always makes me feel emotional, and Mickey is always so fun to watch. Thanks again for such great content!👏👏
Thank you so much! A family member had sudden car trouble, so I had to leave the Studios and go help out with that. Didn’t know if I was going to make it back but thankfully everything got fixed and I was able to catch the show! I agree, Disneylands is much better but this one is still a wonderful show too! I’m so happy it’s back!
Great video‼️ I saw Disneyland’s version of this couple months ago!! Definitely watch FL’s version of the show!! The new scenes in this was fantastic!! Definitely going to see this during my future trip there!!

I think the updates are lovely don't get me wrong but there is just something about the remix of Steady as the Beating Drum from the old version of the show that moves me to tears every time I hear it and I'm sad it's not there anymore

Thank you Rick, I’m glad everything worked out too! A family member had car issues so I immediately left the Studios to help out. But thankfully everything was fixed rather quickly and was able to see the 2nd showing of Fantasmic!
Welcome Back
They were so smart. They brought back the Fantasmic that we all have LOVED for years without making major changes that would piss everybody off. They upgraded the tech and added new scenes, but left the heart of the show alone. They should have done the same thing at EPCOT. Illuminations just needed some tech updates and we all would have been happy,
love this show I always cry and the new scenes are good they are well integrated in my opinion 🐍
I think they should’ve change the dragon for Maleficent scene because it’s start to show it’s age. Moana, Frozen, Mulan and Aladdin were great additions because the storyline is fast paste and it took the show to a different level. But the DISNEY VILLAINS IS THE MAIN PART OF THE SHOW ESPECIALLY MALEFICENT. Maleficent dragon should’ve got updated too like bringing the Disneyland version of Maleficent Dragon to the show. But overall the show is much better. It’s not a clone to the Disneyland version of Fantasmic. They did it in their own way but I wish they would change the Maleficent dragon.

This was so cool it was like watching Fantasia on stage to this day I hope they bring it to Broadway or make another Fantasia movie at least to be on Disney +
A half hour display like this wouldn't be enough for Broadway!

So nice to see the show back again. I haven't seen it in something like 15 years, so I'm sure the changes were made before this show, but I love the updates!
A much improved show. Especially like the new Steamboat Willy steamer, much better than the skinny paddle boat.

💥Chills hearing that theme music. Between the opening of Avengers Campus/DLP or this, I'd pick being one of the first 6900 for *this* in a heartbeat. New sections work well, they were needed. (💙the Aladdin bad guys trampoline work) Weren't there some "real" f/works at the end of the old show? Even in the nosebleeds, your vid is solid. Scary to hear of the emergency but relived to hear it was resolved. Crazy you were able to make it & have the where with all to film. Glad this is finally in the channel's archives. LOL. Great job 4 💜
Where was an emergency?
I’m so glad I was able to make it! I was actually already at the Studios at 5pm, but had to leave to help a family member who had car trouble. Took awhile to get that resolved but at least I made it for the 2nd show! It was really so good for the heart to see this show again, and the upgrades do look wonderful. I thought the fireworks used to be more intense before, but I’m not entirely sure since it’s just been too long lol. Thank you so much as always Liz😃

i like the overall improvements, but that dragon animatronic is still an absolute embarrassment compared to Murphy in California.

I will literally go to Disney and help brainstorm low-budget ideas for sprucing up the stick dragon for free.
Really liked the new Frozen and Moana bits.
Some of the quickly flashing lights that appear on the mountain during Mulan and the roses during the prince and princesses segment don't strike me as a good fit. They give gas station casino vibes.

It’s terrible. There are many segments that needed to be changed. I’m glad they updated the lights and lasers, but not everything was good. The only good hero scenes were Elsa and Moana
The one in Disneyland is underground. They probably don't have the infrastructure to have a dragon underground. I don't want a long closure just for that knowing how long they build stuff. I'm okay with what they have.
@@gissneric the problem is they just had a long closure. Why couldn’t the entire show be upgraded during the pandemic? Disney keeps doing the bare minimum and we’re supposed to act like it’s worth the $110+ day tickets
This wasn’t a fantasmic 2.0 everyone keeps saying they are disappointed because the entire show wasn’t overhauled and completely changed when that wasn’t their intent in the first place, they just had some new lights and a new segment. They never planned on changing any of the other scenes. Just be grateful it’s back and not mope about how you wanted it to look Instead.

The *Old Floating Head Dragon* at the end 23:38 , instead of the New cool, and awesome full body animatronic Dragon? Why? What is this 1995? LOL If I was the person filming I'd hop into a time machine, go back in time to 1995, and ask *Michael Eisner* for a full refund LOL 🤣😂🤣
P.S. I really dislike the new live action changes to the show. It was nice to hear Pocahontas, and Aladdin singing, but the rest fell flat, and felt kinda dull / forced to me. 🤮🤢🤮 Oh, well. 🤥 Nice camera and editing job!
