Imagine thinking that no one remembered or cared about the song “Someday” or Hunchback of Notre Dame anymore, then hearing it as the MAIN THEME of the firework show they have been developing for years.
I did not do a very good job hiding how much I cried when I saw this.
That song got the love it deserved for sure!
If any Disney movie deserves the live action treatment, it's Hunchback. So relevant and powerful for our world today. Just imagine if they got Lady Gaga as Esmeralda... oscar-worthy.
I was so stunned/happy to hear it! With a show centered around music it was so amazing to hear arguably Disney’s best soundtrack masterpiece! I was thrilled!!!

Absolutely! Anytime we go watch Harmonious live, you can hear the thrilled reactions at the beginning of that song.
I recently saw this show in person and as great as this recording is, nothing beats seeing it in person. Because you can literally feels the fireworks and how massive every thing is

This show was the highlight of my entire vacation.
I was just there and saw it in person my neice who is 3 years was crying because it was beautiful and it shoes we are one world no matter were we are
God that How Far I’ll Go and Go the Distance mix brought me to tears that was magical

Seen this in person last Tuesday! It was sooo beautiful that I cried. Moana, Lion King, Mulan, and Coco was my fav! Such a great show to end the night at Epcot❤️
It really is the best show on property at the moment.
This show is impressive. Fun Fact: harmonious was supposed to premiere in 2020, but the pandemic delayed it to October 1, 2021 (Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary). (This show is no longer showing because guests complained the barges blocked the view of showcase lagoon)
Hands down, this is the BEST nighttime spectacular that Disney has ever created. I did not record it because, honestly, I was not expecting it to be this good. Thank you for sharing. Seeing it live is INCREDIBLE, but I am so glad I found a recording out there to relive it.

At 11:40 , you can hear the slight details of Italian music during Out There. The attention to detail to ensure each culture is represented Disney displays in this show is magnificent

I have a Japanese-American coworker (we are cast members) who said she’s salty about Japan not being represented. To be fair, we don’t really have a prominent Disney movie based in Japanese culture, but we should! I’m holding out for one in the future❤

I've gotten to see it several times, in person. It is a good show. That first volley and the finale are great.
It just gets better every time you see it.
I have been to WDW countless times and this is the best light show they've ever done, hands down.

I got to see it in person last summer and it was AMAZING. I recorded the whole thing on my phone and my arm was dying by the end but it was worth it 😂

Omg Harmonious is amazing! Almost makes up for HEA being gone :(. I loved how so many films and characters were featured, especially those that don’t get featured that often in Disney firework shows! 10/10 in my book :)!

Really miss this show. Premiered during my CP and then I worked fireworks crowd control almost every night. It's been over a year but I still have it mostly memorized (even the cues of when we needed to start packing up) Definitely biased but this is the best fireworks show in a while :)

I think Harmonious’s fatal flaw was that it looked amazing… but only if you stood in exactly the right place. Epcot needs a show that looks the same from any angle and this didn’t, meaning you weren’t getting the full experience unless you were watching from a specific angle
Exactly this. If you didn’t have the big ring right in the center with the taco barges flanking it on each side, you got less of an experience.
This video is from the exact perfect spot, but it was tough to get that spot every time. We’d find ourselves skipping things in the park to sit and wait for a fireworks show, and that’s less than desirable.
That blackout moment at the very end gets me every time! It’s so emotional!

This is legit as good as in person. Every time - the Mulan bit and Lion king make me absolutely sob. Like almost ugly cry XD This show is/was a therapy session for me and I can't even describe why. I hope this recording never goes down in quality as time progresses. THE BEST firework show I have ever - EVER - seen.

This show was absolutely captivating.. I remember the first time I saw it, we were in right next to one of the firework cannons. The end where a firework shoots out from all over world showcase.. that feeling of being connected, one as a whole in harmony as everyone cheers for their country or favorite country.. or even to be a part of a whole, with this big boom you feel in your soul.. harmonious will always be my favorite, and most memorable Epcot show
Epcot took all of the previous firework, shows to the next level with a much more cool valuable lesson at the end of the show more complex animations in light shows… And wow what a soundtrack
They honestly outdid themselves with Harmonious, we couldn’t agree with your opinion more!
ROE hands down… the music progression on that show will never be topped.
Everyone has their preferences and the newest show feels like a combination of both.

That portion of the show was in the EPCOT Experience building Preview and was one of the reasons we were so excited for this to come out. CHILLS.

It was a great mashup indeed!!!! I was a bit sad we were the only native language that got such a small "stage time" (with only one phrase in Greek), but ultimately I nevermind it cause this show is one of the most beautiful, well orchestrated and moving things I have ever seen ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉!!

This is a really good fun fireworks show. Too bad it will be short lived and ending in 2023. Only lasting 1.5 years.

Harmonious ended when the 50th anniversary ended, along with Enchantment over at Magic Kingdom.
My wife and I had just finished our honeymoon disney cruise and then did the parks afterwards... this was the perfect way to end the honeymoon (even feeling rank with covid)

Very beautiful and I'm sure I'd love it if I were there....but.....I feel Epcot is to reliant on Disney movies and characters. I guess most people enjoy that but I always loved how Epcot celebrated itself and was more of world celebration of culture. The original illuminations captured something very different!! Disney is trying but they really could use some of their 70's, 80s, and 90s imagineers.Or maybe I'm just old and want things to stay the same :)
Nostalgia is a huge part of the EPCOT lore. However, a lot of this show is based around the celebration of world culture as well, just featuring IP’s this time around. It’s a beautiful show with an incredible soundtrack and stunning visuals. Love where the “new” EPCOT is headed, rather than stuck in the 80s/90s representation of the “future” and “imagination.”
Isn’t Epcot a DISNEY PARK? Also, the songs were sung in different languages.

I don't know, as a young person I agree with your comment. I don't like this new stuff. Marvel is not Disney! Just more places to pocket money from. It seems like the tributes to Walt in the shows are disappearing, I'm not saying he should be in this show but the other shows he isn't included either.

This was a perfect show for Epcot. It is a perfect fit. I never saw it in person but it didn’t stop me from holding back tears when I watched it live on Disney Plus.
If people are just complaining about the barges during day blocking the view, then Disney should use its money to find a way to make them mobile and bring them back only at night.
Also hearing the iconic songs I might hear non stop, in a different language, it felt like I was hearing them for the first time. 🥹

illuminations actually use that song in the Hunchback of Norte Dame is the same thing with reflection from Mulan and for Go the Distance

Simplemente espectacular cada unos de los parques Disney, junto a mi familia vibramos y nos emocionamos al presenciar dicho espectáculo en vivo al igual que Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom y Disney’s Hollywood Studios , el estar ahí es indescriptible a nivel de sensaciones. Poder ver todo mediante la pantalla, permite observar aquellos detalles que se escapan al estar en vivo, ya que se puede disfrutar con mayor tranquilidad.

It's too bad some of the show doesn't work properly anymore. I'm able to see this show a lot and the lasers aren't there in the same capacity, some of the fireworks don't always go off, and the last time I was there this past week one of the arms wasn't lit up at all. For the price you pay to get into Disney I expect better.
Thank you for filming it the way you did though. So many people film this with their phone and are constantly zooming in and out trying to catch every little detail which is so annoying. Great job on filming this show.
We have experienced that too, but they always make the fix soon after. Definitely recommend checking it out again. Thank you for the high praise, we wanted to capture this show the way it deserves it be watched!
@@ACoupleOfParkHoppers For people seeing it for the first time (maybe the only time) they most likely don't even recognize the errors in the show. Unless you're someone like me who has seen in person multiple times you'd probably never see when things aren't working properly unless its blatantly obvious.
@@ACoupleOfParkHoppers I do have to second this. I just saw it Friday night and again Saturday night. Friday night it came across as a technical rehearsal that had a train wreck. they were all over the place. many things did not work including all four arms around the Stargate barge and not a single laser. then Saturday night. everything worked. The lasers were on point... string ray, Lazer waves, Mufasa, beams shooting everywhere, the Rose... you name it it was there in full glory. If there was a firework that didn't go off, I didn't notice. So they do fix things. And sometimes in the course of just one evening.

Great recording and audio this is my go to! I just wanted to note how the show needs to be more relevant to the park and have more of a story to it like ROE did. I also think the finale was shortened due to the budget cuts we are seeing right now. I don’t like where the company is going especially with the full Disney Genie thing

I recently saw this show for the first time in person. I knew nothing about it, but as soon as these songs I've learned to love over the years began to be sung in languages other than my own, I teared up. Culture and language are beautiful. Somehow despite the barrier, I could perfectly understand the emotion of each language. And when Arabian Nights started, oh, I fully cried. So majestic in person. Thank you for sharing a beautiful recording!

I'm so mad I wasn't able to sit down and watch the whole show. My party was too focused on trying to get out of the park before the show ended so that we wouldn't have to sit in lines to get out.
Truly you lost out. Epcot parking lot, like all Disney parking lots, exits out extremely well. There is no line to get stuck in getting out unless it July 4th or New Year's Eve.
We get it, sometimes those long days have us ready to go. Definitely worth staying though!
