He says celebrating the film’s release on the red carpet with his son was the “best night of his life.”

All praise to Steven Spielberg as well! He truly sees the talent amongst the Filipinos! Not too many people know the truth as to why he picked Filipino Actor Dante Basco as Rufio in the movie Hook but those who do, know that there was something in Dante's Filipino persona that won Steven over as Rufio. This is so awesome and to know that Mainstream Directors actually recognize all that we do offer which is not only some of the best cultural foods in the world, not only good at singing (except for me, LOL), not only passionate about helping people, but also can be really awesome actors. Thank you Steven Spielberg for giving us the chance to showcase and expose the Filipino culture on mainstream Hollywood!

I'm hoping a sequel would be in the making for this....this time it's like filipinos mingling culture with black americans. It would sure be a laugh fest and heartful with sad scenes of struggling together

Honesty, FEW people who watched it were in denial, they can’t accept that the movie was BAD.
I’m PINOY, the movie / script / plot was poorly made.👎👎👎✌️rate it 5.5 out of 10.
Actors / Actress were good, props to them.
If the script was written by PINOY, this movie would have been better.
