    Don't even need Carbon, every carbon pole I've own just breaks within a year and warranties on carbon are garbo. I use Aluminum and yeah it's heaver but they are so much more durable and have much better warranty

    If you go too cheap, the poles will be super noisy, and the adjustment levers will break. But, no, you don’t really need all the bells and whistles that make some of these poles cost a lot more.

    I got some carbon poles for 35 quid grips arent great, but it's great for a beginner
