Peasants flee the Northern Empire so as to avoid battle with the berserker. Sturgian veterans start going viking to honor his feats. And a young, ambitious steppe bandit sees an opportunity to make money, eliminate problematic nobles, and sow the seeds for future conquest.
For one of these, you should make a character who acts really brave and valiant but is actually a coward who manipulates, betrays, and weasels his way to success. He has others fight his battles for him and rarely gets his hands dirty. He could be like a noble or something like that.
Shieldwall sucks for fighting use it to protect while moving men and when close go back to line and then charge theres a youtuber that did tests on all the formations for every style of troop and shieldwall is the worst square is acutally the best
I remember my own raider playthrough I at long last declared my own kingdom after a long crusade of raiding pillage and lord slaying across the continent to only then get I think the West Empire The South Empire that Desert guy who is orange and the Battania and Vlandia all declared war on me and then me fighting them all off making peace becoming like 100K plus in debt after all the tribute .... not sure what to do now lol
Next character, a horse fuc- i mean a Khuzait, he lived with his father and his mother learning how to take care of horses tho is father get called to fight and raid the empire borders, luckly the family was rich enough so he could buy proper equipment, but he never returned (is the man Darius killed, so we expand the lore), things become harder as others farmers pressured his mother to marry them or to sale the farm to them, the pressure was to much and the woman got sicked and eventually she passed out, so now this young man have nothing left in his life then a busness that he can't manage on his own as the others more experiance farmers started to hire his workers and slowly steal his horses land, he decided to sell the farm and join the army of a lord, hoping that one day he will get rich and famouse sacking the empire that took away his father and get reveange on the notable that basically killed his mother. Name, you decide
So a tough character challenge. Try being a "smart nerd" with excellent intelligence related skills like engineering, tactics, medicine but no real combative personal skills "aka you can't fight due to some rp disease" Alternatively, go full warrior conquering princess but you can't recruit random troops. You can only recruit prisoners or rescued troops. I guess you can recruit other women just to have companions at the start perhaps.
Would definitely like to see the modlist, I've done a couple of playthroughs of Bannerlord now in Vanilla, but I'd be keen to see what you've got loaded

The Medic 25 perk that heals after battles is broken. You can send troops and get the health back despite not fighting yourself. Press A to recruit all.
i feel the towns, castles do not payout enough money. i finally got around 6k prosperity town. and fully upgraded the buildings. got good-ok governor. total income is less than 2k................ i mean u can spend that just on the garrison. let alone trying to run your army. my play through i got 4 towns and 1 castle i was non stop fighting and dumping money into the upgrades. then all the sudden i kept going bankrupt lol. i had to take a month running around to each fief and fire more than half the garrisons. loosing 9k a day with my army. cut it all down to where i was making 1k a day finally..... but man. i dont get how the AI can run their armys, 400 person garrison and have lords running around with 100 + person armys on top and not go bankrupt....... i was non stop selling my stuff never was enough lol. so unless the AI gets a lot more gold then we do the economics just dont make sense
Character concept idea: the first Rhodok. start as a Vlandian mercenary, polearms and crossbows only, no cavalry allowed in your army, work towards the end goal of setting up your own kingdom in the southern half of Vlandia and expanding into western empire and Aserai lands

I have a small battania raider band with the same 8 skirmishes 2 wildings since I started, I’ve got 45 total men taking advantage of horses in inventory outrunning lords and trapping caravans, raiding every nation minus batannia, and sturgia to have safe zones to fall back to, sell of loot ect. I went from being a western vassal on my previous playthrough to causing rebellions due to me breaking the economy from raiding villagers and caravans. To the point Garios payed me 43k debar to stop f-in his shi up
Simo, this was a great video but I need some actual war crimes. Kidnap some nobles, only to execute them when you receive payment. Or something truly brutal like that. I know Bannerlord doesn't support these actions, because it's still not on 1.0 so modding support isn't all there yet. But these were weak war crimes and I know Thorgrim hungers for more violence. However Thorgrim's wallet is full, and I'm curious to see what you do with the insane funds you have now. Hire mercenaries? Support Sturgian infrastructure with breweries and mills? Buy your way into Sturgian nobility to get some real raiding done? Excited to see more violence in the future! Less talking, more war crimes c'mon now!
