This is great and helpful! I've been crocheting for almost 5 years now but from tutorials only. I really want to learn how to read patterns and so far can read easy patterns so it's a start. I'm trying to find books on simple patterns, not so much these types of books but I can also see how some of them would be beneficial to me. Thanks again!

I'd like to know if you can help me. I fell in love with King Cole Shine. It's a black and gray yarn with silver tinsel I guess you call it. I originally wanted to make a cardigan but the more I crochet with it the more I don't like it. Can you tell me if a cardigan or shawl will look ok with this metallic sparkly type yarn? I bought 12 skeins of it and still like it but I don't want to waste my time if a cardigan will look like a horrible. Please let me know your thoughts.

I cannot read crochet patterns but the Cute Critters book is so easy to follow. I've made over 10 of the patterns. Must have amigurimi book!!!!! 😊😊😊😊
