Everyone played a role and stuck to it, then Rose returned and the game planned changed to running the game through him and their productivity and execution fell off. You almost have the other players playing "lost" if you will. Instead of using their talents to play to win, they played to get the ball to Rose to win

90s Sports Nostalgia Auburn isn't playing like a 5 seed. Check out some highlights of their SEC tournament games. The Tigers have been playing like a 1-2 seed for the past month now. With all due respect to the Ducks, I think Auburn is the lowest seed remaining that can win it all.
Altman is staying out for a while. Love his flexiblity to find the best ways for his players to succeed. And these guys respond. There is no true superstars. It’s all team ball. Offensively and defensively. There is only one superstar and that’s the entire squad itself, plus the coaching staff.
Oregon went to the final four and the year after failed to make the tournament. Why? Well, they lost pretty much everyone that mattered. Arizona lost it's entire starting 5 and 2 role players. No disrespect but Oregon only made the tourney because they got hot at the end. This is the second year Oregon lost over 10 games. Anyways, Oregon is playing lights out on defense. Arizona will be ok. Reinforcements are on their way.

These coaches need to make these young kids watch Hakeem game film. Besides benefitting from his footwork, they'll learn that sure you look like a big man volleyball spiking a block into the stands, but it's a lot more impressive to make the block and grab it or direct it to your teammate..(that last one was lucky, he didn't plan it)
