I've played the original way back when I was a kid. It was still memorable due to the soundtrack and memorable voice acting. And sure, game itself has its own cheesy moments. Like the one infamous example I can provide, if you mind take over the woman at the carnival and lead her back to the UFO, you'll be treatment with a comical la-la-la singing of her and it's still glued to my head to this day, shame though it was removed but I don't mind both variants. I still even remember how you have to even cleanup a passage full of debris and obstacles for the military truck to pass through and funnily enough both versions still have inconsistent bugs where the truck can lose either A. Navigation pathing and derp wrong way and destroy the vehicle resulting stalemate or B. Truck not responding and just gets stuck resulting you to retry the mission. Despite knowing some of these changes and all given, the game has its charm. I mean, you'd still shut down your brain and do whatever you want like in GTA as it was your own personal sandbox. While I can agree it has repetitive moments I couldn't care less, I pretty much tried to go for achievement nooks and cranny collecting since it would be a blast to ace the game knowing that I've played it years back as a sense of OG nostalgia and accomplishment. So nothing of interest was lost. (I should mention that the difficulty does ramp up sometimes and I would point out that original had felt way harder but I'm pretty sure that's because as a kid I barely invested into upgrades and did whatever I could and I never actually got to the end of the boss fight in og version) Thus difficulty ramping in both games still almost feel same... I can't say much about the last boss fight I have fought but I beat it on 2nd try. Again, with all these reviews it's surprising how these are not too harsh against the game which is a huge respect but with that being said, game is fine where it is.
I played the original games back when they came out. Yes, all of the lines that are said in game are just ripped from the original game, including the lines about the Korean villages, same with the remake of the sequel. I find it so ironic that these people played this game back in 2005 and loved it, then when they play it 20 years later, they don't like it because they've turned into whinier little bitches than they were 20 years ago...likely when most of them where children!
I kind of find the review at 4:20 interesting where they complain about America bashing and all that. Which to be fair yes certainly that's a thing but you spent all of the game and America. and in destroy all humans 2 you go around the world and all the countries you go to get made fun of all well. Which the person in this review seems to have played the og game so id guess he'd play the second game. Point being destroy all humans is a game series that bashes everyone. also clearly the game pissed off eh left leaning people as well as i guess right leaning as this guy. really guess to show how humor pisses off both sides of the spectrum. But boy there are going to be a lot of winy twitter users mad about crypto in the dah2 ramake.
Yea but those kind are gonna come after nearly everything. With this in mind their reviews aren't going to matter as 2 will still be very successful and likely lead to further remakes.
He talks about leftists doing horrible things when he does not even know about it. Leftists is about diversity, rightists is about racism. What is that supposed to mean? Obviously he doesnt clearly know anything about the game and complaining about America being bad. America was always bad and always wants to have bigger power than China and Russia which is why cold wars and bombings happened around the world despite claiming theyre "innocent" when 9/11 and Vietnam happened. Game franchise is and always been satirical about both sides and other countries. It is also being satirical about their movements with like Majestic 16 aka Illuminati organization in reality of parties united to go against their own people through power called Democracy.
Just want to say I right leaning person and loved destory all humans one and two heck I even spent the time 100 percent it so this person is just foolish
The only problem i got They removed music like the greenhorns - Patterns skies and and they changes the dialogue where can't see the cop on phone call where you get rid your alert level or NPC where scan them. I don't know why Black Forest removed it. Oh and the andy Griffith Cop car ( 1963 Ford Galaxie 4 dooe seden) was removed and replaced with a 1968 Dodge Coronet cop car in bay city
I dont understand people that go negative for remaster. We had the one.. This is the same game. Then im going a bit "Du uh". Remaster is usaly the same game, just update to graphics, texture, resolution and other small things. Its the same game. What are they expecting? Ive seen this for Saints Row the Third, (Not the reboot), Its a remaster, not a reboot. I was super happy for this and the other game. I love the old fashioned humor. Its on the edge, and that is what ive allways loved. All humor is good humor, until it get woke. Then i tend not to enjoy the humor or the game anymore. We have seen how those games are doing now days. Beeing hated. I do understand why to. Imagin if the humor was changed into to woke humor. You would have seen this game in a full dumpster fire by now. Going straight down with the Saints Row reboot from last week. Remember leisure suite larry, got a woke version few years ago. Everyone loves Larry.. Was a massive dumpster fire to. Tom and Jerry Vs Teletubbies. I will say this remaster was better then I expected at release. Was a nice suprise :) I hope we can see more games like this in the future.
No Gun Ri massacre was a real thing at the time of the Korean War where U.S Gi's Killed Civilians with artillery and small arms so I think that dude needs to read some history before he talks about revisionism, talk about Ironic.
The North killed civilians and prisoners, the South killed off suspected North sympathizers (those who didn’t flee from Kim Il Sung’s troops), China maltreated POWs and the US killed off hundreds of fleeing civilians. News flash, we are all terrible people.

Never "removed" them.
Just didnt include them.
This is a Remake.
Not a same game.
Not same PS2 version.
great video, really loving this video series
Funny thing is now with DAH2 there are crazy fps drops regardless of graphic settings and what device you run it on.
Love Destroy All Humans! Excellent video, man. The pacing of the video is on point. Keep it up!
Yes they are included
My favorite game
Lol. Saints Row 4...do those jocks know that the og Destroy all Humans! came out years before Saints Row 4?
I wanted to like the game if it wasn’t so badly optimized for pc i barely finished it
Great video 📹

The game is so much fun!
