Loved this video! Just geeking around nice pro stuff instead of calling us poor with the usual 15k bike reviews :) Also Anna van der Breggen became a world champion on a Ultegra specced bike, so there is that.
Superbe critique, intéressante et rafraîchissante ! Bravo, David, pour ta constance et ton style caractéristique qui ne ressemble pas à celui de tout le monde. Continuez comme ça!
nice to see the pro peloton adopting 28-30mm tyres. Hopefully the old-school people who comment on tyre width videos will finally shut up about 23-25mm tyres being more “pro” and aero, when the evidence says otherwise. Admittedly, the wider tyres do need wide rims to get maximum aero performance, but the days of 25mm tyres are at an end for just about everyone, including pro riders.
Hi David, random question, but I'd be really interested to see a review of the new Ribble Allroad SLR. Not even the top spec one, but something like the 105 Di2 model, as I feel this is the one most people would be likely to go for. Thanks!
Happy to see bikes weighing more than 6.8 kg. I always remember Andy Hampsten saying "The only thing worse than not having a super-light climbing bike going uphill...is HAVING one going down!" Glad I don't have to ride one!
That Cube… 🔥… that VR paint tho… 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Would love to see a Cube Agree review from your view!
The newmen wheels are also very lightweight, 1355g, 60/66 deep
Wow, the paint on those Roubaix Van Rysel's are amazing. WANT!
Fantastic looking bike - CUBE = possibly best value money can buy - DANKE and much love and appreciation from Germany 🙏🙏👏👏💙💙
Cube sounds very intriguing indeed but then you realize, they only commit to 2 years of warranty and they use more glue compared to other frames.
Want Cheap, get Cheap.
Cube has low quality frames.

Madone owner here. Very underrated bike and overlooked. Not sure why. Super comfy, good geometry, love the short wheelbase.
They’re all here in Calpe! Never seen so many before
The bad looks probably ;-)
Excellent Reviews!
Thank you kindly!
0:01 this is one of the best looking bikes. Including;
15:02
22:03 Awesome!!!
Happy to see Mavic back on some top end bikes
Loved this video! Just geeking around nice pro stuff instead of calling us poor with the usual 15k bike reviews :) Also Anna van der Breggen became a world champion on a Ultegra specced bike, so there is that.
Haha thanks 🙏
Those Van Rysel paint jobs were beautiful!
Very Cool. Very envious you were able to see such cool rides
Cube looking good there . Some nice amber wall tyres would look even better
Nice 😳one , DA🤘🏻. Giant colourway is sick❤

My god...those bikes are agressive!😮
Great video! Would be cool to detail bar width and crank length too, as these are really interesting topics in regards to racing positions currently
Great idea to do a January video from Calpe
Those Van Rysel bikes😍

Except for rim brake bikes
@@CA-ub6pf Yes, with exceptions. I always squeeze 28 or 20mm tyres in my rim brake modern(2019) carbon bikes, hehe.
Top Stuff Dave 👍👍
Great video ! I would be interested to know what crank size they are using . It seems like Visma riders are riding shorter cranks this season
Surprised the Van Rysel team doesn't use a top end groupset (unless it's a training bike only thing like the St-Michel team).
That paint job on the jayco giant is really nice, the purple to silver looks beautiful. Just needs a polished silver groupset (shimano take note!)
Going to Calpe first week in March! Dying with the flu at the moment so hopefully I’ll be able to train enough to get myself up those hills
CdR KOM incoming.
@ promise there will be no KOM from myself
Apparently the air is only 5w slower than the litening
Easily make up the difference and then some if they put the superior Continental GP5000S TR tires on them.
Calpe, great bike destination.
Please Review Cube Litening

Hi, I would love to review a Ribble but I've asked a few times, I'll try again though see what happens
The cadex tires 700x 30 mm tan walls🤝 never seen before where can I buy?
change the shutter angle on those indoor shots, mate, it'll solve that banding issue.
Yeah that’s a pal/ntsc issue but didn’t have time to change as was under pressure to film it pronto with a mechanic hovering behind me
Thought VR uses Suisse Side wheels
Thats the world tour team, these are the bikes used by the Van Rysej Roubaix conti team.

2:48 poor guy
The Cube is the best looking one. The Madone is just hideous with that silly zigzag although I'm a fan of Trek; I guess no more.
All lovely bike but i think i still wouldn't go out and buy a carbon bike
I snapped a rear stay on My cube lightening 2012 from just dropping it on the its side ill never buy another
I don't like all the labeling everywhere on these bikes.. Small logos for me... Ya i know first world problems
Modern bikes are FUGLY
Have you done an episode on the NEWMEN wheels brand before ???
I have not but maybe I should?
@ Of course , be the first !
The Jayco kit and bike are so gay.
