I basically have the same problem for the Storm sweater: very bright White drops merino.. i think i Will knit It and then block It in a bath full of black tea to get (hopefully) an Ivory colour❤
Wow! I admire your organization skills as well as your knitting skills! I love the slipover your are wearing... might try it in the same color. So eager to see all these beautiful projects on you.
Lovely episode! Both books looks amazing! I would love to knit the barbroe blouse and the darling wrap. As well as some warm colourwork mittens ❤ So excited for all wonderful patterns!
hi,Svenja! I liked this episode! Thank you for that! Love your grey vest you are wearing! Snaeldan wool is faroese island wool mixed with folkland island sheep wool, made in Faro islands. By ocassion, I have been yesterday there and bought 800gr of same 3 ply wool in baby blue 😊 Happy knitting!
I absolutely love your channel! After watching this video I don't know whether to thank you or curse you! I have just added 3 projects to my MUST KNIT list😯. Having just moved to coastal Maine with the weather getting chillier, I will say a big thank you as the projects you have inspired me to knit will keep me cozy and warm.
Hi Svenja! Thank you for all the inspiration. 🤗 I am excited for the Spur hat, will definitely try this one as I have exactly one ball of the recommended yarn Mondim. 😊 I love the texture of that yarn. Ozetta‘s autumn tale shawl is next on my list 😊.
Hello! I love your ideas; I like a similar style. I have made the Aros sweater twice, once as written, and also adapted to be a cardigan. And I am currently making the Eva cardigan. However, I am adding a steek so that it can be knit in the round. The downside to that is that I can’t try it on, but my gauge is spot on, so I’m not worried! I am using a natural colored recycled lambswool/cashmere held with a pinkish beige silk mohair, so soft and luxurious.
I love videos like this as I often find things to knit that I haven’t seen before. I am actively trying to find patterns for my stash yarns too, so I can relate.
I love this episode, and as usual, I am inspired by your knitting aesthetic. I still have the Brooklyn tweed shelter in Yellowstone from your recent de-stash and as a redhead I know it will become a staple in my wardrobe when I finally decide what to knit. My current projects include the Sophie Shawl, the Throwback Cardigan and a pair of everyday socks by Petite Knits. Thanks for taking the time to post your videos!
Morning! Loved your podcast, loved your knits! Also, love your white shirt….would you share details about it as I would love to purchase one too? Thank you!

Thank you so much!! A pair of mittens will likely end up making it onto my list as well :)

Yes that’s it!! Thanks for the explanation. It is potentially my favorite worsted weight yarn. Wish I had more access to it here in the US.

Haha you’re welcome! (I think? 😅) Glad you liked the pattern choices, good for our New England winters!

Ooh I am curious to see how that yarn knits up!

Ooh your Eva cardigan sounds beautiful!! Glad to hear the Aros is worth knitting, I think it may be my next cast-on.
Really great ideas❤ I want to make that Petiteknit vest!
You should, it’s so cozy and a pretty quick knit!

Inspiring as always!!!! Happy that yarn from the Faroe Islands got put to good use
It may be my favorite all time worsted weight yarn…
Maybe add a thread of mohair to Peer Gynt to give you a speckled effect for your Storm
That’s a great idea!
I’m also planning on using some Blue Sky Fibers Worsted for a cardigan. I can’t wait to see how yours turns out!
Such a great yarn, I’m so excited for it!

You are so welcome!
You inspired me. I bought Aros sweater pattern and are planning to knit one this season.
Yay!! Happy knitting!

That makes me so happy! Enjoy!
Yay!! Love the projects you chose! I'm excited to see them come to fruition :)
Thanks!! Hoping I get to make most of these!
Personally I wouldn't use drops air for cabling, I love blown yarn buts it just isn't durable. Love the video!
I agree, I’m not a fan of blown yarn either but love the look of it!
Perhaps this is what you are referring to: Cascade Yarns Llamerino, 50% Llama 50% Wool, 290yds (265m)/100g (3.5oz), Sport
By Cascade Yarns
Exactly! Thank you!
Morning! Loved your podcast, loved your knits! Also, love your white shirt….would you share details about it as I would love to purchase one too? Thank you!
It’s from Old Navy! It’s a scoop neck and available in different colors too ☺️
@@svenjaknits Thank you!
Do you remember where you bought that white top? I’ve been wanting one but so many shirts are too thin; not warm enough and too see through.
Old Navy! It's one of those waffle-stitched shirts so a bit thicker and warmer.
Fabulous! I’ve been thinking of going there soon anyways.
Can I have the name of Azalea sweater designer? I can't find it. You are a great inspiration! Thank you!
Giselle Ukardi. Here is the link to the pattern: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/azalea-16
Thank you for the link! Love this design, so beautiful. Just added it to my Ravelry que
Just found your podcast. Not the last time I will watch it 😊 br @nadiawind
