- This is the official trailer for patch 3.2: Call of the Crusade. The original description for the content featured in this patch is below. The full patch overview can be found here:
battle.net/wow/...
Since the opening of the Argent Tournament in northeastern Icecrown, adventurers have journeyed from across Azeroth and beyond to prove their worth in the heart of the Lich King's domain. Under thundering skies the tournament's participants hone the arts of war and face off in bone-shattering jousting matches to earn the right to be called champions. Yet these heroes have yet to face the greatest challenge of all: the Crusaders' Coliseum. Formidable Horde and Alliance champions, ferocious beasts, and Scourge lieutenants are just some of the opponents awaiting adventurers in this gladiatorial arena. Few will survive the coliseum's perils, but the Argent Crusade is confident that the worthy heroes who do emerge victorious will be ready to join the offensive against Icecrown Citadel and end the Lich King's reign of terror. - เกม
"Champions, you have defeated the creations of the titans, repelled burning legion invasions, defeated the spawn of Deathwing and elemental lords and even Old God's... but now, to prove your worth, you must now beat these random animals we wrangled up..."
This was before a lot of the things you mentioned
@@herdfootballfan2098 Onyxia and Neferion were spawns of Deathwing
@@Cliffvissers they we're his sons lol
You already beated yogg saron before this 😂

2:10 There's a bear with a parachute. Any arguments against this patch are to be immediately disregarded.
At 2:00 too
Oh yeah that's someone's mount.
Here I thought I'd need to point out what is clearly the best part of the trailer considering comments are just full of this being a bad patch, but it turns out this little fact is the top comment of what I'm seeing.
Not a single argument can be made against this patch when bear cavalry drops are a thing.

But I am in charge here
I'm probably the only one alive who considers this their favourite patch.
I never had much of a problem with the vehicle combat when it was released, I loved the concept of a tournament to prep us for Arthas, all of the bosses came to you instead of you having to fight through hordes of trash to get to them, and the secret raid boss was a fantastic idea!
Oh, and Isle of Conquest is my favourite PvP map. So maybe it's just that I'm insane, or maybe everyone else is overly picky.
Plus I always liked the aesthetic of the Argent Dawn and Argent Crusade. Shame you can't get the Argent Dawn tabard anymore...
***** I wholeheartedly agree with this. Though it was filler, it was filler worthy of our time, and I enjoyed it greatly.
+catalog343 patches are acctualy fillers
Dariox The reason it was my favourite patch is mostly because I love the concept of a tournament to determine strength and prepare you for the ultimate challenge. Plus I love the aesthetic of the Argent Dawn/Argent Crusade.
This ismy favourite patch too .. You earned my respect sir 💗
Crystal Lynx this was my fav patch. Idk y all these ppl are hatrinh on it 🤔
This patch was so good leading up to the end of the expansion.
Best raid ever, no trash mobs, the bosses come to you, with epic music ,and the Lich King makes an appearance. Best Raid Ever!
i dont know why people hated this raid (this ended up iin the top 5 worst raids of WoW in a video by popular vote) i personally enjoyed the setting and gnome
Kupo Grounds Easy, because yo NEED Trash mobs, at least for resting a whilen, and also looting trash which you can use for selling. Also, as the bosses come to you, the atmosphere of the raid is reduced and therefore there is the same stuff always, nothing new, or any boss you can avoid, or some sort of secret passage to use. Everything is very automatic in this one.
Kupo Grounds Because the arena wasn't really "thrilling", you lacked the exploration feeling that you should have in a raid, it was the same arena as the 5 man dungeon (except the underground part), it was way too easy (even the tributes "challenges") and the armor sets were the same for each armory type (like sunwell) and were not really good looking (there was no transmog back then).
Kupo Grounds who are these "people" you refer to? I have never met a single person who hated TOC.
I read somewhere that this sort of Raid was actually kinda of a experiement on the part of Blizzard to determine if players would actually like dungeons with little to no trash.
Although it was a 'bad' patch, it also gave us JARAXXUS , which I can forgive them for.
Taylan Ertan Indeed. But in one patch, we got a new battleground, a new raid, and a dungeon.
Now that would be interesting in WoD in the current situation.
Erad Strum Yup. I would pay to see a patch like this return in WoD.
Pedro Ramalho Figueirêdo Here, take my internetz!
EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! INFERNOOOO!!!
yeah I always liked that boss and faction champs were cool too although they were super hard for pugs at the time
'Worst patch ever'
'GG Blizzard'
'Bad patch'.
Still better than 6.1.
+RED Soldier right
+Ozisus Gerophius Manabuzz Warpwrench Worse than the "selfie Camera" patch? really??
Arguably worse still as it killed off ulduar early.
Still the beginning of the end, even though I too liked the patch.
The Coliseum was originally supposed to be in Crystalsong Forest, with the entirety of the zone dedicated to Coliseum-related content. But since Dalaran used to eat most people's framerates for breakfast and made the whole zone ill-suited for content, they had to move it into a cramped little space in a completely illogical location. I don't know if it would have improved the quality of the raid itself, but it couldn't have hurt.
"Requiring more cooperating nerds than the Space Program."
AND I LOVE IT!!
fAAAAAAKe!!! Horde never gets glaives in IoC
Max Haartman I was gonna point that out lol, and horde never wins that bg
@@ghs7750 play on Warmane wotlk private server, those guys are ready to prove you wrong lol
after cata, pandaria and draenor, this "bad patch" looks awesome & fun lol. YOU FACE JARAXXUS EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION!
Wilfred Fizzlebang attempted to summon an eredar demon and control it ( like how warlocks control felguards etc ) but the eredar's will ( and powers ) was too strong and killed the gnome
Sorry, even selfies were more fun than jousting.
everything before cata looks boring and tedious
that moment when you make great patch but everyone only remembers JARAXXUS, EREDAR LORD OF THE BURNING LEGION
I mostly watch this trailer for the music.
many years ago, we considered this a "bad" patch. look where we are now. any second thoughts on our previous statement?
Gameplay wise? Its alright but lore wise? This patch makes no sense at all.
I guess it was more of a filler patch than anything.
iDream yeah it's still bad
Still better than 6.1
It may have been the "worst" patch of WotLK, but it had the best music and it's better than anything in WoD.
How was it bad? 6.1, 5.1 and arguably 4.1 were definetely worse. Also WoD initial stage and all raids were flawless.
@@technokokos those aren't WotLK patches
@@CIAinTaiwanAndUkraine Yea lol. Must have been half asleep when I read that. But the WoD thing still stands.
why this is epic
reason: U FACE JARAXXUS
Didnt know about that but can you imagine how hard it is to do all of that stuff
This was a good raid, something unique and different then the typical "clear trash and kill boss" raid concept.
Wrath of the lich king
Better than 6.1 and 6.2 combined
one word: Arthas Fanboys. WoW's lore does'nt circle around the Lich King, the main antagonists are the Burning Legion (Sargeras) and the Old Gods (C'thun, Yogg-Saron, N'zoth, Y'shaarj, etc).
no matter how you feel about everything else, this patch let anub'arak actually be awesome. and that is good. still unhappy he was a level 62 dungeon boss. blegh
72
One of the worst patches ever made. This could've been the Azjol'Nerub raid T_T
It was a filler patch. To keep people into the game for arthas
76 trifling gnomes and counting.
Mists did an exceptional job at portraying the story of Pandaria and all of its history in a small quest zone and expansion. However, I didn't really like the theme of Pandaria in comparison. Sha? Feelings manifesting into shadow? Typical old god? Sorry, but from someone who has played growing up with Warcraft 1 my opinion is simply the Arthas storyline. Undead > whatever pussy shit Pandaria has lol.
Sad they took out the tribute runs for this raid
Best patch? 🤔 definitely top 5
Omfg this was THE shit. My god i had so fun with this patch. I miss it... very much
People who actually enjoyed patch
ME! (I loved it! Jousting is so fun!)
Many guys say .. aa i hate this raid its so simple and so small.Well i loved this raid. The voices the yells from the crowd the spirit of combat they were all wonderful
RIP Tirion Fordring.
who i see youtube recommend you to watch this again
Yeaaaah! Lets gooo!
I would have quit if that mounted combat became a maim fearure. Boring and annoying.
I LOVED THIS PATCH
So THIS is where the idea for the 4.3 trailer came from
It was going to be a full-blown underground questing zone like Deepholm was in Cataclysm but the idea was scrapped. Not sure why but you can still see many finished bits and pieces in the Azjol-Nerub dungeon, specifically during the bit where you jump all the way down.
Ghostcrawlers handiwork wasn't really evident until you get to Cataclysm.
it returns
God how I hated the faction champions encounter in the raid when I tried to solo trial of the crusader. You went up against FEAR, SILENCE, STUN, HEAL over and over again. Remember it could take me like half an hour to down enough people to finally make some progress. Thank god for pets.
I think "Arthas Fanboys" is two words actually sir. Where did I say lore circled around the Lich King? I'm just saying the way WotLK was played out just made the Arthas story more interesting. I personally don't give a fuck about old gods and burning legion.
Best watch of wow
1:06 i know you are thinking
i always love the bear with the parachute
aaaaaaaaaaand here we go again
@XomnusGames There was nothing wrong with this per say. If anything, I'd argue that Ulduar should have come after Call of the Crusade. It didn't get a chance to shine as much as it should have.
this patch doeant seem so bad now heh
Ulduar: Conservatory of Life
@xion7991 And there was so much lore in Naxx....oh noes, Lich king is awoken, go kill guys in Naxxramas.... on that subject, couldnt we of just bombed naxxramas to shit from the ground and then when naxxramas crashed, most of the guys in there would be dead.... done...... Anyways, 4.2 will add LORE behind the new raid, etc...After all this is the FIRST raid that they are adding to cata in 4.2 so u didnt give blizz time to add any patch lore to raids in cata yet
blizzard need to make something like this again but with around 7 bosses in total but wait! what? not 7 same bosses over and over! what??? why? ! No, All bosses in wow randomized every week! with all their old abilitys strenghts and weakness! please make one ! and you bring joy and memory back to veteran players ! and ofcourse challange!
@MehNameless Ulduar was one of the best raid instances ever... >.< Still loving it, the boss mechanis were brilliant, the style incredible.
@fluffyrofl So my guess is u quit WOW once cata came out.... cuz if 3.2 started getting HARD... then cata must be impossible for u!
IoC looks epic in this trailer :P
I hope all the people saying this was good are all trolls lol... Ulduar was so much better than this... ICC was better than this.
Wasn't around this time that the designer teams was changed and moved to Titan and Ghostcrawler took over?... Explains it right?
Patch 4.1/4.2/4.3 is better then this, 3.1 and 3.3 was amazing aswell.
I sadly did never enjoy 3.2
unlike most people I enjoyed tocg but this patch kind of sucked like a lot of wotlk
Seeing this makes me wish blizzard would make another tournament style raid
BLIZZARD DO ANOTHER PATCH LIKE THIS, I KNOW YOU HAVE BRAWLERS GUILD, BUT WE NEED ANOTHER PATCH LIKE THIS :p
Who will be strong enough?
goodie :P feel free, lovely patch. Unforgatable :P
Yeaah... I kind of um... soloed this.
The best Faction all the time
Love this raid.
Its really cool.
WotLK revolved around one villain, wich in my opinion sucked ass. Hated that expansion. Not just because i tought whole Lich King storylive was a complete bullshit, but the expansion was extremely easy, gameplay horrible, gearing up was easier than in late Cata, etc. And when it comes to lore IMO MoP is a middle finger to the previous ones, it's epic... PS: Last time we saw Arthas was the moment he merged with LK, don't get it how his storyline was appealing to you...
Such a disappointment of a patch. THIS PATCH was suppose to be the underground world of the Nerubians called Azjol'Nerub that they planned a long ass time ago. A complete zone that you could walk around with a complete quest hub and everything. I was so excited to be able to finally see the underground world of the Nerubians like that. But Blizzard half assed it and turned it into two split instances... such a waste
There is a thing called "Google." Just google Azjol'nerub Raid or something. you will find a wiki page on AN and there is tons of old forums discussions on MMOChamp.com about it. Even if they didn't state that they did it doesn't mean it is false. The AN raid got pushed aside the same as the Abyssal Maw raid in Cata.
Обожаю эту музыку, которая основной темой идёт. Ещё с оригинала помню её.
vanilla and tbc imo ...40 man raids... 25 .. were way harder back then
I absolutely hated this patch... they traded for a still-young Ulduar for this piece of crap. Instead of one the most beautifully designed, detailed and lore-rich instances ever created, I was pushed along by the crowd to this tiny repetitive circus camp for the rest of WoLK.
oh boy, they traded in the best raid in cosmetics, encounters, and progression (stages of the raid) for.... a giant tent. I loved Wrath, but this was definitely the most disappointing of the raids in it, when compared to Ulduar and ICC's sheer epicness
i wish blizard would do the same thing that jagex did and bring back oldschool servers.... then ppl who enjoy vanilla tbc wotlk or cata could play those so they wouldn't be forced to play mop. i sure as hell would play more if i could play wotlk again
@CybergamerT630 Most likey the Raid itself. Just about everyone (myself included) considers Trial of the Grand Crusader the low point of WoW Raids. On an ironic note Ulduar which immediately precedes ToGC is generally considered the high point.
@xion7991 Cho'gall was the first ever ogre to have obtained command over the nether... thus making him the first ever ogre mage. It slowly but surely corrupted him as he strove to delve deeper into the mysteries of the twilight. good enough lore for you?
Let me be honest, the only best thing about this raid is Jaraxxus. The rest of this patch content are bad, especially lore wise.
UGH, worst raid/dungeon ever. So ironic that this shit was right after Ulduar (best raid in the game for me). However, all Lich King xpac is WAY better than cata and Dragon Soul.
Firelands is pretty cool, yeah DS fucking sucks though.
I loved this part of WOTLK. Lots of memories there I loved the dailies and the whole area in a whole :(! R.I.P WOTLK.
It's time to answer the call again. Wotlk is 3 weeks away on classic.
And now it's time. The patch has arrived. 😂
I demand a quote from blizzard saying this was coming and not some ass hat taking rumor as fact, then blaming a company after the rumor being false.
@xion7991 what ur saying is just stupid. cho'gall's lore is linked with the old bosses so can hardly say the lore isnt as good imo
@LOSTKILLERDRAENEI Yeah totally agree, the music and idea of this patch is so epic, and this is how i imagine a good rpg should look like
ToC was a abomonation, it should've have never been deployed so fast after ulduar. Ulduar deserved atlest 2months more of room.

Yogg Saron was initially planned to be in Azjol Nerub, not Ulduar.
@doxi101 to world of warcraft Wrath of the Lich King he was a alliance in plague land and only alliance have this quest with he
A raid with no trash, fun and easy bosses and epic music. How can ppl hate Totc, its one of my favorite raids. Also the faction champions boss fight was awesome !!!
I think some hate it for the lack of varying "stuff" in the instance. It's just one large room, and Anub'arak's lair. Personally I don't care about that, as long as the fights are interesting and fun.
"fun and easy" If it's easy it isn't fun
Wrath of the lich king was the best expansion with the best raids thats why i still play it to this day at eternal wow raiding toc is fun along with all the other raids like icc
The patch that marked the beginning of the end...
-Spoiled the community.
-Instantly made Ulduar so irrelevant, that a tiny ammount of the playerbase finished it in it's prime.
-Made gear outscale so hard that heroics became faceroll.
-Introduced the idea of the best epics for minimal work. It was much easier than Ulduar, but offered much better gear. It was pretty much VoA 2.0, but VoA never made all the previous tiers irrelevant.
It was the patch that first tempted me into quitting for good.
1. elaborate
2. HOW?
3. that's how gear progression works.
+freezaplanet419
1. LFG and significantly easier content. More gear, better gear, less effort. Less effort, No teamwork. No teamwork, poor etiquette within the community. It caused a domino effect that culminated into the LFR.
Oh wait, I never had it on farm on an arbitrary difficulty mode, so I guess that makes my criticism invalid... /sarcasm
2. Back to point one. Easier gear for much less effort. After ToC launched and offered much better gear, EVERYONE dropped Ulduar. It was the first instance that disenchanted me from WoW. Nobody played the content for the content's sake. They dropped it for inferior content JUST because better loot was offered. The majority guilds never passed Mimiron and Freya, even fewer still got to see Yog and Algalon when they were current content.
ToC gear and higher made you outscale dungeons so hard it lead to chainpulling, and caused the "Wrathbaby Syndrome" at the beginning of Cataclysm.
3. VoA had it's place. It complemented gear progression, It never outpaced it. The first VoA boss HEPLED you get into Naxx 10/25, the second VoA boss HELPED you get into Ulduar 10. The third and fourth were ON PAR with ToC and ICC heroic gear. Making them feel like a redundant grind.
A lot of people were satisfied with the "Checklist" grinding, but it annoyed me to the point of unsubbing for a few months. I finally had enough when the heroic and raid nerfs in Cataclysm ruined all remaining challenge.
noobs assaulting the front gate with demos and putting glaives in turret range in Isle of Conquest. Seriously ...
Tirion is not alliance. He was exiled from the Alliance for siding with an Orc named Eitrigg that saved his life.
the only good thing from this shit patch was the music
@DeivisPelenis Why would you say that's funny it's a game mechanic and meant to be....have you even played WoW?
@dragoran Yes, because you did hard mode Ulduar and buffless ICC on hardmode correct?
Tbh it didn't suck balls, i did like the content, but Ulduar will always hold that special place in my heart :'(
Easy raids were not fun... And thats what WotLK was, a bunch of baby raids. Even DS was harded than those.
HE'S SUPER BEAR! A bear who can fly! All over the sky! Once you see him you will die! THE SUPER BEAR!
Sadly the trailer is better than the Raid itself...
I'm so glad blizz didn't make a habit of half assing tier to the level they did in this patch.
Because you can still play it and repeat dungeons, quests and events that may happen worldwide..
Still remember water walking raid as a shammy. Led to raid wipe, if you know what i mean... >:D
The only good things about this patch were Isle of Conquest and the Coliseum music. RIP Ulduar.
