Picked up my Bravia 8 months ago.... and have no complaints. Constantly went to Best Buy to see the A95L and the Bravia 8 side by side (or top to bottom as the display is). And just for my preference, The A95L was stunning (and slightly punchier).... just as the Bravia 8 was. But to me the Bravia 8 wasn't far off the mark, or to be more precise: The A95L for the size I wanted wasn't worth the additional cost that I was seeing in comparison to a similar sized Bravia 8. So then it was do I go with the smaller sized A95L just to say I have the best, or do I go with size I want with the Bravia 8..... went with the Bravia 8 and have no regrets nor complaints. Happy Holidays to you or yours Bri! 🤜🏾🤛🏻💯
@Samzep why? If that was the case, I could have also gone with the C4, but chose not to. I'm completely fine with the Bravia 8, and not once have I thought about needing nor regretting not getting something else.
@Samzep I'm pretty sure I never said anywhere that the Bravia 8 is the best. What I did say however is that I have no regrets and no complaints with the set that I chose to get. If you are a fan of the LG G4 then more power to you I hope that you enjoy it, same for anyone who has the A95L, or anyone who has the top tier Samsung, or the Panasonic that just released back into the states. You choose to set that is best for you and if you like it you keep it if you don't you send it back. As for me I enjoy the Bravia 8. To me it's kind of like the 900e of the Bravia line or their OLED'S, in the sense that it doesn't excel at one specific thing, but it does everything well.
@ its major disappointment brav 8 I have a90j 83 at one house love it and now at beach house need a tv and g4 and bravia 8 in Australia is same price lol would be stupid to get the bravia 8 over g4
The Bravia 8 is great. It's crazy so many reviews have been giving it back reviews when it is a noticeable improvement over the A80L and has better video processing and audio than the C4.
It happens every year with this series. The added hate was misguided, which is why I'm following up on it. It's very good especially the picture processing. Thank you for watching
I did the same choice. In completely dark or not too bright daylight conditions the picture quality is outstanding. Some say that brighter TVs may be too bright and disturbing when night arrives. There Bravia 8 is like fish in a water.
Love your content. Love how you show the tv in real world rather than just specs. My a90j died and had to claim on the sony warranty. They have accepted my tv is defective and always try to strive for like for like. They do not have a replacement a90j in stock but offered me a brand new bravia 8. Im gutted about my a90j and would of liked another a90j as I am loosing the heatsink. But in your experience will I be happy with the bravia 8 from the a90j? As I absolutely adored that tv. Thanks alot. Keep up the great honest content.
@christopherlewis3615 hi Chris! I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved A90J. The Bravia 8 is the accurate replacement. It is better in many ways. It's definitely brighter even though you lose the heat sink. The Bravia 8 also has better processing, especially upscaling. It also has better Dolby Vision implementation and much better gaming features. I hope this helps, and thank you so much for being here.
@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY that's put my mind at ease. I always said I'd keep hold of my A90J until it died and my heart sunk! I was worried at first, because I'd be going from the 90 series to a step down 80 series. But like for like in 2024, the bravia 9 wouldn't be like for like as it's mini led and the closest is the woled bravia 8. So I can see sony's point of view. It just got in my head a little because the A90j was the pinnacle of oled in 2021 and the reviews were amazing. The same can not be said with the bravia 8 on reviews with other channels saying its "ok" or a little disappointing and become a little controversial and missed out due to LG and Samsung catching up. But from watching your channel you explain in real time tv's battling it out side by side on how we would view them in real content trading blows. I'm rest assured I'm going to be happy with the replacement. The 80 series has finally hit or beaten the 90 series of the past in some ways it seems. Thank you for your feedback. It means alot. Have a great new year.
I’ve had this tv for about 3 weeks in 77inch and it’s mounted in a really bright room and it’s amazing don’t listen to the hype about not buying it if you have a bright room ! Actually priced matched with a lg 77 oled and at 4500 with geek squad warranty for 4 years it’s a no brainer all my 5 tvs are Sony
Awesome video Brian - I’m going to go B8. I love the form factor and most important as you said ‘set it and forget it’. Thanks for your great work and have a nice Thanksgiving Brian!
Ya Im at BB as we speak. I like the s90d picture but the fact its paper thin and flops around when you breath on it is horrible. I know some people like it but to me it just seems cheap and unfinished
Fantastique vidéo Brian's comme toujours tu pousses l'analyse trés loin , merci de redonner justice a ce Bravia 8 , hâte de voir ta prochaine vidéo comparative ,prends soins de toi mon amis 🙏

Hi! Just picked up my Bravia 8 for Black Friday! What is the best way to get the most out of it? Any settings I should play with? Where do you watch movies?
@@XiiA5Watching content on the standard setting is fine. If you stream higher quality videos from DIsney+, Apple TV+, Prime Amazon, they already will auto switch you to Dolby Vision for some shows. Not every show will do that. The standard setting for most basic HD movies is already good. The XR processor is able to adjust accordingly to picture setting
Did the hard reset, same issue unfortunately. I love the brightness and color saturation on this! I hope we can resolve it or have a replacement that functions differently. Sony always comes through so I have faith .
So call me weird, but I went to Best Buy and looked at both this and the A95L and to me this TV looks better. The A95L looked as if it wasn't quite as bright (although I know it is a brighter TV). Also the colors seemed to pop more on the Bravia 8, I think maybe due to the glossy screen. The A95L always seems to have slightly a purple tint to it no matter if I see it in person or in a video on TH-cam. I have a Bravia 9 and I love it, however I am missing certain aspects of an OLED. I think I may switch it up for a bit and move my Bravia 9 downstairs and get either the Bravia 8 or A95L for upstairs. I am however leaning to the Bravia 8, because to me it just looks better although might technically not be as bright. Decisions decisions... LOL Thoughts?
Just bought one tonight! We were deciding between the B7 and B8 because of your reviews and reviews by others. The family ultimately loved the B8's picture better. We can't wait till we pick it up tomorrow!
Im literally inside a BB right now with my B7 that I am exchanging for an OLED (likely a B8). The B7 is great and I got a good deal on it but the viewing angles urked me
@edithboozy1000 that and the reflections we saw were some of the deciding factors in going with the B8. I just hit mine home and am trying to mount it to the wall. Good luck with your exchange!
This is the best oled in terms of price to performance ratio. I had to return mine because the motion wasn’t quite as good as LG C series but man it’s an incredible TV. Reason why I’m concerned about the A95L actually so I’m going G4. But honestly that Bravia 8 is a damn sleeper and when everyone is talking about the Bravia 9 the 8 is where it’s at.

Hi, Thanks for the review, I have been back and forth on this or the LG G4. In the UK at the moment the G4 is £100 more expensive which isn't really very much, 55 inch version. I have heard the Bravia 8 is much darker and the G4 is the better option as they also offer 5 years screen warranty and are much brighter. The reason i haven't gone for the G4 yet is mainly due to the fact that i have had Sony TV's for years and have always liked the image. Currently looking to upgrade to an Oled from a Sony X90J. Thanks
Thanks for the review! I compared the Bravia 8 and the LG G4 myself in a store. While the environment was very bright i saw more reflections on the Sony. But the positioning in the shop was not optimal for both tvs. Both tvs were in their own demo mode. Personally - and it might sound strange to you - i liked the picture of the Bravia 8 a bit better. It looked sharper/clearer. The G4 was brighter. At that day i ordered a G4 65" because the price difference was only 180.00 € (Bravia 8: 1750.00 €; G4: 1930.00 €). But the company where i bought it could not deliver as promissed and the costumer service i contacted several times is a perfect example of cheekiness. So i cancelled my order and will wait what tvs will be announced next year on CES in January 2025. Seeing this video makes me believe that it was the right decision. Do you think that Sony will launch a new Version of the Bravia 8 in 2025? Best Greetings from Germany!
@drehkickjochen7460 excellent comment! The G4 is definitely the better TV! It has equal processing with the ALPHA 11. Better reflection handling, much brighter with MLA and superior gaming options. The Bravia 8 will have a successor but it's not the G4's direct competition. The A95L is which will also have a replacement but will be much more expensive. I hope all is well in Germany my friend
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Thanks for your reply! A replacement of the current A95L would be interesting. As you mentioned it will cost a first born, a kidney and likely over 4k € in 65". I dont know if the improvements are worth the price diffrence. Ill have to wait and see. I believe that a new version of the Bravia 8 - as formulated in this great review - would be the sweet spot between a mid and a top tier tv for a large buyer base. Like in the good old days when Mercedes offered non-AMG-Versions with V8 engines in an E or CLS-Class for costumers who wanted power paired with understatement. This feeling i get with the Bravia 8: Its overlooked (call it a sleeper"), has much to offer and is price-wise very interesting compared to a flagship tv. It does not reach the performance of an A95L (maybe its close to 80 to 90% in certain scenarios; what do you think?), but it is much cheaper. As you said, a C4 would be a competitor. Having seen a Bravia 8 and also a C4 in person and comparing the tvs overall (XR processor, sound, OS, build quality) i think that the Sony is more of a premium product. I hope that your channel continues to grow so we all can enjoy more of these fantastic and entertaining videos! Best greetings from Germany!
I don’t have an external streaming device to do any testing. But from what I can see, it’s worked for other people too. This was an engineer not a tech , I misspoke. I have already gone through two tiers of techs. Waiting for clarification tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll move forward with the new unit. I really want to love this TV. All my sound equipment is Sony and I don’t wanna lose my center sync if I go for Samsung or LG instead
@ well the update from today on Wednesday is I might hear something on Monday. one of the senior techs said that all of the visual issues are within their appropriate parameters, and it’s customer satisfaction issue because I had a different TV previously. I had an A80L , I don’t think it should be a downgrade to the new TV. The new TV should at least be somewhat better if not the same. I spent two hours on the phone with my Internet company. Everything is perfect. So it looks like I may get stuck with this TV. They’re trying to say that it’s just my opinion and I’m dissatisfied because it’s not the same as my previous TV. They’re kind of right. My previous TV was flawless and this one is flawed like crazy. I am so disappointed. I’m looking at Black Friday sales right now because I’m ready to just pick this one up and throw it in the garbage And start over. The liaison I’m working with is trying to push for an exchange with hopes that it’ll be a better panel or processor in this next one. Fingers crossed, but really disappointed with Sony right now.
@@robertconrad7521Sony's response to you is terrible, but I'm not surprised. May I suggest buying a streaming device from a retailer with a liberal return policy for under $25 to confirm the panel and other aspects of the TV work just fine? You could then return the streaming device. My Onn 4 K Pro ($50) helped me at least narrow down the issue to the built-in OS. As a bonus, it integrates nicely with the Bravia 8's remote.
Ideal settings for Dolby Vision HDR modes in Bravia 8: Dark: Brightness HDR Max, Contrast 92, Gamma -1, Gradation Preferred, Black Level 51, Black setting Low=Weak, Advanced Contrast Adjustment Off, Peak Luminance HDR High. This preset setting saturates and warms the image a little bit more while keeping Brightness level pretty high, not too far from brighter Bright preset. Bright: Brightness HDR Max, Contrast 90, Gamma 0, Gradation Preferred, Black Level 50, Black setting Off, Advanced Contrast Adjustment Off, Peak Luminance HDR Medium. This preset is the closest for factory intention of HDR reproduction in Bravia8.. Vivid: Brightness HDR Max, Contrast 89, Gamma -2, Brightness Preferred, Black Level 48, Black setting Low=Weak, Advanced Contrast Adjustment Off, Peak Luminance HDR Medium . This preset is the nicest looking preset for popping and flashy HDR without loosing the black. From recent reddit thread: "Does anybody have any picture settings for the Bravia 8?" See this thread for correct settings of other values in your preset modes.
I gotta say I love Sony TVs but the Bravia 8 77inch was $600 more the the 77inch s90d. I got the s90d for $2k no taxes since I bought my on base. I hope Samsung holds up well and provides a great picture.
When choosing between the Bravia 7 and Bravia 8, I really can't shake the feeling of uneasiness about OLED long term reliability. What has been your experience with image retention and other issues with OLEDs? Does it happen fast with a normal use? Do they tend to break earlier than other TVs?
I leave mine at Standard setting for everything. Depends on what you enjoy. I did try Professional for some TV shows from Disney for example, but found it too dim. Switched back to Standard. The XR processor is able to adjust accordingly

Excellent comment, my friend! It's a little too close to CES for me to check it out as Hisense will have the new version in Vegas. Have a great Thanksgiving!
Awesome video Bryan! I’m so torn between the Bravia 7 at 75 inches and the Bravia 8 at 77 inches! I love oled picture but the only thing stopping me from getting the Bravia 8 right now is brightness when watching sports do you think the Bravia 8 is bright enough to enjoy watching football one or twice a week? Other than that it’s just movies or normal tv watching! Wich tv would you go with? Thanks!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The Bravia 7 is excellent, but it's nearly impossible for a smaller mini led to beat an oled the same size, let alone one that is larger. 77" Oled no hesitation
Hi Brian, I have a room not much natural light and view mixed content and Netflix from 3.5 meters distance square on viewing angle. I can afford a 77in Bravia 8 or a 85in Bravia 7. Which would you recommend?
I need help deciding. Want a 83inch oled but not sure if i should wait for a bravia 8 if they make them later on in 83 or just go for the a80l. Any suggestions?
@LuisCastillo-r1p it's a tough call as there wasn't an 83" this year. The A80L at 83" is an incredible value. You may have an 83" QD-OLED next year from Sony but it will be triple the price. The A80L is amazing
Still got my 64 inch A80J from 2021 and I often get amazed with the picture quality. Upgrading to a 77 inch G4 next week cause the A95L just costs too much. Feel like I’m cheating on Sony
Ich habe den A89 Oled 65“ aus 2020 ich liebe diesen Tv. Sein Bild ist 👌🏻 und das Gerät sieht von der Seite und von hinten fantastisch aus. So schön dünn
Ambient pic mode is on bydefault and check the eco settings. In picture settings, you can also choose brightness preferred instead of gradation preferred
I missed live stream but wanted to say Brian if given no choice I’d want a 98 inch tv even if it was a Samsung crystal uhd. I felt like I was in the movie watching it at Best Buy. Like they r going to jump off the screen. I was blown away. Granted screen sharpness wasn’t as good as premium but it was almost good enough for me. But I hv a small room and can’t mount one but I don’t want to settle for less than an 85 inch but alas I’m stuck at 55” but at least have a decent C3. But size DOES matter. I was thinking a G4 65” would be good enough if I upgraded but I don’t think it’s immersive enough. Eventhouth the 97 inch G4 doesn’t hv MLA don’t let that stop u from getting it.
I completely understand, my friend! The immersion of these giant TVs can't be beat! They are also very affordable. You can see the Giant TV'S in my last BESTBUY video
This seems a mess according to Vincent’s review, several areas where it’s losing out to the competition which is not what you expect when you are paying more from a Sony. Shame as I was set to buy one until I looked more closely at it. PQ EOTF errors plus lack of settings for calibration, only decent smooth gradation. Looks like a g4 is a better buy.
Those are my sticking points - reduced calibration controls and S-shaped EOTF tracking. Why would they do that for their only new OLED model of 2024? I would get limiting those features on a model lower down the line, but not the OLED. The A80L or the C4 is the smarter buy this year at that level.
The Bravia 8 isn't meant to compete with the G4 it's direct competition is the C4. I won't try to change your mind in regards to anyone else's information. Just what I see in person against the best version of the A80L (which no else has to compare) and what I have gathered from Sony of Japan. Thank you for watching.
Bonjour les explications de Vincent ne sont pas claire car il es le seul a dire que le B8 n'a pas de processeur XR en plus il ne lit pas la notice Japonaise😅
@@vmal04 It still has bad PQ EOTF tracking and a lack of controls for calibration and only average gradation control, i.e. worse than the previous model
How much better is this over the lg b4 im a big sony fan but its a £800 difference in 65 inches here in the uk would i notice enough difference to warrant it?
With LG, you need to calibrate it. With Sony, you do not need to fiddle with calibration. Personally, I have owned an LG and Samsung before. Now that I am using the Bravia 8, I absolutely am satisfied with Sony’s signature look. Colours are just nice, rich enough, bright enough. Also has a 3D effect like Brian says.
The B4 is very good especially for the money. The Bravia has the top of the line processor. The processing that matches it from LG is on the G4. The C4 has a step down processor and the B4 a step below that. The B4 is a great choice if you want a larger oled. Head to head i go Bravia 8 over the B4. Thank you for watching
No issue with sunlight or a brightly lit room. The room I watch this TV in is always brightly lit. The TV is bright enough that I always lower the brightness level in fact.
Thank you for the great comment, my friend . As creators, we are all different, and I have clarification directly from Sony of Japan, and I simply didn't want people to miss out on an amazing TV. I'm so glad you are loving your new TV. Thank you so much for watching and for being here.
Thanks for the review Brian. If you have a choice between the 65" B8 and 65" S90D (price is not a factor), which one would you buy? I am not a gamer and mostly watch TH-cam, Netflix, Prime, and regular cable shows.
@FullHd2-h9s is B8 noticeably better for streaming? The B8 has sharper picture with better contrast but the colors are cooler (bluer) and less accurate, it is noticeably dimmer too.
@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY So if people have extended warranty and it needs replacing, what would it be replaced with for them 🤔 Also there's no TH-cam videos on things like this and more for us out there to know
Actually I think they are overlooked because Sony does not do as much marketing as brands like Samsung for example. When I go to the electronics store, I always see marketing from Samsung but never Sony. Sony is like this understated quiet high quality, and they let their quality sell instead of advertising. People who have used the Sony TV before, I think will generally still choose a Sony over say a Samsung and LG. I came from an LG, to Samsung, both LCD… to now the Bravia 8 OLED. It does not disappoint at all.
@@Tekhelet75 yes the big problem of Sony in Israel to is they don't have TV on the store to because it's expensive no one can don't put Sony in a store is the end of the year no good sale marketing is so sad of Sony in Israel 🤔😔

Yeah, it’s really driving me crazy. Supposedly one of the engineers at Sony is going to contact me on Monday or Tuesday to try to work with it. But I know it’s an issue with the TV. I’m sure Sony will get this taken care of. I’m not gonna drop Sony because I love their picture quality…normally. lol I’m sorry you’re dealing with this too because it is super annoying. I could watch any video on the A80L and it was sooooo smooth.
@ got a call today and the tech said the jitteriness is due to the wireless network. That’s total BS because my other TV works fine. This is hardwired in with ethernet. My A80L was smooth glass. I contacted my Internet company. Everything is fine and running beautifully. They’re gonna get back to me again because I challenged it. I may get stuck with this though and I’m not happy.
@@robertconrad7521 I'm not surprised that the first tier of Sony service would say this. You should fully expect, and insist, that the second tier dig deeper. Do you have a streaming device you could hook up and confirm no stuttering issues with that? If so, let them know. Also, add a speed test app and check what your speed is. Let the next tier know so Sony's service can move along to more realistic troubleshooting. Please continue to keep us posted.
@ my Internet speed is insanely fast. Everything is fine there. Have a brand new modem from two weeks ago. And my A80L operated on that perfectly. Also, my hisense U8N in the bedroom is smooth as glass.

Hi Brian. I just got a Bravia eight as a replacement TV for my A80L that was having audio issues. Have you noticed the skipping and kind of choppiness of watching videos like your demos from Jennifer or other ones on TH-cam? It’s really bad and it’s not my Internet because my other TV works fine. It’s hardwired in. I tried it with ethernet and just wireless same thing. I see other people online since I’ve researched it have the same issue. I’m just wondering if you ran into it as well. There were also many other visual issues going on during the first 24 hours of the TV being on. Large gray lines and dark areas on Godzilla. Really weird stuff. As always, thanks for the videos and for all the great information you provide.
It's sounds like a bad panel, my friend, especially the lines in Godzilla. I would hard reset the TV and perhaps try and get a replacement. Sorry my friend
I have the video stutter issue also while using the built in Google TV OS on my Bravia 8. It is particularly noticeable with movement or panning on sports and other programming shot with video cameras. Others on the AVS forum have experienced the same problem. There is no stutter while using external streaming devices. For me, it first happened immediately after a Sony software update that I installed after nearly three months of no issues. I replaced it with another Bravia 8. Before the software update on the replacement, no problem. After the update, the same stutter issue occurred. So, two Bravia 8's with the same issue. Very annoying and unwatchable through the built in Google TV OS.

If you enjoy movies, then Sony Bravia 8 will not disappoint. You do not need to fiddle around with calibration as Sony’s signature look is already very nice. With LG, you need to fiddle with calibration.
No my friend. The G4 is an MLA oled that competes directly with the A95L QD-OLED and S95D. The Bravia 8's direct competition is the LG C4 the Samsung S90D and Panasonic Z85A. Thank you for watching
All great choices, my friend! If you want 85", the 7 is excellent or the 83" A80L. The Bravia 8 maxes out at 77" and as good as it is, it can't overcome the size of the other two.

@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY The picture processing is what makes it stand out when I see it in stores.
@NyangoStarAmerica it's Sony’s signature, my friend .
Finally a concise and neutral review. Im now at ease with my choice to go with the bravia 8 thank you so much:)
I think you'll be very happy with it! Thank you so much for watching.
I did the same choice. In completely dark or not too bright daylight conditions the picture quality is outstanding. Some say that brighter TVs may be too bright and disturbing when night arrives. There Bravia 8 is like fish in a water.
As the saying got, you get what you pay for. I find a Sony Bravia 8 is the Ferrari of TVs the build quality is incredible.

Thanks
In my opinion the G4 is better as it has equal processing but a brighter image due to MLA. That said it you enjoy Sony's signature I'd grab it
Thanks for the review!
This feeling i get with the Bravia 8:
Its overlooked (call it a sleeper"), has much to offer and is price-wise very interesting compared to a flagship tv.
Good luck. I hope you get it fixed or the replacement. Thanks for continuing to keep us posted.
Ideal settings for Dolby Vision HDR modes in Bravia 8:
Dark: Brightness HDR Max, Contrast 92, Gamma -1, Gradation Preferred, Black Level 51, Black setting Low=Weak, Advanced Contrast Adjustment Off, Peak Luminance HDR High.

I've decided to go with this over the C4 and S90D. I'm predominantly a movie, streaming TV shows, and sports watcher, and don't game at all.

@LuisCastillo-r1p it's a tough call as there wasn't an 83" this year. The A80L at 83" is an incredible value. You may have an 83" QD-OLED next year from Sony but it will be triple the price. The A80L is amazing

I keep on seeing comments saying B8 is too dark. Should I get this or the B7?
The Bravia 8 is plenty bright although the Bravia 7 is a light cannon that's possibly better for really bright rooms.

I have Bravia 8. Seems dark. Any settings to brighten?
Now I understand why u r in the heavyweight division of TV’s lol.
@robbielynmccrary 💪💪💪

@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPYhi Brian! Can the Smooth Graduation option be added in a firmware update? That would be awesome. Thanks!
My kid broke my a80l a few days ago so i got an s90d thinking it would be better but its not. I wish i still had the Sony
So sorry to hear that my friend. Thank you for watching
Why is it not better?
What tier tv is this?
If ever you see any weird choppiness etc, just restart the TV.
It's sounds like a bad panel, my friend, especially the lines in Godzilla. I would hard reset the TV and perhaps try and get a replacement. Sorry my friend
Yeah, it sounds like it might be the case. Thanks, Brian.
@@Tekhelet75restarts do nothing to fix it, nor does a factory reset. Some of us received defective versions of the B8
I say it year after year, no excuses not to have full 4 hdmi 2.1 ports. That is another reason why Sony tv’s are looked over.
Understandable
I do not have any issue with this. My PS5, XBOX S and Nintendo Switch are all plugged in.
Dear Sony...🙏 please make a 83" QD-Oled with more brightness, More Hdmi 2.1 ports and 144hz... LG is too stubborn to go QD-OLED and is the reason why i lose sleep every night ....
LG don't own the right of the technology to have qd,oled Tech , it's owned by Samsung
@@bungalowtomcat1...I know this..LG is too focused on Strengthening their OLED Tech instead of implementing other Tech...Samsung has no problem using LG'S OLED Tech...Why is LG holding back on using Samsungs tech other than production cost..??
@Ginopinzon legality Reasons
@@bungalowtomcat1...Going back to my first comment...it's the reason why I ask Sony to give us a few more features
😅😅you may get your wish. LG isn't stubborn, my friend they have LG display and could never use Samsung display as it would literally sink its own company. They need to innovate. I'm guessing you'll get you wish of an 83" QD-OLED in 2025 at least from Samsung
Best buy specs say 4 2.1 hdmi. Glad I didn't but it
They do tend to mess up the specs at times. I hear ya on the two hdmi2.1. Thank you for watching
Is it better than a G4 oled ?
No.
Can anyone tell me if it is a better oled than lg g4?
Thank you
If you enjoy movies, then Sony Bravia 8 will not disappoint.
The quality of the video is only going to be as good as the device I am watching it on. 🤷
That goes for every piece of content you watch, my friend . Thank you for watching
Thanks for review, Brian! Look forward to comparison of 83” A80L and B8. I’m torn between those TVs and the 85” B7. What to do! 🤣
All great choices, my friend! If you want 85", the 7 is excellent or the 83" A80L. The Bravia 8 maxes out at 77" and as good as it is, it can't overcome the size of the other two.
I was talking to a Sony rep. at Best Buy and he was talking down the Bravia 8.
Let me guess. He suggested samsung instead
@@edithboozy1000 Actually Bravia 7.
I don’t think this is better than the s90d.
I do because the Bravia 8 supports Dolby Vision and DTS audio pass-through.
I think Bravia 8 is not flagship it's not most brightness Sony TV it is not most Sony details l TV and it's so expensive Bravia 7 mini LED more brightness and more detail and I think it's less expensive 😕🤔😴
I guess you watched Fomo's video 🤣it is the mini led and Flagship and is better than the Bravai 7. The local dimming is not close . I have the 75" and I've spent time with every size not just the little 65"
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Yes, I watch him because he's a human being, he's a professional, he does things, he checks things, and he shows you things that no one else does and no one else has reached his level. He doesn't just talk talk. I respect you, but it's not nice to talk dirty to others, especially since a human being is a professional.😬🤐
@mordimeshita1754 😅😅😅😅Fomo is my partner on this platform. You completely missed the joke in my comment about Fomo who is one of my closest friends. If you have resentment towards me you simply don't have to watch.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Encore un qui suit bien le film 😅
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY i know it and I respect you together
It’s over looked because it’s average at moment g4 is the same price and no comparison g4 much better
It's not meant to compete with the G4 it's meant to compete with the C4. Thanks for watching
One thing that kept me from buying this tv is one other popular honest reviewer claims that the colours on the a80l were more accurate than the bravia 8 side by side , so happy to hear you will be doing a side by side to get a second opinion on this
I wanted a B8 but on every side by side shots I saw with competitors (incuding in this video) I see a slight blue tint in the whites and crushed blacks.
I've watched them side by side for a week and they are very close. I'm also using the best version of the A80L.
