John Valk is an extremely knowledgeable Guide! He taught me how to fly fish many moons ago... I grew up on the Saugeen River in Southwestern Ontario and my parents operated a bed and breakfast catering to John and his guests. Great memories!

I built my own boat with plans and plywood. Took it out this morning as a matter of fact. Didn't catch a thing but it is the only way to get to some spots and it's just fun to troll around.

Knowing Bill, I'd be willing to bet that the glove is made of the same material as the net so it wont damage the fish. That being said I dont use a tailing glove, not do I recommend them

Ok fair enough this isn't for me using a Boat for advantage but I thought I would watch this an within the first minute i have to say i agree with all that you mentioned. Aslong you having fun what's the harm.
