Have you dumped the skateboard yet? As you've probably figured out, the skateboards aren't nearly as versatile as the Onewheel, as you can tell from this video. Every path/trail is perfectly flat.
There's enough spots on rough trails where I'm forced to pick up my Onewheel. Can't imagine how many times I would have had to pick up a skateboard.

Hey Andrew, it certainly would as the motors have open ports for ventilation so sand can definitely get stuck in there. If you know how to pull them apart and clean them then go for it but otherwise I would suggest staying clear of sand!
