I started following you a few years ago since you liked Angela Carter, Neil Gaiman and Haruki Murakami and I was like there are more readers like me out there!?!?!? You got me to start reading Murakami again after years since my last book and I am so happy. If I could recommend you a book I would recommend you The Gracekeepers that I’m reading right now. Ah and also I find it inspiring that you don’t haul or read an enormous amount of books, but rather buys the amount of books you have time to read and take your time to really engage in the books you do end up reading. I find that tempo and approach to be meaningful for my reading habits.
Baking tip* an amazing substitute for powder sugar for the glaze is coconut flour, trust me it’s delicious and way healthier than sugar, coconut flour + lil bit of lemon juice ❤️

The Ocean at the End of the Lane is one of my favourite books ever! I commeneted Pan's Labyrinth as one of my favourite movies and I love Neil Gaiman's books for the same reason I love this movie. You're really good at recommending.

I don't have a TBR (too much professional reading for many years to bother with that ;-) ), but I keep a list of "Potentially interesting books" to pick from when I'm looking for my next read. Hi Christy, if you can eat almonds I would add a bit to your baking, especially if you are making pancakes. I have celiac disease and therefore can not eat any gluten, but have not ventured too much into baking cakes yet... Do you have to eat completely gluten free? Have your doctor told you to? Just because if you are getting tested for celiac disease you have to eat gluten 3 months before having a blood test. If you are "only" intolerant I guess it's a little more difficult to find out exactly... But hope you find out 😊😊
I'm actually not a fan of talking animals except maybe birds but loving ratatouille was a contradiction of my character I guess. I do not like cats wither but I think I have faith in your taste. 😅

If you do another one of these, I'd love to put forth my favourite movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" if it helps, I really like the political thriller of it, I like more of the politics and the whole conspiracy to undermine a government. What I'm saying is I don't want a Tom Clancy or like a book written by a dude, but I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Christy - if you think you are gluten sensitive I would recommend you have a hair analysis.
Parasite is a terrible movie. Can't believe people are still obsessed with that movie.
Even if you don't like the story or agree with the social commentary, it's pretty well made!
