I think it is never stated that the boots are made of leather in the movie, they blending could be the same logic as to why his face can emote or why he can move his hands and blend his fingers, is just an alive mode thing, and regarding the toy mode thing, there are instances where we see his neck and wrist blend when they shouldn't, i think is just a liberty to visually convey a better feeling of flopping and articulation in the film, the same could be said about the boots. so I think in this case the boots being plastic or leather are both correct interpretations.

You do know that in "Toy Story 4" Woody has those white mark's on his arms due to him being a very old toy. This happened with Buzz too, except that some of his stickers is peeling off a little due to his age.

2 problem with gen 3 and gen 2 for some reason they gave him 9 squares which is only accurate to toy story 1 but the buttons are still places wrong to toy story 1 which makes gen 1 slughtly better he also has a good quality foam in his torso which gen 2 and 3 dont have

Hey man I just want to let you know you can actually remove the white thread from Woodys arms and legs.
I know this because I have done it with the Gen 1+2 Medicom Woody all you need is just a tiny sewing needle to loosen the thread to remove it.
And don’t worry it doesn’t open up the stitching or anything on his arms and legs when you take them off. 👍🏻

My gen 1 Medicom woody vest border kinda came off and there are some wear and tear. That’s why I put him back in his box and I haven’t touched him or opened him for a year and a half. I feel like the vest is made in a cheap material.

This is the most movie accuraye woody ever made from the tiy company but he is non-electronic he is a silent woody and it was made orginally in 2015!

the medicom for me had the neck separated from the body... is that normal? There is a visible gap just below the rubber piece of neck...

@todayigrewup it doesn't let me post a link to the picture but be careful I guess. The neck is just a piece of rubber that the head clamps onto. If you pull it up or just wobbles there... maybe mine is defective 😭😡. Gonna contact them

I feel like Seedstoys Woody Head is Movie accurate especially the material squishy Silicone Plastic especially when Bonnie’s Dad Step on in him In Toy Story 4 or when Jolly Chimp was banging him with his Cymbals in Toy Story 3 Preston’s Toy Shop Woody I feel like the eye pupils Are too big and I don’t like the fact it’s hard resin then again I understand it’s less money then seedstoys
