YHWH יהוה The Tetragrammaton: An Introduction to the Creator's Name

  • The Creator of all that is, was and ever will be is to be known for all times by the Name יהוה. This name is known amongst scholars as the Tetragrammaton and often displayed as YHWH or YHVH to represent the consonants equivalent to yod heh waw heh יהוה. We pronounce this name as Yahuwah (Ya huw'ah). This presentation is a very basic introduction into the 'Sacred Name' Shem Ha’Qodesh also known as the Shem Ha'mephorash. There is also a basic explanation for the phrase I am that I am in Hebrew אֶֽהְיֶה אֲשֶׁר אֶֽהְיֶה and it's relationship to the Tetragrammaton YHWH (YaHuWaH) .

    Shabbath Shalom Brother Mark,
    Great video on the true Name of our Most High YHWH. The accuracy of your teachings is so profound for the followers of this generation.
    Your dedication to the service that YHWH has called you to fulfill is wonderful and touches and teaches us all. YHWH has sent us all to you so that we may receive truth through true scriptural context. The explanation of the scriptures through Hebrew origins is a particular facet of your teachings I personally have learned from and use to this day in my studies and prayer. I am grateful that YHWH has put it on your heart to serve Him to teach us all in this manner. This is Ha Qodesh Ruach of Knowledge, Understanding and Wisdom.
    Continue to be the servant YHWH has called you to be and keep the teachings coming to His followers so that we may all grow in YHWH.
    See you on the next video. Shalom Brother!

    Praise be the Name YHWH! What a wonderful teaching! Thank you for speaking the TRUTH!
    One thing you kept on saying is that YHWH is the creator of all things. AMEN! That is so true. If you read in John chapter 1, it is the Son who created all things. Most of the references to YHWH in the books of the Law and prophets are referring to the Son YHWH who has the same Name as His Father YHWH who also goes by YAH.
    Who spoke from the Mercy Seat? YHWH. WHo spoke from the burning bush? who spoke to all of the prophets? YHWH who spoke to Abraham? YHWH. John 5:37 “And the Father who sent Me, He bore witness of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time nor seen His form.”
    From chapter 3 of Genesis to Revelation chapter 20, the focus should be on the Son interacting with us blades of grass. Yes the Father is referenced and some Psalms are in His voice, but when a human hears the words of YHWH, it is the Messiah speaking! AMEN! Praise be the Elohim! You may want to study this for yourself.
    Read these passages, who is speaking? Gen 26:5, Exo 19:5, Jer 7:23; 11:4 & 7, Deut 4:10; 26:16; 26:17; 30:2; 30:6; 30:8; 30:10
    Shalom unto you, my brother. Blessings to all who hear your words which are of the Father and of the Son.

    • @kevinkall8547
      @kevinkall8547 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Read the words of the Messiah commanding us to interpret Himself within the Torah and old writings:
      John 3:36 “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.”
      Why would He mention to obey the Son?? Why not say obey the Father or obey YHWH. He said, obey the Son. Obey the words of the Son who gave the Torah on top of the mount to Moses.
      This is why the first-day temple ppl fail as they think they should obey His words written in the books of the Gospel. Don't make this same false conclusion.
      Shalom.

I was led to him by the Ruach through Name Above All Names channel February of this year. That's how I learned our Creators name, and His son as Yahusha, hence I became a Natsari. An interesting note about the name "Mosheh" is that it is a borrowed word from Egypt. It does not come from a true primitive root. The Pharaoh I believe was the one of the Exodus, spelled Tutmose III by academia, actually has the same Egyptian name in his own name. Moshe
    The reason that matters, is people use Mosheh as an example of why the "hey" letter can make the "eh" sound... but it can't be used for that reason because they were trying to spell a borrowed word and thus it used an atypical pronunciation.

    • @messengerofthename
      @messengerofthename  3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      The name for Moses is verified as "Moshah" technically in "Babylonian pointing" vs the common "Tiberian pointing." It was most likely pronounced Mushah. I used both interchangeably in the video because I know there are people that do not know this. Thanks for the comment!

    Excellent research. Thank you. And love your zeal and passion for truth. Can be difficult to find accurate, unbiased, info about the Bible on TH-cam. Wondering if you believe that the Latin Pronunciation for God’s Son’s Name, Jesus, is incorrect altogether, and therefore should not be used, or it’s simply not as clean of a translation so you prefer to use other translations of his name.

      Sheila Boyer, Unfortunately you are mistaken as this man does not claim to be a rabbi but rather a Karaite. His pronounciation is flawed an 99% of Judaism acknowledges that. You never heard anyone in my video say Yahweh, we use the name Yahuwah.

    • @messengerofthename
      @messengerofthename  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The name Jesus is incorrect, it's not a matter of what I think on the subject as a simple dictionary will show that the full name Yahushua was simplified to Yeshua then to Greek Iesous then Latin Iesus finally German Jesus. No need to go through 5 languages to get to transliteration when we can do it straight from Hebrew. Thank you for your comment.

      Understand and agree with the historical data in your reply. Thank you! Honest question… aren’t we filled with a world that uses, and accepts as 100% accurate, translated words, including proper nouns, every day? My name is Nathan in English, Natan in Spanish and not sure what it is in Hebrew. BUT all considered 100% accurate.

    I don't understand why it is written YHWH when the H is a Het and E is a Hey. It should be YEWE or more correctly, IEFE. If we are properly converting Hebrew characters to Latin/Greek characters.

    Hey means to reveal. YHWH is not a name but a description of His name.
    Hand, Reveal, Ten Peg/Nail, Reveal. His name is Yeshua, YSWO. The
    description reveals His name and the hidden letters of Yeshua. Jesus said, If you have
    seen me, you have seen the Father.

      I have been teaching the meaning of hand behold nail behold for around 15 years. I know what it means but for you to come up with this theory you would have to deny the entire Hebrew "Old Testament." You are incorrect.

  • @justinbalint5314
    @justinbalint5314 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    These names aren’t correct .
    Native speakers pronounce names based off words from root word.
    If the messiahs name started with YAH then no one should be calling him YESHUA because clearly YAH isn’t in that name.
    Messiahs name originally is YEHOSHEA THEN MODERN FORM YEHOSHUA THEN SHORTER FORM YESHUA. And gods name NO ONE KNOWS.
    If it was YAHUWAH then it would be written like this: יהווה
    Yahuwah .
    God gave his name as יהוה and it derives from אהיה EHEYEH in English letters.
    His name would come from that word or words that describe what he is saying .
    Which is Hayah hoveh yiheyeh
    היה הווה יהיה
    Rabbis stopped pronouncing the name so it was lost.

    • @messengerofthename
      @messengerofthename  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yet Dr. Mordechai Max Reisel who was a Rabbi wrote the book, the Mysterious Name of YHWH and in it stated that the name was pronounced in ancient times as Yahuwah. I suppose you are more learned than he was. I also know others that have graduated from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem who have openly admitted Yahuwah is the most accurate form. Of course I have plenty of information here but you know all I suppose because you come here with only pieces of information.

    • @justinbalint5314
      @justinbalint5314 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@messengerofthename I’m going off what is written in ANCIENT TEXTS , and that has been translated not to mention im around a lot of israelis who actually speak REAL HEBREW not this made up stuff people think like YAHUAH or yahawah or yahawashi yahuwah you say any of those made up words to a native born Israeli they won’t even know what your talking about.
      This man your talking about you just dropped a name like he is more right than anyone else in this world which I’m not gonna go off an English translator who studied and feels he knows better than the native borns yeah right.
      Now I’m going to school you on the Hebrew letters and the language if that was his name
      YAHUWAH THEN IT WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS
      יהווה
      but clearly gods name is written like this יהוה.
      Yahu =יהו. Wah =וה so your saying it’s יהווה when you Combine both of those together but there is only 1 VAV in his name not two and it’s not even a W but a V I’ve studied BIBLICAL HEBREW AND THERE NEVER WAS A W.
      VaV has 3 sounds V/O/U it cannot take more than one sound at a time .
      Also YEHOSHEA which modern form YEHOSHUA then YESHUA starts with YEH so his father also starts with YeH they both Carry the first 3 letters in their name יהו and he comes in his fathers name and literal name.
      Elohim has told many people in the scripture my name will be in your name not one of them start with YAH it’s always YEH and YaH is at the end of the name not at the beginning.
      Yehudah = יהודה one Vav one sound
      Yahuwah = יהווה two Vav’s ? Two sounds
      Elohim didn’t make it that way .

    • @messengerofthename
      @messengerofthename  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@justinbalint5314 Yes my research is also based upon ancient manuscripts. What you are saying here lacks transparency or truth. For instance I would never endorse "Yahavah" yet it is endorsed by many Israelis who practice the Kabbalah, often they will say Havayah so as not to speak it. Also I am obviously around many native Hebrew speakers as well and can verify to you that I know orthodox Jews that agree that the most ancient pronunciation is in fact YaHuWaH. When you say the "vav" is original I invite you attempt at disproving the this video th-cam.com/video/kOdFrB_LiTY/w-d-xo.html (which is my teaching) of course Yemenite and Moroccan Jews along with others still vocalize waw. Also you claim that the waw in the name YaHuWaH is somehow making two sounds yet clearly it is a dipthong. Any good concordance will write Eliyahu with a pronunciation guide of Eliyahuw. I also would never endorse the name "Yehovah" but at least one popular Jew does endorse such a name where clearly the "vav" in this case makes both o and v sound which is literally two different sounds and not a dipthong in any way. Dr. Max Mordechai Reisel was a Torah scholar, he had access to the same evidence you do and as an orthodox Jew he stated that the most ancient name was pronounced either Yehuwah or Yahuwah. You claim what I speak is not real Hebrew yet I have learned from Orthodox Jews. Perhaps don't be so arrogant. If you want to dialogue I am happy to make myself available to you. The Jews of Elephantine Egypt used Yahu or Yaho. The Greek Septuagint often contains Iao or Iaou. I could go on and on as to why your claim is lacking. Tell us what do you call him then? Yahweh? Yahveh? Yehovah? If the later it will never hold against severe scrutiny. If you endorse Yehovah I invite you watch this presentation th-cam.com/video/d9RQmfNK-rk/w-d-xo.html (which is mine) and you will definitely need a pen and paper especially when it gets closer to the end and deals with Hebrew Grammar. With all going on in the world today I definitely have no intention to fight with you or debate with you but I am totally willing to dialogue. Shalom.
