Thank you so much for your explanations! The Lord led me to start studying just Psalm 119 for my devotions, which opened my eyes to the actual depths of the Hebrew aleph bet and as I have finished reading it through I want to understand more from the Hebrew perspective. It's fascinating. I'm literally at the tip of the iceberg but G-d's Word is SO fascinating and so eternal!

Thank you so much for a fantastic and consistent breakdown of the text from the Old Testament to the New. I also really appreciated the extra Biblical text that gave insight into the usage and mindset of the people at the time much of this is being written. It was also very interesting to see the theory towards the end on how the name of Jesus could have been used as a proxy for the divine name of God. At about time index th-cam.com/video/vHAq8Svkxsw/w-d-xo.html you even reference how in Sanskrit we can see a similar thing. Which kind of reminds me of how in English / German the "J" sound was used in place of "Y" and you get things like Jehovah, John, Jeremiah instead of Yehovah, Yohan, Yeremiah, etc.Thank you so much for your time and efforts. May the people of God and the world be blessed by more videos like this.

the name YaHH /יהּ or YaH/יה is said to be the contracted form of the tetragrammaton YHWH/יהוה but from some research done on the hexadecimal roots it would seem that it derives from the root YWH יוהּ and not from the root hawah הוה/Hayah הָיָה . Indeed YaH is the form of the perfect qal/qatal 3psm of the root YWH/יוהּ and of the present participle Qal . If the name YaHH יהּ/YaH יה is the noun with which we refer to YHWH we have that in the imperfect qal form 3psm the form יָיוּהַּ , so the name according to the qal of the root YWH should be pronounced יָהוּהַּ . If instead it were the causative hifil form of the same root we would have יָיִיהַּ/יָהִוהַּ while the active intensive Piel form would be יֵיוֹהַהּ/יֵהוַֹהּ . In the infinitive form Piel Infinito we have יַהְיֵהַּ which would give the form יַהְוֵהַּ , in the infinitive active qal form we have יוֹהַּ and would give the form יהוֹהַּ . In conclusion I believe that YaH יהּ comes from the root YWH יוהּ and leads us to the active imperf qal 3psm form. יָיוּהַּ/Yayuha/Yayuah; causative 3psm active imperf .יָיִיהַּ/ Yayiyha/Yayiyah; Piel active form יְיוֹהַהּ . note the similarity of the Masoretic form יְהוָֹה YeHoVaH with the Piel form יְיוֹהַהּ YeyohaH.
The name YaHH-יהּ/YaH-יה is not the contracted form of YHWH but of YaywuaH יָיוּהַּ.
But what does יוֹהַּ /yoha/yoah mean?

I might suggest that the 'heh' in YHVH was replaced with 'shin' was its because it was Yeshuah who was 'crushed' by this letter 'shin' which represents 'teeth' as if has gone through a cutting or grinding or being devoured by something. And we know who has suffered and crucified in the hands of sinners it's not the Father but His Son. It was the Son who was also consumed by His zeal for the house of God. Whereas the letter 'heh' represents the Spirit of the Father's person whom no one has seen and is to be revealed only through His Son.

If HaShem and Yahusha are one and the same? Then what about Ruach ha kodesh?
What about the trinity doctrinw that all churches are preaching?
I too believe there is only one HaShem, but there are verses that confuse me. For example, when Yahusha prayed to the Father was He praying to Himself?

Threnglish translation of YESHUAH is joshuah not Jesus. Jesus is a bad translation of the Greek Iesus or Latin Iesous because they did not have an equivalent consonant for sh or vowel for Utah. Why not just use the Hebrew name YESHUAH the name given to our saviour at birth since it means YEHOVAH saves or is our saviour. It would make sharing the gospel so much better.

    Alahim - alef-lamed-hay-yod-mem: root: ALAH, H426.
This is not a NAME, it's a pronoun.
Yahuah - yod-hay-uau-hay (four vowels), H3068, the personal Name of our Creator, expunged by translators' own admission in their Prefaces. Yahuah told us His Name 6,823 times in the TaNaK, just look at an interlinear translation of YashaYahu ("Isaiah") 42:8 for the proof.
The Name of our Deliverer: YAHUSHA, H3091, is the Name Yahuah with the suffix, SHA, meaning "deliverer."
Yahuah is Yahusha; He is ONE.
The Ruach ha Qodesh shed His own blood to purchase us (Acts 20:28).

WARNING: This ESV translation is INCORRECT. Yeshua did NOT say "Keep them in Your name which You have given me", BUT Yeshua said, "Holy Father, keep through Your own name THOSE whom You have given me, that they may be one as we are." KJV
THIS IS THE TRUE TRANSLATION. YESHUA WAS SPEAKING OF HIS "DISCIPLES" WHOM GOD HAD GIVEN TO HIM, HE WAS "NOT" SAYING GOD GAVE HIS OWN NAME TO YESHUA, NO, HE WAS REFERRING TO HIS DISCIPLES WHOM THE FATHER HAD GIVEN TO HIM. YOU ARE IN GREAT ERROR!!
The name Yeshua, which is the short form of the name Yehoshua, literally means "Yah is salvation", this is what Yeshua's name means, that God the Father is our salvation because HE sent Yeshua to die for us. So our salvation (Yeshua) is through God the Father who sent him. Why is it important to understand this? Because when we understand that the Father sent us salvation we understand that grace AND truth is the essence of God's Law and that no man will enter heaven who willfully continues to transgress God's holy Law. Everyone washed in the blood of Yeshua (by the grace of God) must be born again into righteousness (the Law of God), which is to walk in the Father's commandments and to guard them. We walk just as Yeshua walked, and that is how we become one with God, through obedience to His Law. This is what John the Baptist was clarifying when he said grace AND truth came by Yeshua Messiah. In other words Moses gave the Law but Moses could not give us grace because God gives us that only through His Son who is our salvation.
This is what John chapter 17 teaches us. The ESV translation you are using is flawed and misleading. God never said He gave Yeshua His own name, God said He gave His Son the name Yehoshua, which means "Yah is salvation" (for he shall save his people from their sins) and this God did so that we would know that God the Father loved us so much that "He gave His only begotten Son to die for us" "so that we might become the righteousness of God in him", in other words so that we may be made holy.
"Fear God and keep His commandments, for THIS is the whole duty of man...." Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
"For the Law was given by Moses, but grace AND truth came by Yeshua Messiah." John 1:17 KJV
"And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of GRACE AND TRUTH." JOHN 1:14
"Sanctify them through YOUR truth, YOUR WORD is truth." John 17:17
"Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and YOUR Law is the truth." Psalm 119:142
Obedience is what God requires. The Father gave His Son so that we may die to ourself and be born again into righteousness which is walking in God's truth, His commandments. Yeshua's holy Spirit in us enables us to walk in harmony with His holiness. If however, after believing we begin to disagree with God's holy Law, and to decide not to obey it, then we grieve away the Holy Spirit and we are no longer one with God. "Can two walk together except they be agreed?" Amos 3:3
We must agree with God that the commandments He gave us are true and right and they are the way of life and that doing His commandments is our righteousness..."And it shall be OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS if we observe to do all these commandments before YHWH our God, as He has commanded us." Deuteronomy 6:25
When a man reaches the place that he understands that the Bible is ONE word and that every book of the Bible teaches the exact same thing, than that man understands that the Way of Life is God's commandments. Yeshua is the word of God put into a flesh body, He is the commandments of God...the law of sacrifice, the law of mercy, the law of purity, the law of honesty and integrity, the law of faithfulness, the law of justice, the law of love.
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not do the truth. But IF we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Yeshua Messiah, His Son, cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:5-7
IF we walk in the light. "Your word is a LAMP to my feet and a LIGHT to my path." Psalm 119:105
"For the COMMANDMENT is a LAMP and the LAW is LIGHT and reproofs of instruction are the WAY of LIFE." Proverbs 6:23
"I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE..." John 14:6
"Sanctify them through Your TRUTH, Your LAW is the TRUTH." JOHN 17:17
    Shalom

I am greek and you have no credentials to teach. are adding to tye word placing a name where tge word elohim is plural and it applies to the dieties/GODS a pantheon the assembly of angels. The word Xristos translates as master, noy lord. Lord called by applied to governors and rulers. Father is one of a kind , the son is one of a kind, he s the only begotten these three are united as one. It was the 3l9him that created man 8n their image. You need to catch up

Wow you insult the father by assumin he can will leave space his abode is an expanding infinite universe, also dwells in unapproachable light. The most powerful mind who caused all life, will visit one of his planets to appear as a puny man. Wow the god yhwh is not the father, but elohim gods.

Its like in kabbalah ,the Ein Sof has no name , the name Yud - Hé - Waw - Hé is a name given to his 10 emanations all in one.
    Yud : Chochmah
    He : Binah
    Waw : Zeir Anpin
    He : Malchut.
YHWH is not the Ein sof rather the visible manifestation of the Ein Sof.
The infinite being manifests himself through his emanation known as YHWH who is nothing but Metatron sar ha panim.
Metatron is YHWH,the combination of the 10 sefirot.

I like the way you explain the names. Would it be possible to have videos where you explain the names Jesus used to describe his attributes throughout the gospels? For example: I'm the bread of life. I mean from a Hebrew language perspective.

Jesus = Joshua. "NT days" don't supercede the Divine Name.

Please help me understand. I no longer say Jesus. (There was no J.). It should be the same as Joshua, or Yoshuah.
Are you saying Jesus is His divine given name?
