The way Smelly optimizes the pauses and slowdowns so they serve a musical purpose while allowing him to get some rest and get momentum for when the fast double tempo kicks in again... That's musical intelligence

Dude, I don't blame you for going off time at certain points, the song is insanely fast, and any drummer who attempts it deserves props. Also all the tempo changes are tough. I'm not a great drummer myself, and I don't know if I'll ever get that good. I have a new respect for Smelly, he has to play those beats every day on tour, and I know 18 minutes is a long time, but he has to play for an hour +. But good job man, that was a hell of an achievement!

Fast is only good when it makes sense... And "The Decline" is something I'd love to share with my kids.... They love "USA-Holes", they always want to hear the "Titanic Song"... Yeah, I'm putting my kids on NOFX early...

Awesome cover. As someone trying to play this song, the techniques to play these beats for long periods of time takes a lot of practice an effort. You get tired really fast. Good show man.
