Great haul, Rose. I went to one store. They only had bulky yarns left. I did not buy any. So, there is no HL clearance yarn this year. I am not sad because I went to the Herrschners' annual clearance sale and hit the jackpot. My friends and I drove from Indy to Steven Point just for the sale. We scored all the yarns we wanted clearance and regular prices. 😊

Great haul, Rose. My local hobby lobby didn't have the yarn clearance yet, but I did find some at a store in Indiana. I didn't get much since it was pretty picked over. I did get a lot of buttons 😅 I did find some Caron cakes on clearance at michaels..they had a lot of them😊

Hi Rose and Carrots, I went to hobby lobby on Saturday. One of the stores has their yarn on clearance and the other one didn't. I was happy to get what I could from the 1st store. Mostly all acrylic. All the cotton wheels were gone. I probably won't get any more yarn till next year. I have plenty to use at home. I didn't get any last year.

Rose I did the same thing as the nice lady was marking down. She was super awesome and we chatted the entire time. She also went through every yarn with me that was going to be clearance and skipped to the yarns I wanted. I bought her some yarn as a thank you!❤. Also I got some of the same things you did!

So……I went to my local Hobby Lobby and they were only up to ribbons in the sewing department and had not hit yarn, but I checked out buttons and took in a real stash of pretty buttons (of course bought on speck, as I know I will probably not use them all, but they were so discounted I just love being able to shop my stash!) 😂

I missed most of the HL clearance stuff this year, but I got a couple of nice yarns including what was left of Glowing in 3 different colorways (only 10 skeins total, so they'll probably end up accenting solid color projects...). Ppl need to learn to behave themselves and not be rude to others who lucked into getting there first. I was disappointed both this year and last, but that's just the way it goes sometimes. In my experience with the hobby lobby clearance sales, They clarence by demographics. I know this to be true because I've gone to hobby.Lobby's in my area and one may have a particular yarn clearanced or a particular Color of yarn and the other store near me won't have that clearanced at all. It just seemed to clearance whatever doesn't sell well at that particular store. I hope i'm explaining myself clearly lol. ❤yay rah For all? Of the people who go to the sale!
I purchased 2 boxer puppies October last year I have not purchased any yarn since then I haven't been able to crochet since I got the puppies they are very hard to train together and they are always together when you try to train to do something the other puppy is right there trying to play I still haven't been able to train them to walk on a leash yet they are 9 months old now and have never been on a walk never heard of littermate sedrum till I got them and they some what have it the only time they are ok without each other is at bed time so I'm trying really hard not to go to hobby lobby the dogs have to be put in their on crates when no ones at home hoping things get better soon with the dogs because I miss crocheting so much it helps me relax but right that's impossible

So……I went to my local Hobby Lobby and they were only up to ribbons in the sewing department and had not hit yarn, but I checked out buttons and took in a real stash of pretty buttons (of course bought on speck, as I know I will probably not use them all, but they were so discounted I just love being able to shop my stash!) 😂

I missed most of the HL clearance stuff this year, but I got a couple of nice yarns including what was left of Glowing in 3 different colorways (only 10 skeins total, so they'll probably end up accenting solid color projects...).
Ppl need to learn to behave themselves and not be rude to others who lucked into getting there first.
I was disappointed both this year and last, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

A friend and I just ran to the Hobby Lobby in Gurnee Mills. No yarn on clearance. And the employees we asked about it was “slightly” rude.

I hope that none of my comments have ever been taken as judgmental Because I certainly don't mean that way. I know my yarn.Stash is bigger than some peoples.And smaller than others but people can do whatever they like as long as it's not hurting anyone else. I really like seeing what everyone is buying.
In my experience with the hobby lobby clearance sales, They clarence by demographics. I know this to be true because I've gone to hobby.Lobby's in my area and one may have a particular yarn clearanced or a particular Color of yarn and the other store near me won't have that clearanced at all. It just seemed to clearance whatever doesn't sell well at that particular store. I hope i'm explaining myself clearly lol.

I purchased 2 boxer puppies October last year I have not purchased any yarn since then I haven't been able to crochet since I got the puppies they are very hard to train together and they are always together when you try to train to do something the other puppy is right there trying to play I still haven't been able to train them to walk on a leash yet they are 9 months old now and have never been on a walk never heard of littermate sedrum till I got them and they some what have it the only time they are ok without each other is at bed time so I'm trying really hard not to go to hobby lobby the dogs have to be put in their on crates when no ones at home hoping things get better soon with the dogs because I miss crocheting so much it helps me relax but right that's impossible
