This is literally God talking to my heart through you. I can get easily preoccupied and distracted by some cares of this life; and sometimes I think it's justified because it's a good thing like eating healthy or taking care of my hair and I take it above and beyond but afterwards I feel so dissatisfied 😢 I feel guilty that I expended so much time and energy on something vane; I'm done with these inclinations, I'm sooo tired of it. It makes me feel so empty now. 😭
God is so good! Yes, I know the feeling. Everything in moderation. Starting your day with God helps a lot to just center you and keep Him on your mind. We all get into this... the devil know distraction is an easy route to drift...but God always pulls you back in because He loves you. Thank you for sharing!

100% something I’ve been working through. Coveting others things. I love fashion, beauty and the like so a ton of hauls and must haves for the season. I can’t afford to shop in this season so it was discouraging. But GOD was showing me how I need to keep my eyes on him although I don’t have “material” now. There’s so much to be enjoyed in this season. Thanks for the content.
