he could've given some arbitrarily large dimensions, then when they were obviously inconvenient he couldve said "oh no ig youre gonna have to send me your address and $50"

For those curious, 30 Billion Dollars in $100 notes is roughly 300 metric tons. Assuming that a passager car can carry roughly 500kg, approximately 600 cars would be required.

For those in the west, a metric ton is 2,204.62 lbs. So this "big package" is going to weigh around 661,386 lbs. And it's apparently just sitting in someone's California house waiting for the right beneficiary. 😉

I was expecting for you to make a Davis Bon Scambaiting mailbox and say something like "I just got revived! Btw the Box Measurements are ____ and the girth is _____"
Considering the fact that one $100 bill weighs one gram. We can assume a billion dollars in $100 bills would weigh roughly 10 tons.
So 30 billion would weigh approximately 300 tons.

@@AtomicShrimpI know I’m late to the story, but we could make the box pretty thin if girth is the issue. The width of a 100 dollar bill is 2.61 inches, so if we made stacks of 100 million bills and then line them up, you would end up with a box that’s 430 thousand inches tall but still only 2.61 inches wide. Considering the length of the bill is 6.41 inches, you would have a 19 230 000 000 inches long box. Of course it might vary due to the thickness of the box walls (in case they use a wooden crate, you’re looking at a couple inches more. I can’t imagine a cardboard box being able to support 300 tons of bills).

I work in retail and today that knowledge was crucial in preventing two different individuals from purchasing Steam gift cards for their supposed out-of-state “girlfriends”. Your efforts to inform and spread awareness are making a real impact and I appreciate it greatly.

i think it's EXTREMELY funny that this scammer was so tunnel-visioned in on "send money plz" that they didn't even bother making up a random number or just spouting something out. all of that back and forth could have been eliminated if they'd just come up with a number. but i guess scammers are too lazy even to do that...

Such a box, containing 300 million 100 Dollar bills, would weigh 300 tonnes and would have a volume of 340 cubic metres, or around four and a half shipping containers. I doubt that 100 dollars would be enough for shipping.
A U.S. gov’t site states that each banknote weighs ~1 gram. Assuming the box contains $100 United State dollar bills (the largest denomination still actively printed), that would put the box at 300,000 kg (or 661387 lbs).
For reference, that’s heavier than the Statue of Liberty.
Am I the only one that appreciates the fact that Mr. Shrimp used the same text font from the film Evil Dead for the thumbnail of this video?
Oh, and a weird fact too, in Evil Dead Hail to the King, if you finished off a deadite in that video game, Ash would sometimes say "Say hi to Davis Bon for me". Is it just a coincidence that there was just some character that was also named Davis Bon, or is it perhaps the Necronomicon that is keeping him stay dead?

The saga of Davis Bon has been such a fascinating one, even in comparison to normal scams.
I’m plenty used to them stealing from headlines, whether it’s the death of a celebrity or a war going on or an election or a disease in 2020 or who-knows-what-which makes complete sense, to the unprepared victim it adds a degree of authenticity that might be what tricks them. But… the world-famous Davis Bon? What do they have to gain by claiming a major tragedy involving someone with no trace of existence?
I am somewhat disheartened to hear that Davis Bon remains dead, I had rather hoped he was in the process of being alive again

Ironically Davis Bon's ongoing death has meant that he is no longer très bon.
There were so many opportune moments to go for the "small boy" gambit throughout this conversation. It really is my favorite line of conversation with scammers, even if they just ignore sometimes, simply due to the origin of it. Maybe in a future conversation try it constantly just to see what happens?
