Jesus Christ, when I first started this story I didn't expect it to hold such a tight grasp on my emotions. It started so lighthearted and it made you bond with the characters untill inevitably the dark turn was introduced and it all unleashed so quickly. This was a good story and worth the listen.

God I already knew how the story would go but combined with the suspense and built up, when the narrator said “Whitney never made it to school” my heart dropped.
Especially since her dad was accusing her of telling her brother about the triple tree.... he was suspicious that she knew, so he got rid of her. And she's his stepdaughter, her last name is M not W.
Pen pal is another one in a similar vein as this, being disturbingly possible, and also being brilliantly written, possibly more well written than this. The only difference is that, while this story is written more like a novel, that story is written more like an interview.

That line is simultaneously great foreshadowing and a little confusing as Prescott later says they're planning to kill her: I wonder if Daddy Dearest was in on that plan or if he had a change of heart and was willing to let Whitney go once she was no longer attractive to him.

I listened to borrosca back when it released. To this day I firmly believe that this creepypasta should be a movie or a show everything about it is amazing.
It's funny... How I didn't notice it before... The room with the bed and strange smell in the treehouse... I thought nothing of it... But I think it may have been a testing room of sorts for the girls...
I think what scared me most about this story is that it WASNT a supernatural monster but regular men. People are evil, and knowing that this COULD happen is far more scary to me then a made up monster

This story is so heart wrenching and truly terrifying. It's one of the best creepypastas ever written. The puzzle pieces were all there, right from the beginning. And the end was still unexpected and shocking.
WAIT everyone is saying the ending is so stupid but you forgot something. The baby his sister had was named William. The babies were only named P names and K names respectively due to last name of the father according to kimber's mother. The sheriff helped, so logically so did the new one. Sam's dad, which is why he had so much to do when he was getting prepared for the job. Its why he didnt listen to sam. He was part of it. So who is the father of william? Sam's dad. And the men didnt share the girls, that was stated. So sam's dad spent seven years raping his daughter- which is why all her baby's were bad ones. They likely had genetic issues. The end of the story depended on you thinking about the names.
I don't remember who William was because I listened to this is pieces, but you give it a whole new twist. I mean I figured out that his father knew about it but him doing also the rape just makes it a lot weirder. Only thing is if Presscot or the sheriff were smart they would take whitney I mean why give it to the dad?
Whitneys baby was a "community" baby, most likely referring to community "service". Her dad works for them and wouldn't be considered community service since he gets paid.
This comment is the perfect example of watching the whole video first before commenting. Though, it's always funny to see the response when they realize what's going on later in the story.

With Penpal the horror primarily effected 2 incredibly unfortunate families but THIS was on another level, the feeling of helplessness is beyond harrowing

Fantastic story. It actually earns the disturbing and gory parts at the end. It doesn’t just force the gore in. Plot twist was amazing. 10/10 Narration by MrCreepyPasta was great also. Added am extra level of suspense and depth.

This is one of the only stories where I've actually gone and bought the book after to show my appreciation (the other was Penpal by Dathan Auerbach). This is easily one of the best horror stories in recent memory alongside Mother Horse Eyes, The Horror from the Vault series, Cabin Getaway and My Friend Lived in an Alternate Reality.

This entire story (1st and 2nd) is one of the best stories ever to be written another good one is 'penpal'. Both are phenomenal and add a sense of real danger as opposed to supernatural stuff that is not real.

I’m listening to this a 2nd time and OMG! it makes so much more sense now, all the kids names at the beginning, Why Kyle and Kimber dating was weird, and William...W for Whitney...Sherrif Walker. ugh. what a incredibly written, gut wrenching story. it’s like a car crash i can’t look away from
"Subtle". You mean whispering to speed reading and yelling. Those changes are what make him an insufferable reader. Try Otis Jiry, Dr Creepen, or Creeparoni for real talent.
You’re kidding, right? The story is good but his voice is anything but subtle. Constant shifting from barely audible whispering so that you have to strain to hear, then one second later is basically yelling, then frantically talking very fast for a while and repeat. It pulls you out of the story. CreepsMcPasta or Mr. Nightmare both have far superior, *calm*, *steady* voices that you can generally listen to without touching the volume button at night.
After hearing the ending...damn. Kim's mom could have saved a loooot of heartache if she had just put that letter in her daughter's things so her dad wouldn't find it. I mean...she could have also just TOLD all this to her...but then again, clearly she wasn't thinking straight at the time.
The cops kidnapped both of them. They most likely killed Kimber's dad. The letter said that those who spoke up about what was going on in the town were taken to the mountains.
@@ephin3242 You're right, Kimber's mom spoke out about it (in the letter). But since she's dead, they wanted to be sure and keep everyone in the family from revealing the truth about Borrasca. I think at the funeral of Kimber's mom... the sheriff and the cops probably told Kimber's dad that he and Kimber were a liability and that they were going to meet the shiny gentleman. That's probably why Kimber's dad was crying and protesting when the cops were taking him out of the church.

The most horrifying thing about this creepypasta, unlike some of the more fantastical or nightmarish ones is that this fear, this horror is actually REAL, and more than likely something that either has happened or has the ability to manifest itself in our world.
Maybe not the baby mills specifically, but girls do get kidnapped into sexual slavery in our world. This story made me realize just how real the ideas of a town where people "disappear" and corruption of some police officers to support this are.
I always admired writers who could write something so REAL and so...POWERFUL. One of those stories stories that makes you think, "Holy shit, this could happen somewhere and we have no idea!" I've been writing for a long time (still merely a student in it) and if I could write like this it would an amazing experience.

Everytime I watch the beginning of this MOVIE it returns me to my childhood. I feel like the message behind the story is far more worth than the "Horror it has". Not many stories portray the obliviousness of children and how they don't realize that not everything is sunshine and rainbows, and the slow realization as they grow up really hits me. This story is a masterpiece, it is far underrated. I would even say it's up there with the best stories of all time in my opinion. I know it's late but I originally watched this when it first came out, but I keep coming back to it. I bought the book, I encouraged my mother to read the book aswell, as a matter of fact I have spread this story to everyone i can. It deserves more appreciation. I didn't even list off all of the twists and bits of the story around children understanding life. GOD I LOVE THIS!

Definitely worth a second listen (esp after finishing Borrasca V). All the little hidden hints and foreshadowing moments reveal themselves to you and you realize how clever the writing is. This story was so fucked. Even worse with such a bleak ending; knowing that this cycle will continue. It's enough to make me ill. It reminds me and saddens me that trafficking and baby mills do exist. The characters are great, and you grow to enjoy them. They feel like real kids I would know. The fact that somehow kids know certain buzzwords that actually link to the Borrasca is sick to think of, too. Were the parents discussing it within range of them? This was sad, anger-inducing, and mortifying to my core. This story was well-written, and to me, further proves that the scariest stories have human monsters. I would've never known this existed had I not been listening to SOG's archive of pastas and this come into my recommemded. Thanks for the read, I'm gonna go tell my wife I love her, and find a task to cleanse my head.

Metalleon 24 I used Google translate, set the input to "Detect Language," inserted "borrasca," and it says it's Spanish for "storm." But that just means Spanish has at least two synonyms for storm. Maybe it's dialectic or archaic or otherwise nonstandard. I should add that the word borrasca is also an obscure English term for a no-longer-profitable mine.

By the way, the main character was born in 1992, moved to Driskin in 2001, found out about Borrasca in 2008, found Kimber's letter in 2012, and wrote this 3 years later in 2015. Not really many years later huh. I know this cause he just got Tekken 4, and that came out in late 2001, and he was 9.
I remember this being one of the bigger creepypastas out there when I was younger and heard it once. I forgot what this tale told but hearing it again now that I’m older and listening to every single word it just had me in awe and sadness for how much this is and can be real. And just kills my soul a bit for the reality it carries.
I held off watching this for so so long. I'm glad I did and also wish I didn't. If I was any younger this would traumatize me but the story is written so horrifically well and detailed that leaving it any later would be a crime. It did what all creepy stories strive to be and more. So incredibly disgusting, it left me wondering and coming up with my own gross theories the entire way through. The story has such a unique plot. The characters had me completely hooked and each plot twist had me legit gasping. Towards the end it all added up so well and I was genuinely shocked to my core. Best narration I've seen in a very long time, thanks for reading it out in such an enthusiastic tone. I'm going to like on all my accounts and sub on my main. 10/10

This story is so heart wrenching and truly terrifying. It's one of the best creepypastas ever written. The puzzle pieces were all there, right from the beginning. And the end was still unexpected and shocking.

WAIT everyone is saying the ending is so stupid but you forgot something. The baby his sister had was named William. The babies were only named P names and K names respectively due to last name of the father according to kimber's mother. The sheriff helped, so logically so did the new one. Sam's dad, which is why he had so much to do when he was getting prepared for the job. Its why he didnt listen to sam. He was part of it. So who is the father of william? Sam's dad. And the men didnt share the girls, that was stated. So sam's dad spent seven years raping his daughter- which is why all her baby's were bad ones. They likely had genetic issues. The end of the story depended on you thinking about the names.

You’re kidding, right? The story is good but his voice is anything but subtle. Constant shifting from barely audible whispering so that you have to strain to hear, then one second later is basically yelling, then frantically talking very fast for a while and repeat. It pulls you out of the story. CreepsMcPasta or Mr. Nightmare both have far superior, *calm*, *steady* voices that you can generally listen to without touching the volume button at night.
After hearing the ending...damn. Kim's mom could have saved a loooot of heartache if she had just put that letter in her daughter's things so her dad wouldn't find it. I mean...she could have also just TOLD all this to her...but then again, clearly she wasn't thinking straight at the time.

I think at the funeral of Kimber's mom... the sheriff and the cops probably told Kimber's dad that he and Kimber were a liability and that they were going to meet the shiny gentleman. That's probably why Kimber's dad was crying and protesting when the cops were taking him out of the church.

This is INSANE, the story went from a relatively lighthearted mystery, too a dark evil, twisted tale of grief, loss, and horror.
The most horrifying thing about this creepypasta, unlike some of the more fantastical or nightmarish ones is that this fear, this horror is actually REAL, and more than likely something that either has happened or has the ability to manifest itself in our world.
Maybe not the baby mills specifically, but girls do get kidnapped into sexual slavery in our world. This story made me realize just how real the ideas of a town where people "disappear" and corruption of some police officers to support this are.
I always admired writers who could write something so REAL and so...POWERFUL. One of those stories stories that makes you think, "Holy shit, this could happen somewhere and we have no idea!" I've been writing for a long time (still merely a student in it) and if I could write like this it would an amazing experience.

Everytime I watch the beginning of this MOVIE it returns me to my childhood. I feel like the message behind the story is far more worth than the "Horror it has". Not many stories portray the obliviousness of children and how they don't realize that not everything is sunshine and rainbows, and the slow realization as they grow up really hits me. This story is a masterpiece, it is far underrated. I would even say it's up there with the best stories of all time in my opinion. I know it's late but I originally watched this when it first came out, but I keep coming back to it. I bought the book, I encouraged my mother to read the book aswell, as a matter of fact I have spread this story to everyone i can. It deserves more appreciation. I didn't even list off all of the twists and bits of the story around children understanding life. GOD I LOVE THIS!

This story was so fucked. Even worse with such a bleak ending; knowing that this cycle will continue. It's enough to make me ill. It reminds me and saddens me that trafficking and baby mills do exist.
The characters are great, and you grow to enjoy them. They feel like real kids I would know. The fact that somehow kids know certain buzzwords that actually link to the Borrasca is sick to think of, too. Were the parents discussing it within range of them?
This was sad, anger-inducing, and mortifying to my core. This story was well-written, and to me, further proves that the scariest stories have human monsters. I would've never known this existed had I not been listening to SOG's archive of pastas and this come into my recommemded.

No matter how many times I listen to this story I always cry at that damn letter at the end, it always gets me.
The part that gets me is when Sam finds Whitney. Between the story, narration & the music it all gets me worked up. And I'm bawling again now. This is my third time listening. 😢

There names both start with k. It's part of the story. Wouldn't have worked if she had dated Sam.

I miss the young them, I miss Whitney. We never really got closure. But they were so innocent and sweet when they were young, but then Whitney dissapeared is when everything started to unravel

thats what really makes this story so sad to me is at it introduces you to the characters at such a young age just being happy children living their lives.

The first time i heard this narration i was doing math homework in middle school, im now sitting at my desk at a full time job doing development, listening again. I find myself coming back to this every few years. I love your narration, the music, the story is also well written. Glad to see you still doing narrations, and thanks for this timeless reading!
Oh my god I’ve listened to this series at least 10 times and I keep finding new things every time that I didn’t notice. This story is so fucking disturbing because of the emotional bond with the characters it’s amazing writing, it also makes you realize that this is some people reality and that people can do disgusting things for their own reasons.

Read borrasca V, and yes Sam's father is a peice of shit, why do you think he had to leave in the first place, it was all there even in the beginning, out of all places to move he went to drisking. Who do you think Kimber was assigned to? The author of Sam's pain.... His father from the very beginning, even back home when people found out about that 14 year old girl.

Borrasca + Borrasca V are by far my favorite creepypastas ever. It never gets old.
Borrasca is Spanish for "storm." Quite fitting, considering how much "calm before the storm" this story manages to build.

I used Google translate, set the input to "Detect Language," inserted "borrasca," and it says it's Spanish for "storm." But that just means Spanish has at least two synonyms for storm. Maybe it's dialectic or archaic or otherwise nonstandard.
I should add that the word borrasca is also an obscure English term for a no-longer-profitable mine.

I swear after hearing this again years later I LOVE how much emotion MrCreepyPasta gave the characters especially Kyle’s rage.
God, this was such a good story until the end. The end is phenomenal but it's so difficult to listen to.

By the way, the main character was born in 1992, moved to Driskin in 2001, found out about Borrasca in 2008, found Kimber's letter in 2012, and wrote this 3 years later in 2015. Not really many years later huh. I know this cause he just got Tekken 4, and that came out in late 2001, and he was 9.

I remember this being one of the bigger creepypastas out there when I was younger and heard it once. I forgot what this tale told but hearing it again now that I’m older and listening to every single word it just had me in awe and sadness for how much this is and can be real. And just kills my soul a bit for the reality it carries.
I held off watching this for so so long. I'm glad I did and also wish I didn't. If I was any younger this would traumatize me but the story is written so horrifically well and detailed that leaving it any later would be a crime. It did what all creepy stories strive to be and more. So incredibly disgusting, it left me wondering and coming up with my own gross theories the entire way through. The story has such a unique plot. The characters had me completely hooked and each plot twist had me legit gasping. Towards the end it all added up so well and I was genuinely shocked to my core. Best narration I've seen in a very long time, thanks for reading it out in such an enthusiastic tone. I'm going to like on all my accounts and sub on my main. 10/10

Mann this is like the 4-5 times I've listened to this series through. I can say that this, "My property isn't normal" "Tales from the gas station" and a few others need to be full on movies. I'd pay to see them in theaters.

When I was at a residential treatment facility, the highlight of my day was when a mentor named taylor would read us this story, it took almost 2 months to completely finish.
