- We were in Tyler for the Good of the Land Fest, so we thought we would stop by Tyler State Park and check it out. We have never camped here before, so we took a little self-guided tour. Come along with us!

it was a really neat State Park. We will be going to Atlanta State park in December so you will see a big difference in these Texas State parks and why we were so impressed. Thanks for watching it is really appreciated .
I like Tyler State Park! I got a few geocaches there. I also like the way they did the group camping area. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much. Yes we live in N.W. Louisiana so we camp a lot in Texas. We are really ready to get back out and do some camping. Hope you all are well and hope you can make your trip to Texas.

It does look like a great place to camp it's a beautiful Park I border the Shawnee national Forest here in Southern Illinois they have some beautiful scenic trails and geocaches there as well you can take the people out of nature but you can't take the nature out of people great video
Yes, you are right about that! We try to get out as much as full-time jobs allow.
I remember my dad talking about the CC Camps when I was young.... Him and 4 of my nonc's were in the CC's as they called it ..... They were in La. working at different areas... That's why my dad and most of his brothers went in the Army as higher ranking than most guys that were drafted .... My Dad and all my Uncles / Nonc's came back from WWII in one piece ...... +Boo LuQuette when I was young we stayed at a lot of state parks that were built by the CCC and it always fascinated me by their craftsmanship. I bought a book about the CCC when we stayed at Beavers Bend a few years ago. Glad they all came back safe and we truly appreciate their service.

I was looking up this park on our way down to see PT, Lonestar, and LOLA, but I was running late from Shrevesport so we skipped it. Glad you showed me what we missed out on. Perhaps next time we go down we'll stop here.
LOL We are probably going to stay there in january . Definitely will shoot more video when we go. Holler at us next time you come through Shreveport we know a few out of the way places go.

It's about a 2 hour drive, but 95% interstate so it's really not bad

It is a really a nice park. Its probably going to be our new go to park.
Our go to is Huntsville S.P. ,,,this park looks a lot like Huntsville
Armadillo Junction we looked up Huntsville it looks like a great park as well.

C Dub's Journey lol Az is too predictable warm in the day cold at night. Come hang with us in east Texas lol as you know it could be 90 degrees for 2 hours then 30 degrees with snow for 6 hours then back to 90 then 70 with rain. Then 70 Ya got to love our weather. 😂😂😂

Marty’s Crew: Our Family Adventures you definitely need to take the Kids to the Old Mill Pond museum in Lindale its only 10 miles from the park. We should have a video of the Good of The land Fest in the next week.
Marty’s Crew: Our Family Adventures we are going in January and renting a shelter. We are taking some plastic sheeting and a electric heater. My mom and I did this back in the 80’s and it was toasty warm inside.
That’s awesome! Next time we are down there we will make sure to check all of it. My sister in law says she’s definitely going to when they get back down there. I hope y’all enjoy your trip in January. I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes.👍

tina still it will be the middle of January. I will let you know when we nail down a date. We will be in Atlanta Texas at Atlanta State Park December 13-16 for Christmas in the park. You can stay for free as long as you put up Christmas lights.
