I was hoping to see you maybe talk about the actual meaning... so here is how I see the mv
I see this mv as it being mostly Ian himself and you can see mr insanity on the verge of taking over. Ian has talked about how when he is mr insanity he is usually always there too, like he remembers almost everything, while when he's mito he completely blacks out!
So that is also why I think when it comes to the outfits in didn't quite match to either mito or mr insanity. When he's in the all white suit I believe that's mr insanity (but with ian very much conscious and aware) and we know that MITO is the protector of Ian so when the pink guys are threatening him you can see MITO trying to take over to protect Ian (hence the black "mist" in his hands at 2:58 and you can also see mito trying to take over at 2:28 , ...)
Also him with the "claws" and crazy hair I believe that that is 100% mr insanity! Like that is when mr insanity crosses the line and takes complete control At certain points you can also see the switch from ian to mr insanity which is soo cool! They are very subtle, like at 3:37
