i really think he's one of the most unique units in this game, im saving up yellow certs for when he comes back (idk when), but i need to buy ebenholz first
One other thing of note is that if stainless (or other artificers (whose noone uses anyway)) hit his device they restore 1%hp of it. U can prolong le turrets lifespan, for whatever ots worth
I do not have the capacity for higher strategy, all I know is 1) stack S2 on Passenger, Ebenholz, or Penance 2) use S3 for on hit SP like Executor alt, Zuo Le, or Thorns
I think main reason why he's rarely used in general play is existing of quite a few other operators who can wipe the floor on any map without any buffs. It was always obvious for me that he's absolutely broken as a support, and I was trying to get him with Horn on ep13 banner but got 4 Ines instead. Maybe someday... Although I still need some time to accept how british he is. Can't blame the guy of course, nobody is perfect.
yeah he is mainly affected by the fact that we have too many DPS ops who are already too powerful without support. high-risk CC-type events aren't so popular among the general players of the game either, so said powerful ops wouldn't often see usage with debuffers and buffers either.
I'm gonna be fr i completely forgot about it until the video was already fully edited. I had hoped noone would notice but you're the third person to mention it LMAOO
Stainless and his grandma Catherine are the best Artificers imo. I know Roberta is good with her shields but I like how Catherine's replenishes over time
Stainless is probably one of the best design in this game because the versatility in his skills greatly promote having as much fun as you can in this game with the thing he enables. It's kinda like how if you play this game with Blemishine or Chen in the team, you can change how you approach the skills with Offensive/Defensive recovery requirement and open up a lot of way to personalize how you play AK. The turret + offensive recovery and a good attack speed buff is just a potential waiting to be explored. The whole thing with Puzzle really is a good one to bring up because I do think one of the major factor heavily limiting how we play the game is that a lot of players still has to rely on Flagpipe or any flagbearer to get the early game going and this makes it way too costly to play team with multiple combo and synergy potential due to the DP cost to set it up on top of the squad slot being lost to that. Buffknights is like the best one to go with because it uses the least squad slot and the most simply way to set up a synergy. But with the game adding more units with a different early start like Muelsyse with mods or Ines, Stainless is the one char whose potential just keep going up such as Ascalon being around now greatly boosting Stainless turret damage or the summer Anni Pepe stacking her S3 off his turret. I hope I get him when I do the 300 anni pull or I will likely to buy him in the Gold Cert as he is coming soon.
I’ve been interested in him, especially since at lot of my favorite ops are offensive recovery or mushas, but could never justify rolling for him. Fortunately, he just spooked me on Ascalon’s banner. 😊
I've gotten into playing Felines only recently, and he's frequently a mainstay of my squads. Blaze manning a metal crab turret is some good braindead fun, and the attack amplify is hilarious with Jessica S2. Very fun Operator, but he really requires you to start thinking with portals-- I mean devices.
Great video! Convinced me to raise my puzzle and m3 stainless’ third skill for the strat you talked about. Usually only use him for his s2 but I’ll mess around with his s3 now!
"rare for him to be in anybody's account due to him being a chapter release character" dawg i [restarted] playing this game last year when Ines came out and I got him TWICE before I even got 1 Ines. I had to be salty for an entire year before I even decided to build him, and then your video started existing. Thank you for the strategies, I can stop being salty now. edit: for the record his theme song is cool [and is on the playlist], and I DID buy his summer costume because of the cats, but boy was I really mad salty at him for Ines 🤣
One thing that I feel might deserve a little more attention regarding Stainless S3 is that it does have some awkward positioning requirements at times, as the turrets have negative taunt, so you have a little bit of a Warfarin-like situation where you might be pointing someone at a wall to keep them from getting distracted. You briefly mentioned them in here, but I have had a fair bit of fun using reaper guards in tandem with Stainless turrets because not only does this provide them constant healing, they can never get distracted, due to their true aoe attacks.
Thanks for the informative clip! I use Stainless almost in every situation with every skill he can provide. The funniest thing I've done is S2 SP battery Warfarin. Meaning her buff cycle becomes insanely fast (And if they buff ATK together, Chongyue becomes the one-punch man 👊💥). I don't choose, I use both 🤣. I actually use his S1 and S2 more frequently than S3 lately and it was fun.
Some of the most fun I've had in arknights is building IS squads around stacking DoT on stainless s3 to turn them into Mk. 19s. Also, reapers are my most used guard class, and he has pretty good synergy with them due to their range and true aoe. Set up two reapers next to eachother, and two s3 turrets in front of them, and they'll both be hitting both turrets at the same time while simultaneously still attacking enemies
sometimes I use him just for the turrets physical damage reduction, letting me use him/others as a pseudo defender, I do kind of wish that if he did get an alternative module that would give the option to deploy him on high ground along with the turrets for a bit more versatility.
Cool stainless s3 fact: it has a defensive utility, makes an op behind "the crab" take 20% less physical damage. And that alone makes british cat broken, even easier patriot phase 1 stall kinda broken
I'm prepared to hate Stainless with all the strings of my heart. I'll try to fish Ines and Hoerderer to reunite W's family, and I already know this mofo will show up and spook my rolls.
When the short answer is "probably", I immediately remember how I got him instead of Reed alter for 80 pulls (all I had) and feel pain q__q I generally know how to use him, ty for the detailed video.
Haven't even watched the video because I'm offended by this being in my feed since Stainless has been my most-wanted unit since his release and I still haven't gotten him 😭
It triggers me that his S2 doesn't work on Eunectes! You won me on S3 so I'll give that max mastery, also since S2 is still serviceable at Lv7. Thanks for the video!
I've had him built the moment I got him and also forgot about him, he just goes straight onto the first slot of any team without need for higher thought on my part.
One of my favorite use for his S3 is using it as a lightning rod for Passenger S3 to let him reach enemies far outside his range.
i really think he's one of the most unique units in this game, im saving up yellow certs for when he comes back (idk when), but i need to buy ebenholz first
Given CN history, expect him to appear around february
One other thing of note is that if stainless (or other artificers (whose noone uses anyway)) hit his device they restore 1%hp of it. U can prolong le turrets lifespan, for whatever ots worth
About his S3 name, Stainless' real name is Feist, but I'm not sure how the turret resembles a metal crab.
Maybe the material is from the metal crab😂
It's hard to see but there is a metal crab sitting on the turret
i appreciate the pats in the end
I do not have the capacity for higher strategy, all I know is
1) stack S2 on Passenger, Ebenholz, or Penance
2) use S3 for on hit SP like Executor alt, Zuo Le, or Thorns
Here you new knowledge:
Use S1 on your eben. I bet it will nuke Mandra in one go per phase😂
@@abrahamwijaya6631 That's a good idea, will definitely look forward to all the shenanigans I can pull with an almost constant atk buff.

faaaaab you forgot to mention the -20% physical damage reduction his turrets have

I will be judging this video
h.. have mercy..

I Initially didn't want to get him, but hearing his EN voicelines made me instantly cop him lol
Frostbyte: and i took this personally
Stainless imo (i have him): if you like fun and clunky play. This is the man
your OP is more concerning to me then the fact these vids are good
He is soo fun to have in my team. I mostly play in IS content and he's wacky to be around
Hahaha that familiar intro

Woah, thanks for sharing this case! Upd.: I won't be able to use it though bc attack speed buffs make my game crash.
INTERESTING IDEA. As a fellow Reaper enjoyer I'll try this out
sometimes I use him just for the turrets physical damage reduction, letting me use him/others as a pseudo defender, I do kind of wish that if he did get an alternative module that would give the option to deploy him on high ground along with the turrets for a bit more versatility.
Actually got him during Ela banner.... sooooo, I may build him, just because

Upd.: and I got him again... 80th pull on Ascalon banner this time... And I'm F2P and cannot use him bc my PC cannot maintain ASPD buffs q__q I cry
if stainless gets a stain then his whole name becomes false advertisement
Haven't even watched the video because I'm offended by this being in my feed since Stainless has been my most-wanted unit since his release and I still haven't gotten him 😭
I gotta be tripping, kinda heard tf2 medic from the swing your hammers voice line 😰
It triggers me that his S2 doesn't work on Eunectes! You won me on S3 so I'll give that max mastery, also since S2 is still serviceable at Lv7. Thanks for the video!
Rly forgot about his s3 dmg reduction to the operator behind the turret...
So I want to use stainless?
Short answer: yes
Long answer: I'm a buff knights player
Oh no, FrostByte got roasted 💀💀
Also he is good with underrated my beloved Qiubai S3 cause she hits 3 targets with fast spdatk
I've built him a week ago due to boredom and I have already forgotten him
7:51 Hmmmm... I use Chongyue a lot with Stainless's S3, I really should pair him more with his S1
yup, sounds about right lmao
I jusr use him as a mlynar buffer la pluma range extender
I've had him built the moment I got him and also forgot about him, he just goes straight onto the first slot of any team without need for higher thought on my part.
