Those men are both humane and courageous! I liked the release of Brutus the bear at the end. After he had put a green dot of cattle marker on the bear, the officer says, “Looking dapper!” A little gentle humor from a guy who was just pulling and tugging a 1200-pound polar bear into a safe “recovery position.”

@@codyantrim8700you made this comment a year ago, and it hurts my soul to realize how much worse off we are now than we were then. Our country is in such a wicked place. People are hurting, we are about to be in at least one additional war, likely more very soon. We are more divided than ever, and you can FEEL the level of sadness in our surroundings. The amount of hatred that’s being released daily to our fellow people, from our fellow people, is HEARTBREAKING. Everyone is fighting for rights that they believe in, while trampling the rights that our country has always stood upon and that others believe in. Nothing is ok. Nothing. I don’t know the answers to fix this, I don’t know what it’s going to take, but I know I’d do just about anything to see it happen so that our kids and grandkids don’t have to deal with what’s currently happening. I just want peace, unity, compassion and love for everyone. People will say it’s not possible, but it could be. I’ll be praying for the day, because whatever is happening right now, it doesn’t feel good to me. 🙏🫶

In the early 1800s there was a trading post called hudsons Bay. Which ended up growing into a large department store in Canada in the early 1900s The US had an Air Force Base at Fort Churchill, and after the war was later used for a Canadian Air Force Base. Then it became an atmospheric research centre. And now it is an Arctic research centre. People there are the descendants of former residents. Ideally I'd wish they'd close the town down and move all the people to other parts of Canada and help them become established til they wouldn't be bothering the polar bears.
