Old school wisdom. Simple and effective, not too overblown. Great job

Thanks for that. That is what I’m going for on the channel, just sharing some things I’ve picked up over the decades. I don’t think I’m smarter than anybody else, but I’ve been on this rock for a while😉

Always a great topic to talk about...

We all do it a little bit different, but the base beats are pretty similar after we have done it for a while. (Thanks for watching!)

Your shirt says Missouri. I'm from near Springfield, Mo. If you're from Missouri, it's nice to see another OSR fan from the Show-Me State.

Lol. Close. That’s actually an Ozark shirt. Blue Cat Lodge is the restaurant from the Netflix show Ozark. I am a couple hours from St Louis though, and have been through Springfield many times on my way to Branson. Also, a Cardinal fan if that counts for anything😉. Thanks for watching Russell!

@@booksbricksandboards783 Being a Cardinals fan does count for a lot down here. I’m enjoying your videos.

Thanks for watching man, really appreciate it. I’ll keep putting videos out as long as you all keep watching them!

Sweet video, brother. Agreed! Keep the world small, dynamic, and malleable to player fiat.

Not Tim! Welcome back! Absolutely. New game masters often think they have to have a master plan for everything, which ends up killing the creativity of the players. I played in one of those games as a player, and it cured me of it as a GM😀. When all the beats have already been written, you are just dancing to the GM’s tune. A great game is the GM conducting and the players creating a real song of an adventure.

Beautiful maps! The original map is already great but it's encouraging to see how you drew inspiration from JPCoovert. Maybe I'll get into something like that at some point as well. Solid advice as well!

Paavo, the thing to remember is I am not artistically talented either. The techniques that JP teaches are things anyone can learn and use. Buy a set of different size pens and a decent mechanical pencils and you are good to go! Thanks for watching.

Nice video, the pop up text was a bit brief to catch sometimes. For me at least.

I appreciate the heads up. I try to test those before uploading, but due to some equipment failures I had to record twice and didn’t have much time to edit. Thank you!

Sorry, not really picking up on the meaning of your comment. I appreciate the view and will try to respond a little more meaningfully if I figure out what you were conveying. Have a great day Cowboy!
