- Welcome to my journey of making a cosplay of Xie Lian from Tian guan ci fu / heaven official's blessing ! it's not exactly a tutorial but more of an progress video. But i'll post all the pattern i created and the instructions on my tumblr !
Step one the belt. I made it with a corset back for aesthetic and practicality aspects. You can watch how i made the tassel in my previous video. I only miss the braid belt he wear on top on that. I'll do it in another video along the hanfu.

Aaay thanks !! I struggled putting everything clear in my mind before starting so i was hoping this could help since i haven't seen any sewing tutorial for Xie Lian !

Which materials did you use? ❤️☺️
Here's my list :
Shiny grey fabric (NOT stretchy) 22cm/9inch wide, and the length of your waist
blue ribbon (7cm or 2,5inch wide)
shiny metallic bias (2cm or 1inch wide / length of your waist x2)
8 eyelets
blue lace (around 50cm or 20inch )
regular grey and blue thread

for the belt it looks similar but wei wuxian's belt is a bit higher
