I have a weird relationship with this game - I used to go to after school care and they had this game and a Snes for all of us to play. This was one of the games that I used to wait for other kids to finish playing before I played the stuff that I wanted like Shadowrun or TMNT. But I still have fond memories simply for the music alone.

I prefer Master Higgins in Super Adventure Island 2. More like an RPG + platformer. I love it!!
The other Super Adventure Island game was hard, confusing & fun
I remember playing this game after school back in the 90s . My little brother beat this game so many times.
The soundtrack, has Kris Kros vibes, and classic house vibes.. Amazing soundtrack.. This was by far the best era in video games.. 16 bit era forever..

NES first game is super hard but starting from 2 and 3 things get better.
