Well, take a shot! I'm a guy and kind of know of they act with this sort of stuffz, they tend to still hold some feelings for a person they once "liked". Deep inside, they still like you and are willing to give it a shot. Maybe not as willing as before, but it's still there. You just have help him find it. I, myself, had had a crush on 2 girls. Once when I was pretty damn young, in grade 5, crushed for about 1 year than dropped it. Than, now, Grade 10, I met "The One". Or somebody that I really care about more than ever. Yet, when I take to my older crush, I still feel the "Effects" one has when talking to their crush. I know it's still there. Maybe your crush does too. Or maybe not. Ether way, you won't know if you don't try.

How it really feels? Just imagine your soul being ripped from your body and then slowly being crushed until a year or two has passed, then you finally get your emotions together and try to move on. But, because you two both go to a private school with less than 200 people, and sit by eachother in most classes, you're kinda fucked in this endless loop of denial and hopelessness. Highschool for me in a nutshell.
Yeah I'm in a similar situation... In my school there are lots of people but I seem to see no-longer-my-crush everywhere which kinda makes it hard to move on and forget him...
I know for sure he doesn't and will never like me and I don't like him anymore either but some part of me still wonders "what if..." questions about him, which can sometimes make me really doubt if I had really stopped liking him completely...

There is one guy i'm kinda into and I think that there is a possibility that he could like me back because he use to talk to me lots last year and it made me question whether he was into me or not which made me think if i'm into him. This year we've been kinda joking around lots lately, talking a bit and we have complimented our music playing (school concert, we both play instruments) a few times to each other (like he's said it twice to me, I complimented him once).
