The way of writing i (specifically drawing a circle over the i) actually makes a lot of sense to me and I don't really take the others seriously (obviously our way of writing doesn't define who we are as a person, and you could be writing that way but be the actual opposite of what the video suggests)

It’s called cursive
It's a bit different because in cursive there are specific ways of writing a letter, like b or z, and in connected handwriting you just connect them while maintaining the original shape of the letter.

Also, I always question things that I find redundant, especially when I know the argument will come down to, "I'm an adult, so do what I say, even if it's stupid and inconvenient," so I agree with the connected letters thing, and the others that matched my friend's handwriting matched their personalities. Mine depends on how soon whatever I'm writing needs to be done. The faster I need to get it done, the more cursive like my writing gets, and the more my dots for my "i"s just go wherever. When I've got time I write my letters more blocky and precise.

Guys, the video kinda mixed some of the traits, putting some traits where they are not exactly correct. Also, you gotta look at the "gestalt" of you handwritting, some of your traits will cancel the others. This video is an oversimplified way to explain it all, but it's a great introduction :)

I don't write the same way all the time. Sometimes I write big and sloppy, but sometimes I write small and neat. Sometimes I am in a rush and scribble so that I cannot even read it. Sometimes I put a circle on my I and sometimes just a dot. If I have a large piece of paper, I will write larger and use more spacing. If the paper is smaller, I need to write smaller and clearer to fit it all in. Everytime I sign my name, it looks different. So, this video is ridiculous.
Also, if I am writing with a pencil or a pen or a nice marker-pen, my handwriting will look different. These traits are very widespread and can be for anyone.

ivybeth dude all you have to do to test yourself is to grab a notebook or paper and a pen/pencil, relax,write down sentences or letters,and then compare them to the video. Also make a list of your result. :) hope it helped you understand it a little bit better.

I think I have a bit of clue for changed handwriting, my chemistry teacher's handwriting is absolutely beautiful, while he was writing a sentence someone opened the door of our class and threw an eraser at his face, after having a chase he continued his sentence but the handwriting was absolutely off.. given that he was absolutely calm before and then finished the sentence while he was angry, the handwriting looked from two different people in one sentence.

whilst my handwriting is defined enough to where you can see it’s mine, it also changes...constantly. knowing me, i’m an introverted extrovert. i love being around people, but i HAVE to have my alone time or else i have no energy to do anything. in ways i am very organized and meticulous(OCD), but my room is rarely ever clean(except for right now). I get overwhelmed very easily and have a lot of sensory issues, but i still love being around my friends and going to school and meeting new people.

And that's a really serious issue to have abusive parents or to be poor, it didn't sound like you have a lot of respect for people who have to deal with these kind of things, but that's just the impression I got. Melody Chen I have this problem but I'm hypermobile which makes it 10 times worse, so bad to the point that I use an iPad in school to work on, not writing.
Some person thought I was writing in cursive, I just write very fast and it makes the letters look connected.
I think people should consider connecting their letters and giving less space because what I have experienced in my life is that every smart person who has made some amazing discovery like Einstein, Bill gates, Nikola Tesla and Mother Teresa, all of these people have connected handwriting letters. It doesn't mean it should be messy but the letters should be connected and that brings a great impact in your life.

In fourth grade, we learned to cursive. But I preferred my own ‘special’ cursive and writing like a normal human.

well, since none of these were right, I gonna tell you guys the real me:
I am really shy and am scared of talking to anyone, Im always scared of people, Im always nervous, I am always criticizing myself, I cry very easily, and I´m really sensible.
But my trueself is completely different:
I´m always talking, I am always smiling and making jokes, I have the ability of make people laugh when they´re crying, I would never tell something that someone told me not to say, I´m really nice to people but when someone makes something wrong to me, I just try being nice but hate them on the inside (it´s different of being a hypocrite, it´s hard to explain, I just try to be nice to everyone), and I´m really weird, but in the cute way.
And now how I am on the inside:
I am really imaginative, I´m kinda lunatic, I always live on my fantasys, I think animals are as great as humans, I have problems to understand what is the real world and what isn´t, I tend to control my anger by saving it in a little box inside of me, what makes me get to a point where I just explode, I prefer talking to people through the internet than face to face, I always dance and sing to make myself happy, I can´t focuse for long and I´m sometimes a genius

It’s weird I look back at my writing while seeing this and see a mix of things like with the opened and closed circles or the dot over the I and the circle ig being random is my personally hopefully that’s not a bad thing

Well, you can do it by context. Like, if the sentence was: "My name is ..." you could tell that it was an 'i' in 'is'. Also, the i is shorter than a lowercase L or something else, so you can see it visually.
