Great. I'm planning a 7 string multi-scale headless build. Question: is there any need to install and additional magnet under the coils like on the old Gibson humbuckers?

Very informative. I am looking to replace my pickup in my fan-fret which also has very weird dimensions. Would it be possible to order them with specific wiring like 6800 x 44 gauge (which ideally would then sound like Duncan JB's)? thanks!

Does direction of wounding (clockwise or opposite) matters and which of ends of wounded wire is the output and which is going to be the ground of the coil ? And there is question how the wire gouge impact the tone of pickup? I'll be grateful for reply.

Winding direction doesn't matter and I use the Seymour Duncan color code for indicting the output and ground for each bobbin so the black is hot, red and white are wired together in series and green is ground. docs.google.com/gview?embedded=true&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.seymourduncan.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F05%2FWD_Pickup_Color_Codes.pdf

Thanks for that precious clues! In question about ground and output ,I had rather on mind, which end of coil gives us the output - the one on the top of winding, or the one which the winding starts with...

Using the Seymour Duncan color codes means that the start is output and the finish is ground for the north bobbin and finish is output and start is ground for the south bobbin.

hey mate I'm a little confused. Humbuckers normally have a magnet under the bobbins but these don't? Is that because the pole pieces are charged? If that's the case then how are regular humbuckers (with bar magnets) charged north/south when the individual pole pieces aren't magnetic?
I'm genuinely confused man can you clear this up for me?

I have a question why on a second bobbin you used not white and black but green wires as a lead wire ?

      I don't understand your question.

@@HighlineGuitars i mean. When you choose the multiscale of the guitar, Like 25.5 - 27, you have to buy a fanned bridge Like hipshot or any single saddle. And they have a degree angle( hipshot 21° works well with that multiscale) so what angle will fit this kind of humbucker?

Awesome! I'll keep in touch. I have a guitar I'm building that is my going to be a start to hopefully some being sold locally. I SOOO appreciate your videos and info on building great guitars. Not looking to be worldwide, just a dream and hobby I've been trying to bring to life. Again, thanks
