It's crazy how the packaging for this and even the IEMs themselves give it that premium feel. Rather, getting premium or at least premium-adjacent at this price point is amazing.😇
Thanks for the video mate. Nice to see audio reviews from you. You should do more of these! The ling long is great, I have the regular quarks probably will try to get these.
Comming from the kz something pro, i knew they can make a good quality product for very low cost, the ling long sound even better, the noise from the cable rubbing on cloth is higher but the sound is just natural, they dont fatigue the ears and have a open sound, like them quite a bit. The case is bonkers btw, very thoughtful.
Did you try them for gaming by any chance? I"d like to know if I could identify where ennemies are in games like Valorant. Also, did you find any build pressure or the open design prevents that?
Salnotes Zero is not very resolving, so they are close, but overall Zero is still better. It's has the lean studio-like tuning which isn't necessarily good, but it's clean. Linglong on the other hand has this cheap, muddy V-shape. The bass response is underdamped. Wan'er is a better IEM in every way already. To put it short it does Linglong better then Linglong. Wan'er hasbetter bass, better clarity, a beginning of what can be called soundstage. However if you already have Zeros, then don't bother with either. The best upgrade to Zeros are Etys and the Hexa. Both are the same dry presentation, but technically head and shoulders above the cheap stuff and especially the KZ circus. At themoment Hexa is $60, Etys are $80.
7:40 lol a secret sharur enjoyer perhaps? But yeah these alongside the quarks seem to be the closest thing to variations in terms of sound quality without spending 500 usd, albeit they are still not perfect, but manufacturers are slowly getting there.
How do you describe Sony mh1 sound? Some say it's neutral earphone sounds much closer to sennheiser hd600. As an audiophile, what's are good things about Sony mh1?
It's rare for KZ to make something good Must of their iems are just show and tell stuff like oh we got 14BA iem but sounds worse than the original Moondrop Quarks
It's all personal taste for sure! I just played 7 of my IEMs back to back to see which I liked more and my first and third favourite were KZ brand! Second was the Wan'ers which are fantastic! I'm older and have older ears so what I heard and enjoy will be different than others. But the first IEMs I tried were the KZ ZSN Pros and they are still my favourites😊 But I admit I'm no audiophile 🙂

Nah. Both are good. LingLong a bit more balanced but Wan'er also fine and has replacable cable. If you don't like it get the LingLong or get the LingLong anyway just as a good 2nd pair
Is the volume enough? I'm using cca cra now.. its volume is alot.. so I'm concerned about volume.. is ling longs volume is loud? And close enough to cca cra.??? Love from Bangladesh
@@lltechview thankyou so much for replying.. I'm just concerned about the loudness.. like is the loudness is even comparable with the kz zsns or any other 10mm drivers?
@@Sadat5735 They are a bit quieter in comparison to larger drivers. In my totally unscientific test I measured 73db loudness at max with my Xperia 5 IV as playback device vs 78db on the Tangzu Wan'er with a larger driver
This review is such nonsense. This IEM doesn't compete with Etymotics for example. There are many IEMs around 20 USD, that are comparable with Ling Long. In 2010 I had Sony EX500, thata had similar tuning and vented design and people weren't flipping out about it, like this. LingLong is a nice IEM, but that whole thing about making 500 dollar IEMs obsolete is not reasonable at all. At $20 you have Wan'er that has already better tuning and more clarity... And replaceable cable. I'd get Wan'er over this unless you need the bullet enclosure.
I am not stating it makes them obsolete but that these can come very close in tuning. And yeah others before them aswell but never really from KZ. Quite a surprise hearing them. And yeah there is some mud and its not perfect but its a really good IEM for that price. Yeah 20USD IEMs might have replacable cable like the Wan'er and a slightly different tuning with a bit of more quality in the highs and lows. But the build quality is on another level. The Wan'er feel hollow and cheap. The Ling Long not. But both are good. Get whatever fits your style and you like the most.
a great beater iem.
If you commute, you'll want one iem that sounds good but you don't mind if it get roughed up.
This is one of those sets.

I've got to say, your enthusiasm reflects my own with stuff I love! Very appreciated! I ordered them and am looking forward to hearing them!
KZ is a fantastic brand, I'm using its earphone and it was one of the best purchases of my life. Its quality exceeds my expectations😍

Best Christmas present for friends and kids!
For christmas a bit early. But easter is around the corner
It would be great if there are more LINGLONGs in different colors, so that can have more choices.
you could definitely pay somebody to pull them apart anodise them and add a detachable cable. but that wouldn't be 15 bucks
Ide pick neon green so i dont lose
Did you try them for gaming by any chance? I"d like to know if I could identify where ennemies are in games like Valorant. Also, did you find any build pressure or the open design prevents that?
There can be a bit of pressure as besodes the open back there is no vent. As for games. I need to test them still for that

He got the post nut clarity
Eu gosto deles também. Penso em modificar eles quando o cabo não for mais.
What about the technicalities? On par with other budget sets like Salnotes Zero?
Its comparable with the Tangzu Wan'er though I think the Wan'er is still a bit better in that regard. It can however compete with the Moondrop Chu.
Salnotes Zero is not very resolving, so they are close, but overall Zero is still better. It's has the lean studio-like tuning which isn't necessarily good, but it's clean. How do you describe Sony mh1 sound? Some say it's neutral earphone sounds much closer to sennheiser hd600. As an audiophile, what's are good things about Sony mh1?
Sony MH1 is definitely more bass emphasised. Details are lacking a bit in comparison to the newer IEMs
