Good stuff fellas! Wrexham is obviously growing famous in the US and now so is this podcast. Definitely #NwxtGenChamp club and podcast
Thanks for your support!
Looking forward to seeing you in Vancouver. 🏴 🍁🇨🇦
Will be a lot of fun! Do say hello when you see us
Another great episode.
We both really appreciate the continued support!
nath- without Ben hanging in and then stepping away in the window is why we have okonkwo now- One more thing for Ben f to take credit for 😄
Hadn't actually considered it like that - good point well made (I just like to bloviate that one of my opinions was actually right...)
In any event, regarding playing league games in the US, the podcast commentary is correct: EFL is not going to be the first mover ... it'll be the Premier League. I expect the EFL Trophy aka Bristol Street Motors, once Papa John's, once Johnstone's Paint Trophy will be a chance to see the young signings in action, in teams peppered with some grizzled veterans to give them a bit more backbone and keep the backups game ready in case of injury. We might even see Howard in the Trophy games to give some experienced leadership at the back, and the GK#2 in the League Cup games & early FA Cup rounds.
Depending on who goes out on loan the Bristol Street Motors Trophy is a valuable opportunity to give fringe players/youngsters some valuable minutes
@@robryanred I would guess that's why it starts with a group stage.
Enough with the heat wave. 36.6 here. I’ll take you 32 any day
Just so you guys know, the FID boys took a shot at you guys in their latest podcast after they realized they were using your graphic for the list of fixtures. Anyway, as far as I’m concerned they threw down the gauntlet and told us listeners we had to choose to listen to either your podcast or theirs. Rest assured that for reasons I can’t explain, I have chosen Rob, Ryan, Red over FID. If anyone can explain, please let me know. 😂
Insert why not both meme here
To be fair, they are Fearless in Devotion, not Thoughtful in Devotion. Come to think of it, Thoughtful in Devotion is more the RodRyanRed lane.
It was 100% tongue in cheek. There is mutual respect between pods.
@@LOSTshowfan I know my comment was tongue in cheek as well. I made a similar comment on the FID TH-cam podcast.
Can’t tell us what to watch!
Now you see how NFL fans when the league takes games oversees like London, Germany, Mexico, etc. it takes one of the few precious home games those home fans already have. There’s only 8! Taking one away is too much
Never truly seen on this side of the world the blowback for moving games but I guess NFL league office have pressed ahead and normalised it?
nice graphic 😂
Don't go cropping... haha!
in the states, the fans are ignored by professional teams' ownership. the uk fans can intimidate their teams' owners into doing or not doing certain things. pressure from uk fans gets managers sacked almost daily. in the states, owners do what they want, the media agrees with them and hypes them up, and the fans have to eat a shit sandwich
Must be so frustrating to not feel like you can have any influence. In truth, the higher up the leagues you go here the level of influence definitely wanes but right now at Wrexham there is still an ability to rally
37.6c here in Texas. Sorry. No sympathy from moi. Lol
Luke Bolton is better than Anthony Forde so I guess Forde will go out on loan in September, with a recall condition in the agreement.
It's a tricky one because defensively Forde is the best of Bolton, Barnett, Forde, but is more limited going forward. Intrigued to see what role he plays - if any - after not being part of the end of season last time out. Really curious one
