We got FIRST Champions Awards 2nd place and Robot Game Performance 4th place in FLL Taiwan National. Maximum score in national tournament is 540 due to some human negligence😅
✅2x SPIKE Medium Motor
✅2x SPIKE Large Motor
✅2x SPIKE Color Sensor
✅1x LEGO SPIKE Prime with Pybricks python
✅OFDL Advanced Python library. (Based on our EV3-G Blocks)
*This robot first version was based on LEGO MINDSTROMS EV3, after a month we switch to LEGO SPIKE for better Gyroscope.

I know you said that you used just the drive base, but did you use gyro drive base? Also do you think you would be able to send the texts for one of your runs or something? I'm also just wondering how consistent is pybricks is?
Yes, using pybrciks drive base with gyro enable.
dBase = DriveBase(motorB, motorC, 62.4, wheel_track)
dBase.use_gyro(True)
for more function like turn and move: docs.pybricks.com/en/stable/robotics.html
@@OFDL is it better to do GyroDriveBase or just do the dBase.use_gyro(True) part at the end? Or is there ay difference at all?
@@zanegregor1398 The current version of pybricks remove GyroDriveBase, use .use_gyro(True) instead.
@@OFDLThx for your help. I just have 1 more question. How do you guys have a then until like sensed? What is the code for that? Been trying to find it but unable to.
@@zanegregor1398 Sorry I am not sure what is "have a then until like sensed"?
Amazing! Well done team! So cool to see Pybricks used for this!
Thanks Pybricks bring the great software for everyone!
How do you make your drive so fast and so straight, I use pybricks and can't achieve this?
Robot design and robot tunning is important too.
Fantastic!!!!!
hi, I've been following you for a long time, you're straight professionals, to be honest, I admire you I'm sorry for asking for advice, I can't find information about this, how do you start and stop so smoothly, do you just reduce the speed gradually or is there some formula please help
For SPIKE we using PyBricks drive base, For EV3 we use our Advanced Controller Blocks.
You can use an acceleration block, and set it to slow
What’s advantages to choice pybricks? Lego spike prime ide have more advanced blocks too, is it not enough?
Our robot usually going astray, every attempt differ previous, what can be wrong?
Because the performance of Pybricks and SPIKE App us quite difference, Faster program execution speed can make your robot run more precise.
Are you guys coming to australia?
Yes we will 😊
See you at APOC- we’re team RoboRoyals from Australia
See you soon!
hello, I wanted to ask you how you can rotate the robot by 90° on the spot, please help
Using Pybricks drivebase with gyro sensor.
Do you use custom blocks to make transitions from one block to another seamless?
We using Pybricks this year, and use drive base function.
@@OFDL could you show me a mission please?
