I had 702XL black but is more wide can I do something?
If the ink doesn't fit, kindly check if you're installing the correct ink for your printer. Make sure that any tapes and plastic protective clips have been removed. If the cartridge appears too big or if you cannot see any of the gold connection points, there probably is a protective clip or tape still attached to the cartridge. Make sure that you are installing the right color cartridge into the right color slot, fully seated, and snapping into place. Try it in a different direction, look into the printer to see what's blocking it from going in. Hope this helps.
Can you slide the tray of the ink cartridge
Do you know if I could use the Epson 34 Ink in these printers instead of the 702? They only sell the 34 here in Germany but my printer is a US spec one.
Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3730 only uses Epson T702 / T702XL ink cartridges which come in 4 colors: black, cyan, magenta, and yellow.
@@Ldproducts Okay thank you! So im out of luck. I have no way of getting 702 easily here in Germany, as the same printer uses Epson 34 here. Damn
@@marvinjoa Unfortunately you will probably want to buy a new printer. The cartridges are similar but the chip on the cartridge that communicates with the printer is different. So if you were to install a 34 into printer that uses 702s, it will bring up an error message.
That is not a 702XL cartridge, it is a 702.
Hi Joshua, the 702 is a standard yield cartridge and the 702XL is a high yield cartridge, both will work in your printer and install in the exact same way. The only difference is that the 702XL has more ink so it will print more pages.

every time a new ink gets installed, the printer will pump out & waste about 6% ink from each installed ink!
When a new cartridge installed, the printer needs to prime the cartridge prior to printing so it works properly in your machine. To reduce the number of cleaning cycles your printer goes through, we recommend printing regularly (about once a week) so your cartridges are always primed and keeping your printer on when it's not in use. Most printers automatically go through a cleaning cycle again when they are turned back on.
