Ao ashi is another great one for football it's more focused around fundamentals though than blue lock extreme plays. If you ever want to watch something about American football eye shield 21 is older but still one of my favorites all time

I must admit - the hype built in this episode made me read manga and now I can't wait for the big match which is probably my facourite arc of this story so far. It'll be amazing to see it animated. Season 2 will start on Oct 5, 2024 And they will cover up to the U-20 arc (on which it was shown on Episode Nagi Blue lock Movie) I Hope you will watch it as well, I think the international screening schedule dates were already released
I'd love seeing you guys react to more sports anime and football anime, specifically one of my favorites Giant Killing! Unlike most other sports anime, it isn't covering highschoolers but rather actual professional footballers! It's older but it's really great!
As someone who is current on the manga I really wonder what you guys will think of shidou in season 2. Its gunna be a fun season for sure you'll get to meet one of my favorite characters. 🎉🎉.
I'd totally recommend Ao Ashi. It's another (imo more realistic) football anime. Personally I enjoy the Ao Ashi manga more than blue lock. Haikyuu is also a must watch- it's a volleyball anime and widely regarded as one of the best sports anime.
If you want another football one Ao Ashi is a little less known, but is the best sports anime around in my opinion. It tells a more realistic story of how one might become a pro.
