Online Events are not the Problem when you allow your players to have a playarea like this thats a problem. It is set up so you can go and switch a card on the edge of the table.
The actual issue is tournament organizers not having and enforcing strict webcam guidelines. You should not be able to play with a webcam setup like that or even be allowed to have your cards anywhere near the edge
@@sizettv7396 realistically all im saying is rather than having third party organizers who don't enforce webcam regulations properly so this stuff doesn't happen, a client would probably be easier overall. Somehow DBZ got one but onepiece doesn't?

There is an overwhelming lack of integrity when it comes to many players during webcam games VS in-person events. I simply don't trust online web tournaments because (unfortunately) there's too many players that will try every trick in the book (and even some outside the book) to circumvent rules/regulations/etc. just for a win. Instead of winning based on skill and luck of the draw, too many people would rather cheat because they think they can get away with it. It's going to be a sad generation for the future if people are willing to stoop so pathetically low in a card game. Just imagine what a trainwreck their lives will become when they try to cheat their way through everything else in life. You can tell a lot about a person by how much they are willing to cheat to grab the lowest hanging fruit. First they cheat in One Piece TCG, then they cheat on the SATs, then they cheat on their spouse, etc.
Gah damn. You sound sick asf. Hope you get better soon brother. Thank you for the vid, more reason not to participate in online events. Shouldn’t be like this, we really losing to magicians wtf 🤦🏻♂️
What's truly messed up is the fact no one would have realized he cheated if he waited a bit before exposing the card being sleeved. It's so easy to cheat in remote duels it's not even funny.
It’s hard not to spread hate when the cheating keeps occurring and someone who’s topped and took expensive prizing that probably didn’t deserve it and no penalty smh 🤦🏻♂️
One Piece is full of this. Lost card game...unfortunately. They finally should release an app for online games. This is not a good thing for the game. I losr interest since a while cause every week there is a new cheater story.
I mean, why are we hating on katakuri when he was clearly caught cheating with a law deck? Sure he probably cheated as Kata too, but y’all are completely ignoring the fact that it’s possible with law too
How you gonna play Katakuri in op06 AND STILL CHEAT!? I'm sorry but if you're cheating you don't deserve to play OnePiece in any regional or other major tournament.
@@Thoughtseaux you do realize he only played kata or Enel before this so even though he ONLY got cheating with Law doesn’t mean he wasn’t cheating before lol
@@Thoughtseaux you can’t refuse the judges judgment. I mean, you can appeal, but this guy played featured matches, final round, on stream and even cheated there and no one said shit. Unfortunately, the rule about your setup is not enforced heavily. And if a judge decides you are playing, your choices are play or forfeit. Even so, if you record and watch the video back and notice shit like this, you can do what I did and send it to a judge for review. Thankfully, it worked out.
@@FearlessGuts You can refuse and to a degree in my case, threaten. I had a game where I gave my opponent a warning before I called a judge and the judge said "just keep it on screen" at which point I told the judge I'd show the video evidence of the match if the angle didn't change(everytime he drew/held his hand the top half of the cards were off screen). So 2 minutes later viola, a better angle with no chance of cheating. If my opponent's hand/deck/discard hit the edge of the screen at any point I call foul. As we saw here the card didn't even need to fully leave the screen to cheat. Stuff like this doesn't make me hate cheaters, it makes me hate the cowards who let them get away with it because they want to assume the best in everyone and not rock the boat. They are afraid of taking heat from the community for playing correctly and gettin labeled a "rules shark". The community won't improve by hoping people don't cheat and trusting everyone plays fair. The biggest problem is that everyone wants to be viewed as the "skilled casual" player. They don't want to viewed as a tryhard, while also not being viewed as a noob. They'll let something go in the moment that is suspicious from their opponent because they are unsure how to confront them and worry about their own image more than the integrity of the game.
There are more cheating Katakuri players than any other leader, meanwhile actual Katakuri stabbed himself before fighting dishonorably
