- Having not sailed on #oasisoftheseas since 2018, this was an opportunity to check out the OG of the oasis class fleet for the first time since she received her royal amplification in 2019.
With additions like the #abyss dry slide, the Portside BBQ, and El Loco Fresh, there is lots to explore. Not to mention she is still one of the largest cruise ships in the world with no shortage of entertainment, dining and cool venues, including Studio B and the #Aquatheater.
Once settled in as a first time solo cruiser ,highlights like the production show One Sky and guest singer,Lou Gazzara did not disappoint. You will get a sneak peek of these performances in this video.
A challenge to anyone who can name a better male vocalist at sea than #americanidol alum Lou Gazzara. There is a full bonus performance of his at the end of this video.

Good singer, but a little over the top for me. Nice video. I have done two solo cruises, I love them, but I am very sociable so it works. And when u want alone time it's the best.

It may be the angle of the camera. I’m 6’4” and haven’t had any issues with low ceilings in cabins. Mind you any taller and that might be a different story as they are certainly lower than non-cruise accommodations. Thanks for checking out the video!
A flight to New York must be a pretty short one from Toronto?
A few hours east of Toronto but NYC area is closet port to fly or drive to for us. Nothing scheduled out of NYC for the next while. Next cruise has us leaving out of Fort Lauderdale!
I sailed on it in 1992. It was great. The entertainment was World Clas, unlike now.
