When is the right time to get your child a phone? Jonathan Haidt would argue that children shouldnt have smartphones but I am honestly not so sure. I agree that they create challenges but for some children they provide a much needed measure of security. Should I get my child a smartphone? When is the right time? What age is too young? Me and my sons relationship suffered because of that phone and game. I still drop him gems whenever I can but at 16 he doesn't really want pops all up under him at this age.
