this is so beautiful I thought it had gotten alot of attention but man this is so underated! Has me tearing up thinking about my own childhood and nostaligia. truly amazing keep it up man!
Yes! Some cameras' sensors are called crop sensors because they are smaller than the "Full frame" sensors. This means when you shoot on a crop sensor camera, the picture you see is actually cropped in. So if you shoot a 50mm lens on a crop sensor, the image you see will more likely be that of a 75mm because the sensor crops in on the image. Thus full frame gives you more resolution and flexibility which makes it more desirable. lmk if this helps and thanks for the question!!
this is insane work bro, love it! earned my sub FOR SURE haha. in terms of lighting do you have any recs or were just using light sources around the house?
Thanks for the kind words!! In terms of lighting, it doesn't get better than natural lighting. Of course, it depends on what style you are going for and there are lots of great videos on youtube about 3 point lighting, diffused lighting, harsh lighting etc. Hope this helps!!
Thats a great compliment because I found lots of noise in my footage but used Davincis Denoise system to remove a lot of it, there are a lot of great youtube videos on how to use the tool as well. Thanks for the question and hope that answers it well!!
@@hi.kingharry I knew this video would be about nostalgia and 4:3 evokes that feeling! You see it in movies a lot when they want to show you something from the past they will switch aspects ratios! Thanks for the question 🤟
@@AdvertiseReality, thanks for the response. What do you think about the aspect ratio? In my case, I am using a DJI Osmo Action Camera for any situation. Should I shoot in 4:3 to get the benefit of the whole sensor, and then edit to 16:9 in post? is that a good idea?
@ oh I shoot everything in 16:9 because that’s what (most) cameras shoot in. The 4:3 aspect ratio is simply done in post when I export the video. Thanks for the question 🤙
@@AdvertiseReality btw, I'll try to make videos the next year, what camera will be good for the job? I searching something chip, but good on the Sony Cameras, i only want to make this cinematic style and shoot some photos too.
What a vibe! Love it bro!
Thanks for watching!! 🫡

Great video!
Can you please explain what exactly means when it says that this camera is not 'full frame'?

loved it! How did you get those subtle white film-looking specks in your opening shot?
I use a power grade called Film Vision 2 and it allows me to apply that to my videos! Thanks for the question 🤟
The way I instantly recognized the song..☠️
No way, you might be the only one haha!!
I recently visited my granny in my hometown, this video hits way too close
That's so cool to hear! Glad to know it connected well with you!
Whow ! How do you avoid digital noise in the dark?

Excellent! Did you film in slog3 in the low light ? Cause it looks great
Yes I shoot everything in S-Log 3

Thanks, man!! I've been using a power grade tool called Film Vision 2 by serr. Hope this helps you!

I didn't. Just the one lens 17-70 mm tamron f 2.8 and an ND filter!
@@AdvertiseReality thanks man which nd filter btw and what strength?
@@tarutran6391 I have the NiSi true color 1-5 stops. The strength changes depending on the shot and lighting available
