Good to see the Ol' JD 3300 & the F600 still out getting the job done for you there Farmer Pete. Looks like you've got the combine setup about right from the looks of the corn in the grain tank & on the truck. Hope you have a safe harvest & some yields to brag about a little at the coffee shop. Thanks for the ride alongs as always. ROCK ON FARMER PETE!!!!!!
Good old machine still getting it done. I think that's what Becky says about Ed It would be fun to run the older equipment in today's modern high yields Years ago a guy down the road bought a really nice 3300 and a couple big gravity wagons. The only problem was he had to build a pad a couple feet tall to drive the combine up on to be able to unload into the wagons.
@@jonstevensmaplegrovefarms3754 lmao 😆😂 good morning Jon ☕☕☕ Ya, smaller machines just can't reach up. We had a few Gleaners back in the day. A truck with 4' sides was no problem, but 5' sides, we would roll the auger just over the edge. Had to load for both sides. But it worked 👍
Looks like the old 3300 was working well. It was nice to see the F600 rumbling along and doing it's job too. I love and use the "classic equipment" just like you. Glad you got started on your corn and hope you finish without problems. Great video.
Man yeah Mr Pete, getting it done!! Looks like things are going pretty good!! Love the camera work!! I see your F600 has true dual exhaust, love that undercarriage shot as well!! Cant wait till next season too!! Thank you sir for bringing us along!!! That corn looked great too!! 😁😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🌽🌽🌽🌽
Thanks! I had pretty low expectations, rightly so it turned out. Where I was working this day was almost respectable but small ears. Other fields I had big patches where not much germinated because of dry soil. Still others where the plants didn't grow tall enough to shade out the foxtail. I am in an area that was classified as exceptional drought.
Thanks! I am in the exceptional drought area. Whacked me pretty good. This day I was in my better stuff. I had some fields where the corn didn’t get tall enough to shade out the foxtail.
loved the view of the F600 driving over top of the camera location. thanks for the video Pete..😎
Thanks SBF! Good way to see the bottom of the truck without crawling under it 🙂

Thanks! The 3300 does do a nice job.
The ol gal still gets it done!! And the fresh water pump obviously does it's job👍
Yup, it does what I need it to do. Worked flawlessly the rest of the way.
@@farmerpete perfect 👍

Thanks Charlie! It’s good that there are some of us keeping this old iron going.
Looked like some clean corn in the hopper and truck, the 3300 is doing a nice job. Thanks for letting us ride along!
Thanks! Corn in the hopper was clean. Just wish there was more of it.
Looks like you already had your first dusting of snow for the winter. That little combine still does a good job!
Thanks! Yes, I had a dusting. North of me they got a couple inches.
My grandfather had a 45 combine, then 3300 and finally a 4400 diesel at the time he retired along with a F600 grain truck w/ 16' bed.
Cool!

Looks like the old girl worked great Pete 😅
Thanks!
Getter done Pete! How’s the yield? Happy Harvesting

Me 40 years ago with ih 303 turbo
Looking good Mr.Pete! Thx 4 sharing & l enjoyed seeing the dual exhaust on the F600. What is your moisture level running this year?
Thanks! Loads were running about 18% at the elevator.
How many acres of corn did you have this year?
I had about 20 acres.
Hey Pete great shot of the undercarriage of the truck. How is the corn performing did the dry weather badly affect your yield?
Thanks! I am in the exceptional drought area. Whacked me pretty good. This day I was in my better stuff. I had some fields where the corn didn’t get tall enough to shade out the foxtail.
Good undercarriage
I should take that shot more often. Easier than crawling under the truck to check things out!
now if you can just figure out how to grease the drive shaft without crawling under
