Boy oh boy what a massive and muscular looking SUV. Built like an absolute tank💪. Interior screems luxury. I was there for the fan meetup at Lexus Meraki and got to experience the 500d. The feel of the driver's seat was just wow!!!
Great review Shirish. Lexus never had the brand cache that RR/MB/BMW have but what it brings to the table is bullet proof reliability. Even that seems to have been let go of late in these latest iterations with overdose of electronics all around. Even then Ill take the Lexus any day over RR. I also feel looks of the new LC are much more palatable then this LX with Darth Vader grill. The recently launched Lexus GX 550 with twin turbo V-6 is far better looking. The pricing is obnoxious though not that it will matter to its intended target audience.

This focus on perfection has resulted in more durable, reliable, and ergonomically designed car parts that edge other manufacturers. Japanese are also known for their OCD(obsessive compulsive disorder), Because they perfects anything. If an employee in a factory found some error while manufacturing a car or any other things,The entire manufacturing process will stop and resolve that issue and again starts from the zero. These are some reasons for their unmatched reliability...

Honestly expect more deapth in the character of the car.(shockers, dampers, agility, ability, diff lock, suspension) just dive in the technology or something, educate the audience more about pros and cons of Lexus lx500d and its predecessor with a flow. Just conduct some tests(off road, drag, brake tests) content is so vague and scattered, neither it’s entertaining or informative. It’s a request to get a guy/girl who shows emotions whilst driving. It’s a 3 crore car but the guy is barely happy. There has to be excitement, information, emotion to content. In my personal opinion it lacked everything.

3 CRORE! I cant even comprehend the income bracket one needs to be in to drop this kind of cash on a car. IMO this car does not feel that special and does not look as good as the LC 300. If I had this kind of money, with my sensible hat on in fantasy land I would go for the Range Rover.
