Cool video but it is also misleading at the same time. The only reason you bhop is to conserve momentum. There is no air strafing so you can't build up momentum by strafing. Edit: There is also no point in crouch jumping as it doesn't change anything unless you're hitting the ground hard in which it prevents you from clipping into the ground. As well as this, holding your movement key also does not affect your bhop as long as you time it correctly.
I mentioned how it isnt possible to build up speed by strafing. ''The first answer doesnt exist but the second one surprisingly does.'' Second one was basically converving momentum while timing your jumps. Pay more attention next time. Pressing the key in where you are going actually applies effects to the momentum. Pressing S while being pushed forward isnt gonna give you the same amount of speed than pressing W while being pushed forward for example. I guess crouch jumping works better for classes that are vulnerable to knockback like agent? Idk, you're the one who mains agent here. Thanks for the feedback regardless.
In TC2 crouching doesn't really affect anything besides for the fact that you take more knockback while crouching than while standing. The only other thing I can say from the top of my head is that changing the direction you face slows down your movement and amplifies it to a higher speed when you turn back. Basically it's just a way to control surfs and the speed in which you are moving. Also my bad for skipping the intro and not realising you already said how the first scenario isn't possible but in the end, this is a good informative video for the TC2 community.
I didnt know about the way of crouching doesnt affect the speed. It's fine if you skipped the intro. Good to hear that it is a good video for the community. Unfortunately, this is overshadowed by clip dumps and frag movies (Also silliness)
This video is outdated, as the summer update dropped, and added new movement mechanics.
