I remember I loved this show! When the show would end my friends and I would lift the curtains and look at the animatronics. My little sister would fear that the robot animals would jump off the stage and attack lol! Ahh.good times.
My mom used to quote the "7 disco records" line to me all the time and we'd both laugh. This is one of my distinct childhood memories and I'm so glad I found it on video!

The rock afire has such good programing and fluid momentum , meanwhile the cec ones seems robotic and un life like. You could tell Aaron and his team really cared for the rae and showbiz

We had a showbiz pizza place in Green Bay growing up. I’d absolutely love to be able to experience these again. Maybe it was just me but they were entertaining even as a child.

Yes I agree,I went to billy Bob’s wonderland it’s like showbiz like the last remaining showbiz but it’s in Barboursville West Virginia it ya wanna go there. SO anyways I was walking by and just see the lifeless glare of them lol 😂
Really goes to show you the power of something when the guy who designed it all and has his heart and soul in it is in charge. The painstaking effort put into programming all the animation for every character even during the times when they're in the background and not talking.. all the subtle movements and expressions, it's amazing. Places like Billy Bob's Wonderland lets their character falls apart, while Aaron is pushing them to the limits of their capabilities and still letting them 'live on' by continuing to make shows like nothing's changed. Not to mention the fact that he even changes their hair styles and stuff between shows for that extra bit of realism.. amazing. I actually figured Aaron voiced most of the male characters himself but maybe I'm wrong. I love the organic approach here, leaving in mistakes and blunders like Mitzi cracking up and laughing. It's almost like a improve acting.
It's comments like this that keep me thinking about what we can do next, and I do have plans designed especially for Half-Dude and people like him who know to look for the passion.

Thank you for posting my childhood too! Missed the Rock-a-Fire Explosion band since '86 (when our Showbiz Pizza shut down) in my hometown. These anamatronics scared me when younger, but I was so fascinated by Fatz. Terrified of him, sure. 😊 Looney Bird is my favorite too so is Duke "Dook" Larue, and Earl and Rulfe. The "seven disco records" is classic! I absolutely loved this! I might still have a Billy Bob 45 rpm record with original sleeve of him singing Happy Birthday. I picked it up eons ago for a quarter at a garage sale. 😊 I'm still searching for the 10" plush stuffed toy of Fatz Geronimo. However, those are about $250 and more. Too bad some of my childhood is astronomically impossible to collect. Hah! Good memories though. Stay for the pizza, stay for the fun! I wish they would re-open these Showbiz Pizza places. I realize in today's economy they may not appeal to younger generations, but at least us Gen X'ers could have an awesome hang out place to take our neices and nephews. 😊

It was very cute seeing some of the VAs deviate from the script, yet it being programmed into the show. It's like all of them are old friends and just want to mess around a little.
Still one of the best showtapes in my opinion. Love the constant "UGH!" from Earl from Rolfe's 7 Disco Records. Looney Bird's increasing agitation, Beach Bear constantly changing his line, and if this was 1982, the first mention of colanders?
I remember seeing this show as a kid and the sun and moon holding things up by arguing that the song should state the traditional lyrics to satisfy Santa. It was hilarious! I can't believe you did this in two days.... wow! That must of been quite the rush job! So cool seeing this again with the added Rolfe and Earl parts! Thank you!!!

Bruh these guys are hilarious their shows really have life in them
1. This is filmed very well. WOW. 2. The arrangement of each character what they sing and how they sing is perfect.

Yes I agree,I went to billy Bob’s wonderland it’s like showbiz like the last remaining showbiz but it’s in Barboursville West Virginia it ya wanna go there. SO anyways I was walking by and just see the lifeless glare of them lol 😂

I like they have personality and the movement is not stiff and the fact they are entertaining
Really goes to show you the power of something when the guy who designed it all and has his heart and soul in it is in charge. The painstaking effort put into programming all the animation for every character even during the times when they're in the background and not talking.. all the subtle movements and expressions, it's amazing. Places like Billy Bob's Wonderland lets their character falls apart, while Aaron is pushing them to the limits of their capabilities and still letting them 'live on' by continuing to make shows like nothing's changed. Not to mention the fact that he even changes their hair styles and stuff between shows for that extra bit of realism.. amazing.
I actually figured Aaron voiced most of the male characters himself but maybe I'm wrong. I love the organic approach here, leaving in mistakes and blunders like Mitzi cracking up and laughing. It's almost like a improve acting.

Thank you for posting my childhood too! Missed the Rock-a-Fire Explosion band since '86 (when our Showbiz Pizza shut down) in my hometown. These anamatronics scared me when younger, but I was so fascinated by Fatz. Terrified of him, sure. 😊 Looney Bird is my favorite too so is Duke "Dook" Larue, and Earl and Rulfe. The "seven disco records" is classic! I absolutely loved this! I might still have a Billy Bob 45 rpm record with original sleeve of him singing Happy Birthday. I picked it up eons ago for a quarter at a garage sale. 😊 I'm still searching for the 10" plush stuffed toy of Fatz Geronimo. However, those are about $250 and more. Too bad some of my childhood is astronomically impossible to collect. Hah! Good memories though. Stay for the pizza, stay for the fun!
I wish they would re-open these Showbiz Pizza places. I realize in today's economy they may not appeal to younger generations, but at least us Gen X'ers could have an awesome hang out place to take our neices and nephews. 😊

It was very cute seeing some of the VAs deviate from the script, yet it being programmed into the show. It's like all of them are old friends and just want to mess around a little.
Still one of the best showtapes in my opinion. Love the constant "UGH!" from Earl from Rolfe's 7 Disco Records. Looney Bird's increasing agitation, Beach Bear constantly changing his line, and if this was 1982, the first mention of colanders?

I remember seeing this show as a kid and the sun and moon holding things up by arguing that the song should state the traditional lyrics to satisfy Santa. It was hilarious!
