@@lehlogonololehlogonolo4500 If you actually read the article , you will see that STATS SA compares service delivery to the poor areas in municipalities across all 9 provinces in SA and that the Western Cape comes out tops by a long margin!!
Of course there are still backlogs as many people continuously flock to the Western Cape ( especially during Covid) precisely because they want better services.!!
Also as a provincial government, the Western Cape has limited powers and budgets compared to the national government. Imagine what it could do for the poor if it had national powers and unlimited funds!!

Thank you SABC for giving DA a platform to respond to all these petty politics that smaller parties are playing, like ActionSA. Here is a true and honest party that wants prosperity for all.
With all due respect to Mr Mzwandile, I think he could’ve been much better prepared and constructive in his line of questioning. It is my view that his job is to get as much out of an individual regarding that which they represent or stand for. Speak to that as opposed to something that attempt to qualify a standing narrative….
But Helen is a seasoned and astute person who has held senior political positions within the political landscape in this country… The only Mayor who had won World Mayor of the Year in South Africa….
She’s an effective, honest Leader, motivated by pure Altruism .... a gift to this country that we rejected

The ActionSA had to pull out of Ekuruleng! They are outright EFF friends. And the EFF has their eye on Mayoral position. ActionSA need to keep that opportunity open.
techninically thats not true even johannesburg when herman was mayor he said he always wanted to restore dignity to people service delivery to poor people as well surbabs. If you want the DA to help in the rural areas vote for them there. Rural areas always vote ANC. So the ANC and their cares will rule there.

The question you should be asking is why white people are not joining ANC?. You can't have 10 whites in an organization of a million people, and have them all in top positions so that the DA and its voters can be happy. That's not how it works.

Her comments on EFF were not very satisfactory and its known that EFF doesn't demand any positions from the DA, the question though still remains why accept votes from the devil when you're not a power hungry party ? By the way I like Helen Zille and I think she needs to be honest about the fact that should they as the DA take control of the Gauteng in future they have the EFF to thank bcz its giving them an opportunity to prove their competence in Gauteng metros.

The City of Cape Town was not really a coalition, the ID of Patria De Lille was swallowed in 2010 by the DA!
In Gauteng the DA can't dictate and swallow to ActionSA,EFF and IFP!
The DA must learn to work with other parties and accept their mayors are failing in Gauteng especially in Tshwane since 2016.
Coalitions does not mean you can't hold each other accountable!
ActionSA did not say the EFF must be a coalition partner, Zille is lying, the EFF is a voting supporter of the DA from 2016 including in 2021 and currently in the Ekurhuleni unstable minority government
